Leonardo DiCaprio and Angelina Jolie are in talks to play the monarchs of The Gucci Family in director Ridley Scott’s new film about the fashion dynasty.

Jolie is slated to play Patrizia Reggiano, the ex-wife of Maurizio Gucci, who was sentenced to 29 years in prison for masterminding the murder-for-hire plot that killed the fashion guru in 1995, according to Thursday’s Variety.

Things are getting sexy in “The City” for MTV reality star Whitney Port. Lauren Conrad’s former right-hand woman has reportedly been secretly dating silver screen hunk Leonardo DiCaprio, 34, for several weeks, Big Apple tattles have revealed to Star.

“They met at an NYC party and he flirted with her like crazy, then asked for her phone number,” says a Whit pal, who asked not to be identified. “She didn’t think it was a big deal because she heard he does that with a lot of girls.”

According to a report in the tabloid’s Oct. 26 issue, the Manhattan-based Whitney has been racking up the Frequent Flyer Miles with several recent trips back to her hometown of Los Angeles, where she’s been busy making clandestine visits to Leo. Their official first date was at the Oscar-nominated actor’s lavish mansion in the Hollywood Hills.

“When Leo started calling her, she thought he was just being friendly, but he called and called,”
the Star insider dishes. “He was very sweet to her. He told her how beautiful she is, how much he wanted to go out with her….He’s treating her very well, and of course it’s exciting that he’s such a huge star.”

Whitney, 24, previously dated E! personality Ben Lyons, rocker Jay Lyon, and most recently actor Ben Buckley-but she’s very overwhelmed by all the attention she’s getting from the Titanic star — formerly romantically linked to catwalk stunners Gisele Bundchen and Bar Rafaeli.

“She’s really clicked with him, but she’s taking it very slowly. She doesn’t want to be just another notch on Leo’s bedpost.”

Will Smith has been named the “Most Bankable Star in Hollywood” in Forbes Magazine’s 2009 ranking of Star Currency.

The stars were ranked on ability to attract financing for a project, box office success, and appeal to different audience demographics–among other similar factors.

The financial magazine surveyed more than 150 entertainment industry professionals, including producers and directors.

“[Will] can move from doing the pop film to an Ali to a Seven Pounds to The Pursuit of Happyness, so he’s able to play in all worlds,” said John Burman, special projects director for Forbes Media. “I think people just like watching him on screen.”

“Will Smith stands alone as the only actor to score a perfect 10 among industry voters in the Star Currency survey. He has shown, time and again, that, in today’s world, regardless of the material, people want to watch Will Smith,” said Ashok Amritraj, chairman and CEO of Hyde Park Entertainment. “He is cross-genre and proved it multiple times,” Amritraj added.

The Top 10 “Bankable Hollywood Stars” are:

1. Will Smith
2. Johnny Depp
3. Leonardo DiCaprio
4. Angelina Jolie
5. Brad Pitt
6. Tom Hanks
7. George Clooney
8. Denzel Washington
9. Matt Damon
10. Jack Nicholson
