Michelle Williams ‘Vogue’ Interview October 2009 Issue
Posted on 16. Sep, 2009 by CSS.

Single mom Michelle Williams is struggling to find true love and a balance with the paparazzi following the death of her ex-boyfriend Heath Ledger.
The Brokeback Mountain star had split from the Australian actor months before he died from an accidental drug overdose in January 2008, but has a tough time trying to find a love to replace Ledger’s.

Michelle briefly dated director Spike Jonze earlier this year, a relationship she confirmed has now ended.
“The timing was impossible. I thought falling in love again was the only thing that was going to save me from the pain. This [was an] erroneous idea: It just makes things more complicated,” Michelle says in a new interview for Vogue’s October 2009 issue.

The 29-year-old former Dawson’s Creek star admits she doesn’t know how to date with a child, but she’s OK with that.
“I’m falling more and more in love with her,” she says of her 3-year-old daughter Matilda. “Every time I really miss him and wonder where he’s gone, I just look at her (Matilda).”
“And I think she deserves the bulk of my attention. We’re lucky. I can work. She can go to a good school. There’s a lot there for her. And she can know her dad in so many ways, and so many of his friends who will be able to tell her so many stories. His friends, his family — they were a big part of his life, and they will be a big part of her life.”
Michelle revealed that Heath’s death in January last year brought a heavier paparazzi presence into their quiet existence in trendy Brooklyn.
Michelle has an interesting way of explaining the constantly roving cameras to her young Matilda.
“It’s because people really loved your daddy that they want to take your picture, to know you’re all right….”

Spike Jonze To Marry Michelle Williams
Posted on 28. Apr, 2009 by CSS.

Michelle Williams will wed director Spike Jonze before the end of the year, celebrity insiders claim.
“They’re in love and absolutely thrilled with each other,” a source told Star. “They don’t see why they should wait much longer.”
Spike and Michelle met on the set of her latest project, Synecdoche, last October. In the months since their first meeting, the Where The Wild Things Are director –the former husband of Sofia Coppola — has not only won over Williams, but he’s a big hit with her young daughter Matilda as well.
“Spike loves being with Matilda,” the source added. “He’s teaching her to skateboard and to ride a bike. He never makes Michelle feel like taking care of her is a burden, because he truly thinks of them all as a family.”
So happy for the couple-I think they are a really great fit for eachother!

Destinys Child Reunion A Go
Posted on 01. Apr, 2009 by CSS.

Destiny’s Child–the now defunct R&B group is set to reunite to record one final album, according to PerezHilton.com.
“They still have another album they owe their label, Columbia Records, on their contract,” a source told the site on Wednesday.
The Grammy-winning group, comprised of Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams, split in 2005.
All three divas have gone on to release their own material as solo artists, but none have reached the commercial and crossover appeal of Knowles. The news comes at the perfect time for member Kelly Rowland, who was dropped from her career-long label home at Columbia Records last week.
Destiny’s Child’s last album , Destiny Fulfilled, was released in 2004.
This is not exactly new news- this group along with others face the same issue. Even NSYNC still owes their label more albums. It’s just a matter of when they will come together and do it. The same story broke out about a year ago over Destiny’s Child and they still have yet to put out that album..

Michelle Williams Speaks About Not Raising Matilda In Hollywood
Posted on 24. Feb, 2009 by CSS.
Michelle Williams will not raise her daughter with the late Heath Ledger, in entertainment driven Hollywood.
“I wouldn’t raise [Matilda] there. For all the obvious reasons – being the daughter of… Being an actor’s daughter. It’s a town that’s about one thing and I want her to have options,” Michelle told Britain’s Telegraph over the weekend.
The actress is currently promoting the UK release of her independent film, Wendy and Lucy.
“I felt burnt out, I still feel that, but I’m coming back to my wits, little by little,” she said. “Ultimately I am not yet ready to work. I’ve actually really been enjoying not working… I guess everybody enjoys that.”

Michelle Williams Talks About Heath Ledger.
Posted on 27. Nov, 2008 by CSS.

It’s been 10 months since Heath Ledger’s tragic death. And, obviously, Michelle Williams is still reeling.
In fact, during a recent interview with Newsweek, the actress – mother of Ledger’s three-year-old daughter, Matilda – burst into tears at the mere mention of his name. “It’s so sad,” the 28-year-old told the magazine of Ledger’s death – ruled an accidental overdose of prescription drugs – in late January.
How is she holding up? “I guess it’s always changing,” she said. “What else can I say? I just wake up each day in a slightly different place – grief is like a moving river.”
Although the two Brokeback Mountain stars had split before Ledger’s death, they shared custody of their daughter Matilda and remained very close. “It’s a strange thing to say, because I’m at heart an optimistic person, but I would say in some ways it just gets worse,” she said of her grief. “It’s just that the more time that passes, the more you miss someone. In some ways it gets worse. That’s what I would say.”
-Quotes From Newsweek
I can only imagine that as Matilda gets older the pain of Heath not being here anymore will be even worse.
