Linda Hogan Responds To Hulks OJ Simpson Empathizing Interview

Linda Hogan is responding to comments her estranged husband, former wrestling star Hulk Hogan, made in an article with Rolling Stone this week.
In the interview, on newsstands Friday, Hulk is quoted as saying, “I could’ve turned everything into a crime scene, like O.J., cutting everybody’s throat. You see a 19-year-old boy driving your Escalade, sleeping in your bed, with your wife. I mean, I totally understand O.J.”
The former family man later released a statement insisting his comments were taken out of context.
“Hulk’s serial cheating destroyed our marriage, our family and our future. Sadly, his recent comments remind us that his definition of fair is much different than what the law dictates,” Linda said in response to the controversy Wednesday evening.
A rep for Linda says that the family is “taking these recent comments seriously,” adding that the mother of two is using Hulk’s recent comments as futher evidence that the wrestling legend truly is the psycho she always believed he was.
“We have always maintained that the fear that Linda has had to live with comes from the rage and instability much too often associated with pro wrestlers.”

Hulk Hogan Starts Damage Control On OJ Simpson Statement

Hulk Hogan wants to clarify controversial remarks he made in this week’s edition of Rolling Stone, on newsstands Friday, April 17.
While discussing his bitter divorce from wife of 24 years Linda, the wrestling legend told Stone reporters that he could have turned Linda’s life into a “crime scene,” adding “I totally understand O.J.”
Hogan now says his statements were taken out of context.
“Hulk in no way condones the OJ situation. As part of a larger conversation, he referred to it to exemplify his frustration with his own situation,” the athlete’s rep said a statment to the press this afternoon.
Um….we’re not sure that helps, Hulk.

Kanye West Puts His Foot Back In His Mouth… Tsk Tsk Kanye

Kanye West is known for saying things that get him in trouble. I don’t think he actually lacks that self-censoring device most of us have in our brains, he just continually chooses to ignore his. And I will give him credit – he gets a lot of attention for it, and that’s got to be good for his career. But some unfortunate stuff slips out of his mouth on occasion. And by “on occasion,” I mean more often than not.
During a February 13th taping of VH1’s “Storytellers,” Kanye talked about a feud with Radiohead, made supportive statements about Chris Brown… and even O.J. Simpson. Whoops.
Hip-hop star Kanye West trashed Radiohead and said the public should give Chris Brown “a break,” during a recent taping of VH1’s “Storytellers.” But the comments will not make it to air when the episode premieres on the lifestyle cable network on Saturday.
The taping, which took place on February 13 at Sony Studios in Los Angeles, lasted three hours. The show’s producers cut it to 90 minutes, after getting network approval to expand the episode from its usual one hour. The idea behind “Storytellers” is that VH1 encourages the artist “to just keep talking,” and producers in turn will “eliminate any ‘gotcha’ moments” that don’t work, Flanagan said.
During the taping, according to a Reuters reporter, West was aggrieved that Radiohead singer Thom Yorke had allegedly snubbed him backstage at the Grammys five days earlier. That hurt, West told the audience, because he idolizes the British band, and considers it one of his few creative rivals. “So when he performed at the Grammys, I sat the f— down,” West said.
A little later, West asked the crowd, “Can’t we give Chris a break? … I know I make mistakes in life.” He was referring to R&B singer Chris Brown, who was arrested on the night of the Grammys on suspicion of beating his girlfriend Rihanna.
In the same context, West earned loud applause with his declaration: “Michael Jackson, amazing. Michael Phelps, amazing … He’s a real f—in’ person; he makes mistakes,” referring to the champion swimmer’s recent bong pipe brouhaha.
VH1 has cleaned up those comments a bit, and it also included West’s less-popular follow-up observation: “O.J. Simpson, amazing. Is he not? What he did, when he did, what he did. Was he not amazing though?”

Um… um… don’t know how to respond without getting into all sorts of trouble. First: no we cannot give Chris Brown a break. He doesn’t deserve or need one. In fact, on February 10th – just three days before Kanye filmed the “Storytellers” piece, he said, “I was completely devastated by the concept of what I heard,” and “All I want to say is, it’s so devastating. Just as a person, I don’t care how famous she is or even if she just worked at McDonald’s … [abuse] should never happen. It should never come to that place.” That was fairly carefully worded for Kanye, and I was a little surprised by it at the time. He’s known for taking a very forceful position with his opinions. Now I guess we know why.
And O.J. Simpson – really? You really want people to nod along while you call him amazing? Obviously Kanye was talking about his football career, but you can’t separate his career from his crimes when you talk about him anymore. They were so heinous and so divided the country. Kanye can’t expect people to agree when he calls O.J. amazing. Even for him, I can’t imagine how he thought he’d get away with that comment.

OJ Simpson Gets Sentenced 15 Years For Armed Robbery & Kidnapping!

O.J. Simpson was sentenced this morning to 15 years in prison for his role in an armed robbery at Palace Station. Simpson, 61, and co-defendant Clarence “C.J.” Stewart, 54, were convicted in October of all counts for their roles in last year’s holdup of two sports memorabilia dealers.
O.J. Simpson’s co-defendant Clarence “C.J.” Stewart asked the court this morning for mercy, saying he previously had not been convicted of any crimes and had successfully raised his children, but that his life was now ruined.
“I pray that this court will sentence me with mercy,” he said.
O.J. Simpson told the judge and a packed courtroom this morning, “This was the first time I had a chance to catch red-handed the people who were stealing from my family … I didn’t mean to hurt anybody and I didn’t mean to steal anything from anybody.” Simpson also apologized to everyone involved.

Former Lawyer himself Jeraldo Rivera said that OJ will most likely get paroled after serving 6-8 years of his 15 year sentence.
While it’s not the life in prison sentence many had hoped to hear- atleast he will be doing some hard time!!

O.J. Simpson Finally Found GUILTY!!!!!

Even though its not the verdict we wish we had heard years ago when he stood trial for the brutal stabbing deaths of his then ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, I’m happy to hear it none-the-less.
O.J.’s verdict came late last night after the jury deliberating found O.J. guilty on all 12 counts he was charged with.- Here is an interesting fact, O.J. was found guilty 13 years to the day of his acquittal from the murders of Nicole and Ron.
Eerie right? That’s like poetic justice- I really feel that it was a terrible terrible injustice that O.J. was not found guilty 13 years ago- butat least today at 61 there is a chance he will go to jail for the rest of his life- O.J. will be sentenced Dec. 5th, and I really hope the judge throws the book at him.
The jury of nine men and three women, none of them African-American, began deliberations Friday after hearing from 22 witnesses over 12 days of testimony. Chief among the witnesses were seven of the nine people inside Room 1203 of the Palace Station Hotel and Casino for the September 13, 2007 confrontation.
The evidence included testimony from the two dealers, four co-defendants who cut plea deals and cooperated with prosecutors and hours of often-profane, crackling, secretly recorded audiotapes.
Prosecutors alleged that the men, led by Simpson, burst into the room, flashed a gun and threatened memorabilia dealers Bruce Fromong and Al Beardsley.
The men then filled two pillowcases with Simpson trinkets, signed Pete Rose baseballs and Joe Montana lithographs. Simpson’s defense attorneys maintained their client was merely trying to retrieve personal photographs and other mementos that belonged to him.

You have to love the Judge in this case too- Attorneys for Simpson asked if he could be released pending sentencing, Judge Glass quickly denied. Then O.J.’s attorneys announced their intention to appeal the verdicts, asking Judge Glass for an extension on the deadline for filing the appeal, which he also denied!

OJ Finally Gets Beat-Down By A Woman!!!

Unfortunately for OJ that Woman was 39 year old Arnelle Simpson- his own daughter!!
THE NATIONAL ENQUIRER exclusively reports O.J. Simpson’s daughter went berserk, attacking both him and his girlfriend!
Cops sped to the home of the disgraced footballer and Naked Gun star on Aug. 24 after he was attacked by eldest daughter Arnelle, 39.
“He was cut on the back of his head, blood was coming out the side of his mouth and his lip was cut,” a source told THE ENQUIRER.
O.J. and Arnelle had a war of words about how her mom, Marquerite, O.J.’s first wife has to work at Walmart just to make ends meet because O.J. gives her no money — but does support current girlfriend Christie Prody.
As tension mounted, Arnelle lashed out at OJ for ditching Marquerite, his high school sweetheart, to marry Nicole Brown whom Simpson was later acquitted of charges of Nicole’s murder in 1994.
In a rage, Arnelle shoved O.J. violently into a glass cupboard in the kitchen.
“O.J. hit the cupboard hard and the glass shattered all over him. He fell to the floor, bleeding,” said the source.
Arnelle, in a moment of guilt, dialed 911 but panicking, hung up.
Despite that, police cars were dispatched to O.J.’s house in Kendall, Fla., near Miami, after the call was tracked to his address.
According to the police report, Simpson told cops he didn’t want to file assault charges against his own daughter.
