‘Friends’ Cast Updates: Lisa Kudrow Guest Role On ‘Cougar Town’ Matt LeBlanc & Matthew Perry Headed Back To Television
Posted on 27. Oct, 2009 by CSS.

The cast of Friends thankfully refuses to go away. Despite spending a million years on NBC’s hit Thursday night comedy before saying farewell in 2004, the show’s signature cast continues popping up on our TV screens — and it appears they’ve got more mini-reunions left in ‘em.
Lisa Kudrow, ex-Phoebe, has signed on to guest star alongside Busy Phillips and former Friend Courteney Cox on the ABC comedy Cougar Town, an ABC spokesperson confirmed on Tuesday.
“If it all works out, she’ll play a dermatologist that my character can’t stop going to even though the doctor is mean to me,” Courteney says of the guest spot, which is expected to air early next year. “She’s the best in town at what she does and I become addicted.”
The pairing of Lisa and Courteney will be the second time the two have reunited for a project in recent months. In June, Courteney played the part of a psychic on Lisa’s Internet series, “Web Therapy.”
I will definitely tune in for this episode. I love all the cast members from Friends and I can’t wait to see Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc’s upcoming return to television.
Perry’s new show will appear on ABC and is an unnamed comedy he conceived, will co-write and star in. He’ll play a C-list sports arena manager doing some mid-life soul-searching sparked by his 40th birthday.
LeBlanc is set to star in Episodes- where he will be playing a spoof of himself. The series will air on Showtime.

‘Friends’ Cast To Reunite For Movie
Posted on 05. Oct, 2009 by CSS.

The cast of Friends is reuniting to bring one of television’s biggest hits of the ’90s to the big screen, according to former series star James Michael Tyler.
The sitcom ended in 2004 after 10 seasons, and now the show’s six core cast members – David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and Matthew Perry – are planning on starring in a film adaptation of the show that made them stars, according to Tyler, who played Central Perk employee Gunther on the series.
“Friends: The Movie is definitely on. I still keep in touch with a lot of the cast and they say that they are really keen. I am definitely on board to do the film,” Tyler told Britain’s News Of The World back in September. “I really loved my time on the show and I am looking forward to meeting up with the old gang again. I just hope we can do justice to the show in a film.”
The show’s original creators, David Crane and Marta Kauffman, have reportedly been drafted in to write and produce the movie, a second source tells the publication.
“Everyone knew the story had to be right and well written. Getting the creators on board was a massive step forward for the project. The show did lose a lot of its shine in the last few seasons, but with the actors all in the forties it would be a real interest to see how their characters have developed.”
Friends: The Movie is set to hit theaters in the Summer 2011. I am a huge Friends fan so this news is super exciting, however, I’m a little cautious to fully believe it until I hear some of the major players confirming this.

'Bandslam' Official Trailer:

Wow… this movie looks like it should have opened on the Disney Chanel…. Granted I’m in my mid twenties and this movie is geared towards a whole different generation- it still looked super lame!! I felt bad for Lisa Kudrow when I saw her pop on screen! Atleast she has 3 other good movies coming out this year to help redeem her! She stars along side Ryan Reynolds in Paperman, then with Natalie Portman in Love & Other Impossible Pursuits, and finally she stars in a comedy with John Michael Higgins, Dirty Girl!

Lisa Kudrow Traces Her Family Tree On TV.
Posted on 03. Jan, 2009 by CSS.
In the upcoming ‘NBC’ show Who Do You Think You Are, actress Lisa Kudrow traces her family tree and discovers relatives who died in the Holocaust.
The 46 year-old Friends star is making her US TV comeback by both producing and appearing in the show, which is based on the BBC version.
Kudrow explained the show’s premise to Parade magazine:
“They (the producers) chose six people, all celebrities… and they trace our family trees and film us against those actual backgrounds.”
About her own very moving experience, Kudrow added:
“They took me back to Belarus to find a cousin who survived the Holocaust but is dead now… It was not a vacation.”
The show — an adaptation of the UK series — is expected to air in the spring.
Should be interesting- I am wondering who the other celebrities involved are…
