Brad Pitt In Negotiations To Play Moriarty “Sherlock Holmes” Sequel

Brad Pitt is in discussions with the producers of Sherlock Holmes to star in a sequel to the Guy Ritchie-directed blockbuster.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor has been tapped to star as Holmes’ arch nemesis Professor Moriarty in a follow-up to the upcoming film. In August, it was reported that Pitt would play the role in the first movie, though Warner denied the rumor.

Sherlock Holmes stars Robert Downey Jr. as the famous detective, Jude Law as his devoted sidekick Watson, and Rachel McAdams as Holmes’s love interest Irene Adler.

Sherlock Holmes opens in theaters Christmas Day.

"Sherlock Holmes" Movie Trailer

The first trailer for Guy Ritchie’s big screen adaptation of Sherlock Holmes – starring Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, and Rachel McAdams — made its online debut on Monday.

Let’s take a look at the plotline we can look forward to in this winter blockbuster:

In a dynamic new portrayal of Arthur Conan Doyle’s most famous characters, “Sherlock Holmes” sends Holmes and his stalwart partner Watson on their latest challenge. Revealing fighting skills as lethal as his legendary intellect, Holmes will battle as never before to bring down a new nemesis and unravel a deadly plot that could destroy the country.

Sherlock Holmes will be released through Warner Bros. Pictures on November 20, 2009.

Everyone can have a sigh of relief Ryan Goslingand Rachel McAdam’s are definitely back on!!

This picture was taken Thursday in Toronto at Restaurant Grace.  The two were very sweet towards each other- this is one couple I am very glad to see back together!

Ryan said in an interview after their breakup that girls would come up to him on the street and yell at him for breaking up with her, They would say things like How could you let her go?!

Well, apparently he couldn’t!

If you saw The Notebook (and I know you did) then you will be happy to hear the on-screen lovers Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams are rumored to be back together.

At the moment, both McAdams & Gosling who are Canadian are bunkering down together in Toronto.

I for one hope this rumor is true. They were such a great couple!
