High School Musical catapulted Vanessa Hudgens to tween superstardom, but at 20-years-young, Disney’s Gabriella Montez could use a break from her the hit franchise. In the October issue of Allure — on newsstands Sept. 22 — the actress talks about being famous, her fans, and the nude photo scandal that shattered her clean-cut image.
Vanessa On Her Fans’ Parents: “I love dads because you get to see them squirm. It’s extremely awkward because they don’t want to put their arm around you. It’s the crazy moms who are the worst.”
Vanessa On Her Nude Photo Scandal: “It’s so aggravating and frustrating, and whenever anybody asks me, would I do nudity in a film, if I say that it’s something I’m not comfortable with, they’re like, ‘Bullshit, you’ve already done it….It’s screwed up that someone screwed me over like that….At least some people are learning from my mistakes.”
Vanessa On Wedding Rumors to Zac Efron: “People love making up craziness. I don’t know where it comes from. It’s ridiculous”

Vanessa Hudgens Cast As Prostitute In "Sucker Punch"

High School Musical actress Vanessa Hudgens will strip down to her skivies for a role in the upcoming action flick Sucker Punch. The 20-year-old Disney starlet is set to tackle the role of a foul-mouthed prostitute in the film scheduled to hit the theatres in 2011.
“I’m playing a character named Blondie and it’s set in a brothel in the 1950s, so there’s not a whole lot of clothes,” Vanessa explains. “It’ll be gun training, stunts, fighting and all that craziness. I can’t wait. I’m so excited. I’ve wanted to do an action film for a while. I think this is my time to really step it up and get to grow up. It will be somewhat different with the content and a few more foul words but that’’s the biggest difference.”

Vanessa Hudgens Tells Zac Efron She Wants To See Other People!

Nobody puts Baby V in a corner! Vanessa Hudgens has told longtime boyfriend Zac Efron that she wants to date other men. The 20-year-old actress is said to be livid over her 21-year-old beau’s recent comments claiming he doesn’t want to get married until he is 40. At the insistence of friends, the former High School Musical star has decided to make Zac jealous by seeing other people.
Of course if Vanessa truly wants to strongarm Zac into marriage, she could always go the old school route and trap him with pregnancy. That always works. Kidding.
A tattle tells The National Enquirer said: “When Vanessa heard about Zac’s plan to stay single for the next couple of decades she was shocked and shattered. She’d secretly hoped for an engagement ring within the next year or two!”
“Zac’s totally upset – he doesn’t want Vanessa dating anyone else,” the spy adds. “Even though he’s not ready to commit himself to settling down at this stage of his young life, the thought of Vanessa in another man’s arms drives him crazy.”

Vanessa Hudgens & Lindsay Lohan "Cagney & Lacey" Remake

One is an embattled former child star, the other, a singing and dancing brunette once embroiled in a nude photo scandal, but now there is talk of bringing former Disney actresses Lindsay Lohan and Vanessa Hudgens together for a big screen remake of the 1970s police drama Cagney and Lacey.
The hit series originally starred Sharon Gless and Tyne Daly as a pair of tough cookies taking down criminals on the gritty streets of New York City. Hollywood insiders are certain the new project would be the perfect springboard to superstardom for the young starlets, but can you really see Vanessa Hudgens as a cop?
“There’ll be romance, tears, broken hearts and a lot of close ups. And singing and dancing,” a tipster squealed to reporters for The Metro on Wednesday.
According to the Daily Metro report, producers hope to sign Baby V’s real life BF and High School Musical co-star Zac Efron to play her hubby Harvey in the film.
“Of course, we’ll have to make the bad guys a little less menacing in order to retain some semblence of credibility,” says a source close to the negotiations. “….We’ll have some musical numbers thrown in there but basically we intend to retain the spirit of the original show.”

“I keep a taser in my purse for self-defense. I’m moving into a house by myself and it’s scary,” Vanessa whispered to Us Weekly reporters this week. I am 500% in favor of Vanessa caring a taser gun- I’m actually in favor of any woman caring one in order to protect herself!

Wow… this movie looks like it should have opened on the Disney Chanel…. Granted I’m in my mid twenties and this movie is geared towards a whole different generation- it still looked super lame!! I felt bad for Lisa Kudrow when I saw her pop on screen! Atleast she has 3 other good movies coming out this year to help redeem her! Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens re-enact a scene from Disney’s animated classic Sleeping Beauty
in a new photograph shot by renowned celebrity photog Annie Leibovitz.
Dressed up as Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty, the reportedly engaged couple posed for a photo, called “Where Romance is Celebrated,” that will appear as part of Disney Theme Parks’ new “What Will You Celebrate?” campaign.
“Zanessa” as Prince Phillip and Princess Aurora will also be feautred in Disney Twenty-Three, a new entertainment and lifestyle magazine that will launch at Disney.com/D23 on Tuesday.

I hear High School Musical sweethearts Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens will tie the knot in a intimate wedding ceremony planned for September.
Blabbing tattles tell Britain’s People that the couple are already eyeing tropical venues for the Fall nupitals. Hawaii’s winning by a nose.
“Zac is over the moon Vanessa said ‘yes,;” according to a source close to the couple. “They are both young but they know it’s the real thing.”
Zac, 21, and Vanessa, 20, met on the set of Disney’s High School Musical three years ago and played teen couple Troy and Gabriella in the franchise. The young lovers live together in Los Angeles.
“The proposal was something Zac had been thinking about for a while. They are both really excited about the wedding – it will be a star-studded day. They fell in love with Hawaii while there for a friend’s wedding. And Vanessa wants to get married on a beach so it’s perfect.”
