Ryan O’Neal is furious at his estranged son for claiming that he cheated on his late girlfriend Farrah Fawcett with her best friend of thirty years, former model Alana Stewart.

Griffin O’Neal — who was barred access to Farrah’s funeral in Los Angeles earlier this month — has accused the actor of sleeping with the former Mrs. Rod Stewart as Farrah lay dying of cancer in a city hospital.

“They were sharing a room together,”
Griffin reveals in the new issue of In Touch Weekly.

Griffin recallls an incident when Fawcett’s father, Jim, walked in on the couple in bed together while visiting his sick daughter. “It made Jim uncomfortable, so he packed his bags and went home,”

Farrah’s longtime friend Javier Salazar also backs up the affair claims, describing Ryan and Alana’s relationship in Farrah’s final days as “fishy.”

“Ryan and Alana are a little too cozy with each other….It is raising eyebrows. They both stayed at Farrah’s (home) in the end.”

Earlier this week, Stewart announced that she will publish a diary of her friend’s fatal fight against anal cancer. The book is scheduled for release next month.

farrah-fawcett-died www.hometownhollywood.com she was 62

Very sad news to report everyone….

Farrah Fawcett, the American sex symbol best known for her role on the ’70s series Charlie’s Angels, has died after a three year battle with anal cancer.

She was 62.

The lady with the iconic hair passed away at St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California at 9:28 AM on Thursday.

While her condition was deteriorating, those closest to Farrah wanted to take her home for her final days.

Her death comes just days after longtime companion Ryan O’Neal revealed that after 27 years of dating, he had recently asked Farrah to be his wife.

“She’s gone. She now belongs to the ages,” O’Neal said in a statement to PEOPLE on Thursday. “She’s now with her mother and sister and her God. I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her so very, very much. She was in and out of consciousness. I talked to her all through the night. I told her how very much I loved her. She’s in a better place now.”

He added: “She was with her team when she passed … Her eyes were open, but she didn’t say anything. But you could see in her eyes that she recognized us.”

O’Neal says Farrah’s family and friends plan to honor her with a funeral service at the downtown Catholic Cathedral in Los Angeles sometime in the next few days.

Rest In Peace, Farrah…..She put up an incredibly courageous fight against an awful disease. Now she really walks with the angels…

Ryan O’Neal is opening up about his longtime companion Farrah Fawcett’s battle with cancer in a new interview airing on The TODAY Show this week.

In an interview with Meredith Vieira that is set to air on The TODAY Show on Wednesday, May 13 and Thursday, May 14, Ryan says of the courageous actress: “She’s the rock. She taught us all how to cope. She’s extraordinary. I don’t know what I’ll do without her, to tell you the truth.”

“I don’t think I can now. I know this, that in the last two years I loved her more than I’ve ever loved her — ever. She’s so much more of a woman and powerful, courageous, fearless and all those adjectives. And I look at her with awe.”

Ryan tells Meredith that he and Redmond, his son with the 62-year-old former Charlie’s Angels star, realized that her battle with cancer was taking its toll during a walk on the beach: “The first time I ever noticed, I walked with her and Redmond on the beach one day. We used to take that walk all the time to the rocks and back. And halfway there she stopped and said: Can we go back? And Red and I looked at each other and we knew that… See she could fool you because she always looked good. She looked really good. And he used to say to me: She’ll be all right. Look how nice she looks.”

NBC will air a documentary on Farrah’s battle with aggressive anal cancer, Farrah’s Story, this Friday night.

farrah fawcett www.hometownhollywood.com critical conditionCancer-stricken Charlie’s Angels star Farrah Fawcett is said to be in a “critical but stable condition” after being hospitalized in Los Angeles last Thursday.

The 62-year-old actress is battling intestinal cancer, which she was first diagnosed with in 2006. Her cancer went into remission, but returned in May 2007.

Farrah’s health has deteriorated since she returned from Germany, an source at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center-tells the Daily Record.

“On Farrah Fawcett’s behalf, I can confirm that she recently checked into a Los Angeles hospital,” the producer, Craig Nevius, says in a statement released to PEOPLE. “And although it is usually against her nature to correct false or exaggerated stories that originate in tabloid-style reports by offering true information that they would not otherwise have to publish, Farrah is allowing this statement out of appreciation for her fans, who have offered their constant support throughout her fight, as well as out of concern for the countless other cancer patients who have written her over the last two-and-a-half years in order to tell her that they are following her story in the hope that there is hope.”

Her longtime partner Ryan O’Neal, 67, is keeping a vigil at her bedside. The couple’s troubled son, Redmond O’Neal, 24, who had earlier joined his father at his mother’s bedside, was busted when he drove a friend to a detention facility in Santa Clarita, Calif., and guards found drugs on him at a checkpoint.

Farrah’s cancer struggle has been filmed for an upcoming NBC documentary, A Wing And A Prayer.

Ryan O'Neal's Son Sentenced to Rehab Over Meth Bust.

Posted on 09. Oct, 2008 by CSS.

Ryan O’Neal’s son with Farrah Fawcett, Redmond O’Neal has been sentenced to a two week court ordered rehab program after violating his probation and being busted with Meth.  This kid has struggled with drug addiction for years and he is so young(23)!! Do you honestly think making this kid go to a two week program is really going to turn it around at this point? He is fighting a meth addiction- i dont know what the law allows in these cases if someone does please let me know! I think his sentence to rehab should have been much much longer…Let’s face it two weeks in rehab is a JOKE.

What Redmond O’Neal called a “major misunderstanding” is starting to make a little more sense.

The 23-year-old son of Ryan O’Neal and Farrah Fawcett, who was arrested along with his dad last month on suspicion of methamphetamine possession, was ordered into a two-week treatment program Wednesday after admitting that he had relapsed.

“You’re a stand-up guy to come here and deal with your problem,” Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Scott Millington told Redmond, who also checked into rehab in 2004 to treat a heroin addiction. “I want you to stay clean…You better stay clean or the hammer is going to fall.”

An attorney for the O’Neals didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

No criminal charges have been filed against either Redmond or his dad in connection with their Sept. 17 bust at the elder O’Neal’s Malibu home during a routine probation checkup. Officers allegedly found Redmond to be in possession of what looked like meth, as well as a small vial of the stuff in his father’s bedroom.

At the time of their arrest, Redmond was about two months into a three-year probation sentence for DUI and possessing heroin and crystal meth.

Ryan O’Neal has maintained his innocence in the affair, his lawyer telling reporters that his client would no doubt be vindicated.

“Those were not Ryan’s drugs, he doesn’t use drugs, and has nothing to do with them,” attorney Mark Werksman said. “It’s a dangerous assumption for deputies to have arrested Ryan just because he was in proximity to the drugs.”
