Audrina Patridge Slaps Stalker Zachary Loring With Restraining Order
Posted on 12. Sep, 2009 by CSS.

A judge has granted MTV reality star Audrina Patridge a temporary restraining order against a man recently arrested outside her Los Angeles home.
“I can confirm that Audrina Patridge filed a restraining order against an overzealous fan,” her rep confirmed in a statement to E! News. “Audrina and her family have no relationship with this person.”
According to a petition filed in Los Angeles Superior Court Friday, Zachary Loring, 24, first appeared outside Audrina’s home on Aug. 26 and returned several days later. He was arrested on Aug. 30 and released a day later.
During his visits, Loring presented the star, who is also 24, with a packet of letters and drawings, including one that showed a woman being strangled when he first went to her home, the filing reveals.
“Ms. Patridge is in great fear of returning to her home and is currently staying outside of Los Angeles County due to her fear for her personal and physical safety,” her attorney wrote in the restraining order petition.
The order requires Loring to remain 100 yards away from Audrina and her younger brother, Mark, and to not try to contact either of them.
Audrina, a star of the MTV series The Hills, is featured alongside Rumer Willis in the new slasher flick Sorority Row, now in theaters.

Golden Globes Website Messes Up- Announces Best Actress Winner Too Soon.*UPDATE*
Posted on 11. Jan, 2009 by CSS.
The 66th Annual Golden Globes will air on tonight, January 11th on NBC, where Rumer Willis will serve as Miss Golden Globes 2009. Extra learned of a snafu that occurred on the Golden Globes website and it’s not apparent yet if it’s a whopper or much adieu about nothing.
For a short time, the Golden Globes website showed there was a winner in the Best Actress in a Motion Picture category. The winner was reported to be Anne Hathaway for her role in Rachel Getting Married.
The GG folks indicate it was “accidental” and Hathaway’s rep called it just a “glitch”. One might assume, therefore, that the website was being prepared in advance so that it could be quickly published for viewers immediately after the broadcast.
The talented actress won Best Actress at the Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday night for Rachel Getting Married.
We will all find out tonight if it was really just a mishap… If it wasn’t i’m guessing someone might not have a job to show up for tomorow…
Update:
Just a fluke! Kate Winslett took the honor.

The Art of Elyzium's 2nd Annual Heaven Gala In Los Angeles
Posted on 11. Jan, 2009 by CSS.
With the party season in full swing as Golden Globes weekend is upon us, the stars were out for The Art of Elysium’s 2nd Annual Heaven Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night (January 10).
Held at The Vibiana, the stylish black-tie affair saw Hollywood stars including Nicole Richie, Joel Madden, Kate Bosworth and Gerard Butler all take to the red carpet for the charitable cause.
The event was hosted by Rosetta Millington Getty and Ryan Kavanaugh, with other celebrities in attendance including Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Patricia Arquette, Sophia Bush, Kirsten Dunst, Melissa Joan Hart, Ali Larter, Jared Leto, Eva Mendes and many others.
Jennifer Howell, founder of the organization which seeks to enrich the lives of artists and critically ill children, told press, “The Art of Elysium exists because of the passion that artists hold in their hearts. By serving children in need, the artist is allowed to express this passion in ways that could never be revealed on stage, in a gallery or behind a camera.”

The Golden Globes HomeTownHollywood Preview:
Posted on 10. Jan, 2009 by CSS.

The 66th Annual Golden Globes will take place Sunday, January 11th, 2009, airing on NBC at 8 p.m. EST. Though they’re announcing the start of the show at 8 pm., my guess is that it will be the same as two years ago, and NBC will do an exclusive half-hour pre-show at eight, then the ceremony will start at 8:30 p.m.
The 65th Golden Globes didn’t go on last year because of the writers’ strike. It seems as though the Globes were sorely missed, because *everyone* is showing up for Sunday’s party. There are a lot of A-list talents nominated this year – I’ve covered the Golden Globes nominations here:
Here’s a run-down of the some of the top celebrities nominated: Colin Farrell, Robert Downey Jr., Tom Cruise, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Kate Winslet, Heath Ledger, Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Ralph Fiennes, Dustin Hoffman, Emma Thompson, Frank Langella, Phillip Seymour Hoffman and John Hamm!
Here are some highlights of who’s scheduled to present/appear: Steven Spielberg, Johnny Depp, Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, P.Diddy, Sting, Sandra Bullock, Pierce Brosnan, The Jonas Borthers, Glenn Close, Ricky Gervais, Jennifer Lopez, Salma Hayek, Kate Beckinsale, Josh Brolin, Marisa Tomei, Amy Adams, Kevin Bacon, Elizabeth Banks, Angela Bassett, Kristen Bell, Sacha Baron Cohen, Amy Poehler, Simon Baker, Laurence Fishburne, Blake Lively, Chris Rock, Seth Rogen and everybody’s favorite Scotsman, Gerard Butler.
Ron Howard will be receiving the Globes’ Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by Frank Langella. In interviews, Langella seems like the most boring man in the world, but maybe he’ll summon some personality for the presentation. I’ve got to think that Tom Hanks would have been a better choice for it, but Hanks seems to be the only celebrity not attending.
And guess who’s Miss Golden Globe this year? Rumer Willis! She was supposed to be Miss Golden Globe last year, so I guess they didn’t feel like finding someone new. Traditionally, the position goes to some semi-prominent daughter of Hollywood. Melanie Griffith was a Miss Golden Globe when she was younger, and a few years ago it was Jack Nicholson’s daughter. The job entails shepherding the presenters and winners off the stage quickly.
E! will be doing a countdown show from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., then the formal red carpet arrival show starting at six. There are some murmurings that Fox News and MSNBC will also be doing some live red carpet coverage, probably depending on whether there’s any actual breaking news in the world.
Who are you hoping wins??
