Natalie Portman has broken her long held rule of not responding to Internet gossip to blast rampant rumors that she is having an affair with the very married — albeit separated — Sean Penn.

“Sean Penn is a friend and colleague. The reports that we are romantically involved are completely untrue,” the star of The Other Boleyn Girl said in a statment to Extra Friday. “I normally do not respond to rumors about my private life, however, this repeatedly fabricated story has forced me to do so.”

Bill O'Reilly Interview Boycotts Sean Penn

bill-oreilly boycotts sean penn www.hometownhollywood.comBill O’Reilly has seen Fast Times at Ridgemont High for the last time.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Emmy-winning conservative pundit reveals that he is boycotting Penn and his catalogue of films because he disagrees with the Oscar-winning actor’s political views.

Over the years, Sean Penn has enraged many with his politics by visiting Iran and Venezuela, as well as for his frequent criticism of the Iraq War and former president George W. Bush. O’Reilly is the first politico chatterbox so disillusioned with Penn that he has vowed not to watch any of his films.

THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER: ARE THERE ACTORS WHOSE POLITICAL OPINIONS DISTURB YOU SO MUCH YOU WON’T SEE THEIR MOVIES?

O’Reilly: Just Sean Penn

THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER: SOMEONE WILL READ THAT AND ACCUSE YOU OF ENCOURAGING A NEW BLACKLIST ERA.

O’Reilly: Not at all. He’s a great actor, and if you hire him, you’ll get a good performance. I’m just not going to give a guy who gives aid and comfort to people like (Iran president Mahmoud) Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez and Saddam Hussein, when he was alive, my 10 bucks. That’s my right as an American.

I can understand that- there are certain celebrities whose personal lives have struck a nerve with me and I haven’t been able to separate the professional from the personal and as a result I no longer enjoy there work.

Ryan Gosling Has It Bad For Natalie Portman

natalie portman-ryangosling crushing www.hometownhollywood.comNatalie Portman has been receiving poetic text messages from Ryan Gosling. The smitten actor is believed to be sweet on the Heat star, who has been romantically linked to married Oscar-winner Sean Penn since splitting from rocker boyfriend Devendra Banhart last September.

A source told The Chicago Sun Times:

“Natalie always has been attracted to actors and other men who are intellectuals and Ryan qualifies. Along with continual and very poetic text messages, Ryan has been sending Natalie first editions of books he thinks she would like.”

I’m much more in favor of this coupling rather than the previously reported Portman & Penn affair.  I’m a huge fan of the two as actors. Gosling was excellent in Fracture alongside Anthony Hopkins.  And of course every girl will always be a fan of his work in the Notebook with former girlfriend Rachel McAdams.  Gosling was also romantically linked to Sandra Bullock back in 2002.

sean-penn-natalie-portman cheating www.hometownhollywood.comHollywood is abuzz with whispers that 27-year-old actress Natalie Portman is involved in a passionate affair with married Oscar-winner Sean Penn, 48.

The alleged couple, who met when they both sat on the jury at the Cannes Film Festival last May, first sent tongues wagging when they were spied enjoying one another’s company over dinner at Sunset Tower Hotel’s Tower Bar on March 17.

Natalie and Sean were “constantly touching each other” as they dined, Star claims.

“They went to a bank of elevators that only goes to the spa or to private rooms,” an eyewitness tells Star. “They came back about 45 minutes later, and that’s when I saw them making out.”

The restaurant tipster continues, “There’s a door outside of the hotel’s Tower Bar that has a bridge to the terrace, so it’s semi-private…I used that path to get to the restroom, and when I came back, I had to go through some curtains — and that’s when I interrupted Sean and Natalie! When they saw me, they were startled and quickly composed themselves.”

Sean Penn has been married to actress Robin Wright-Penn (”Jenny,” Forrest Gump) for 12 years. The couple reconciled after a brief split last spring.

Sean Penn And Mickey Rourke Call It A Truce

Sean Penn and Mickey Rourke, who are both up for Best Actor trophies at the 2009 Academy Awards in Hollywood this month, have reportedly called a truce and put their reported differences aside after Mickey called Sean’s Oscar-nominated performance in Milk “homophobic” and “average.”

According to The New York Post’s Page Six , the two met for drinks at the Sunset Tower Hotel pool in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon

“Mickey had his little Chihuahua with him for moral support – he looked a little nervous around Sean. Everyone knows Sean can hold a grudge. It was weird, though – some guy they both knew came over with a video camera and started recording them.”

Couldn’t it be that the two never really had a beef? I could see Mickey saying those things in jest about Sean if the two were friends.
