Lindsay Lohan Dropped Being Dropped From Record Label, And Reportedly Working For Clothes

Is Lindsay Lohan’s career in fashion a labor of love? Earlier this month, Lindsay earned the position as an artistic advisor to fashion house Emanuel Ungaro — an honor later dimmed by poor reviews of her first collection for the line with designer Estrella Archs at Paris Spring/Summer 2010 Fashion Week.
But according to FOX News, free clothes may be Lindsay’s only payment for the prestigious gig.
“Ungaro is not paying her at all to be a consultant for them,” a source reportedly close to Lindsay told FOX’s 411 Blog on Friday. “Her team is working to get Lindsay some form of payment from the fashion house, but right now they will only give her free clothes.”
However, in an interview with Times of London on Sunday, Emanuel Ungaro CEO Mounir Moufarrige insisted Linds is being paid “quite enough” for her new position.
“It’s expensive,” he said.
A second source claims recording has been suspended on the star’s long-delayed third album.
“Casablanca [Records] has suspended all further recording sessions of her album and put their working relationship with her on hold,” the tattling tipster told FOX. “Lindsay was committed to making music and has been working on it for 16 months. She is going to go what she can to keep her music career going.”

Michael Lohan Ready To Name Lindsay Lohan’s Drug Dealer

Lindsay Lohan’s father claims he can identify the person selling the star drugs.
Michael Lohan – who has alleged his actress daughter is addicted to prescription drugs – believes the ‘Mean Girls’ star is being targeted by a man who is aware of her reliance on legal substances.
“This guy follows Lindsay all over the place. All over. Lindsay pays for him to go everywhere. He has no job. He does nothing. All he does is supply everyone in Los Angeles,” Michael — who has a history of drug abuse himself — revealed in an interview with RadarOnline Wednesday.
The born-again Christian has vowed to help Lindsay beat her addiction, telling Radar: “I’m going to get her off the prescription drugs that she’s on. I hate it when people talk about illegal drug abuse because it’s not just drinking and illegal drugs that kill you,” he added.
“Prescription drugs can destroy and kill a person and are sometimes harder to stop. Look at Heath Ledger and Michael Jackson.”
Although he refused to say what medications his 22-year-old daughter is taking, he admitted her addiction has taken over her life.

Dina Lohan Now A Shoe Designer “Shoe-Han”

Heaven help us, Dina Lohan is a designer….
Looks like Lindsay isn’t the only Lohan earning her meal ticket on the runway these days. Just days after the 23-year-old actress introduced her inaugural collection as Ungaro’s artistic advisor, stage mom Dina Lohan has announced that she will be launching a collection of shoes — christened “Shoe-Han” — for Long Island based chain LoveMyShoes.com.
Dina will serve as national spokesmodel for the retailer in a series of television and radio promos, premiering next month. Dina’s “Shoe-Han” is due in stores just in time for Mother’s Day 2010.

Michael Lohan Confirms Lindsay Lohan’s Prescription Drug Problem

Lindsay Lohan’s outspoken father has accused the former child star of harboring a secret addiction to prescription drugs.
This should be good…
The former Disney Golden Girl already has two rehab stints to her name and Michael Lohan says he’s terrified LiLo will suffer the same fate as Michael Jackson and Heath Ledger, who died of drug overdoses.
In an interview with RadarOnline.com, the elder Lohan claims the star is a bonafide addict.
“I’m going to get her off the prescription drugs that she’s on. I hate it when people talk about illegal drug abuse… because it’s not just drinking and illegal drugs that kill you. Prescription drugs can destroy and kill a person and are sometimes harder to stop. Look at Heath Ledger and Michael Jackson,” Michael told Radar.
“You know why Lindsay’s not acting in feature films right now? Because she can’t. Because the girl with all the talent is hidden and buried deep inside this fungus that’s grown because of the prescription drugs. She can’t be herself. When you hug her she’s like, vacant inside. When she kisses or holds me I get chills, and not in a good way – in a bad way,” he adds.
“She’s a different person. I was out there for a week when she was living at the Sunset Marquis Hotel and I would sit there and cry. It was horrible. This was not the kid I raised.”
If Lindsay doesn’t get it together soon her father’s worst fear would likely come true… it’s obvious she needs major help!

Lindsay Lohan Looks Cracked Out At Paris Fashion Week 2009

So was Lindsay Lohan’s debut as the creative director of French fashion line Ungaro a fashion hit or miss?
If the word of industry journalist is to be believed- the show was a royal flub!
The fashion gurus at Women’s Wear Daily panned the line’s Spring/Summer 2010 presentation at Paris Fashion Week on Sunday, blasting the new collection comprised largely of barely-there dresses, plunging necklines, and an obsession with all things pink.
“The collection displayed none of the promised younger side Lohan was supposed to deliver.” WWD speficially criticized Lindsay’s “nonskilled” influence on the collection designer, Estrella Archs, 35. “Being a young, pretty, controversial woman who looks good in clothes and photo ops just isn’t enough.”
The Guardian expressed a similar sentiment: “She may not have cut patterns or pinned toiles, but her influence could be seen throughout this collection. Whether this is a good thing is very much open to debate: there were dresses in the collection that one could all too easily believe to have been created by a designer with no experience or training.”
The Kansas City Star dubbed the fleeting line Pasties ‘R Us, writing: “Lohan and Archs held hands and hugged each other as they took to the podium for a post-show bow, drawing a mostly tepid round of applause from the skeptical crowd of fashion journalists and editors…”

Celebrity spinner Samantha Ronson will appear on an upcoming episode of The CW’s Beverly Hills, 90210.
Ronson, the on-again/off-again girlfriend of actress Lindsay Lohan, recently filmed an episode for the second season of teen drama that is scheduled to air on Nov. 3, PEOPLE reported on Wednesday.
Ronson’s scenes take place in a club where hip-hop star Pharrell and his group N.E.R.D. also perform.

Lindsay Lohan’s new gig as “muse” of Ungaro is to give the Paris fashion house a “cooler look”, the head of the luxury firm said Wednesday. But LiLo was anything but cool, calm, and collected at the G-Star runway show at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York on Tuesday night.
“Lindsay decided she wasn’t happy with the seating arrangements. She began taking the seating cards for celebrities like Juliette Lewis and Christian Siriano and moving them or throwing them on the floor,” a spywitness says. “Even young Taylor Momsen’s place card got chucked. When event organizers approached her, Lindsay snarled, “Don’t [bleep]ing touch me..”

Lindsay Lohan New Style Consultant For Emanuel Ungaro

Lindsay Lohan has landed a top job in the fashion industry. Despite controversy from company bosses, the 23-year-old actress has been named a style consultant for French fashion house Emanuel Ungaro.
Lindsay’s appointment as an advisor for the brand comes shortly after CEO Mounir Moufarrige replaced the label’s top designer, Esteban Cortazar, who was reportedly furious about having the troubled star attached to the luxury brand.
“To be in a position where I’m working with a fashion house in Paris sets it apart from every other celebrity brand,” Lindsay said in a statement to Women’s Wear Daily on Wednesday.
For her first assignment, Lindsay will collaborate with the label’s newly-appointed chief designer Estrella Archs to put together looks for the 2010 spring/summer collection, which debut during Paris Fashion Week
in the City of Lights next month.
“Twenty-first century muses are extroverts whose personal style and experience gives them a strong creative and artistic focus. Thus was our vision of combining the eye of a fashion creator with the eye of the ultimate luxury consumer, a celebrity,” says Mounir Moufarrige, President of Emanuel Ungaro worldwide, in a statement. “Mr. Ungaro’s success was based on his genius for design and his controversial eye to whom his consumer was. Lindsay is a world consumer with a clear eye for fashion.”

With rumors rampant that Lindsay’s finances are in the toilet, producers have sweetened the pot with promises of a $250,000 check if the not-so-reformed party girl will agree to appear on the show.
“Most people who go on the show are in need of a healthy pay check and also want to raise their careers from the dead. Lindsay is perfect fodder for the show.”

Lindsay Lohan Doesn't Show For Her Own Promo Event For Her Fake Tan Line: Sevin Nyne

Lindsay Lohan left bosses at Britain’s upscale department store Selfridges in a bit of tizz after pulling out of a launch for her new fake tan line at their famous London store.
According to The People, on Thursday, LiLo failed to appear at a promotional event for her Sevin Nyne brand of tanning lotion bronzing lotions.
Selfridges is threatening to remove the line from their shelves, sources tell the paper.
“Everyone was really excited about Lindsay coming over to cut the ribbon but she didn’t. She didn’t have an excuse, she just didn’t want to come. The bosses were furious, now they want to shelve the range.”
Bad business etiquette Ms. Lohan…
