Betty White Set To Guest Star As Herself On New Season Of ‘30 Rock’
Posted on 22. Sep, 2009 by CSS.
The guest list for one of NBC’s most popular comedies just got a bit more “Golden.”
Emmy Award-winning comedy 30 Rock will welcome Emmy Award-winning television
legend Betty White for a guest appearance later this season!
“We’re shooting a bit tomorrow with Betty White, so that’s good!” series star Tina Fey told Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell after winning the Emmy for Best Comedy Series on Sunday night.
“What is she going to be playing?” Nancy asked.
“She’s playing herself,” Tina replied.
Betty was the cast’s first choice when it came to who should guest star, says Alec Baldwin, who took home the trophy for Best Lead Actor In A Comedy Series.
“We all put names in a hat, and we took a vote, if you could have one guest star for the whole season, who would it be? And Betty White was the winner!”
30 Rock took home 5 Emmy’s this year and the new season premieres Thursday October 15, 2009.

Robert Pattinson is smitten with Emmy-winning actress Tina Fey.
When asked about what “type” of girls he would like to date during an interview for the April issue of GQ, the 22-year-old Twilight heartthrob named 30 Rock’s Tina.
“I don’t really have a ‘type,’ but I like smart people. I really like Tina Fey -she is, like, the sexiest woman.”
The 38-year-old Tina thinks Pattz’ pretty sexy himself. In an interview with Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last week, Tina branded the young star a “Sexy devil.”
