The Teens Have Voted Miley Cyrus ‘Worst Celebrity Influence of 2009′
Posted on 29. Oct, 2009 by CSS.

Apparently, pole-dancing and nude photo scandals don’t go over very well with America’s teens. Who knew?
Miley Cyrus’ once squeaky-clean image has taken another public beating; one of Disney’s hottest stars has been voted the worst celebrity influence of 2009 by the very people who made her a star, tweens and teens, according to an online poll on Wednesday.
The 16-year-old starlet took 42 percent of votes in the poll for AOL’s new JSYK.com (Just So You Know) website aimed at 9-15 year-olds. Miley’s crowning pushed Comeback Queen Britney Spears and controversial rapper Kanye West into second and third places, respectively, in a section on worst celebrity influences of the year.
Congrats Miley.

Madonna Gives ‘Glee’ The Rights To Her Songs
Posted on 23. Oct, 2009 by CSS.

Glee is getting into the groove with Madonna’s catalog! Madonna has given the smash FOX musical comedy the rights to her entire catalog of music and producers are planning an entire episode
dedicated to The Queen of Pop’s hits.
I sure hope they’ll do “Lucky Star.” I love that jam — nothing beats ’80s-era Madonna.
On Wednesday, Dianna Agron, who plays scheming pregnant cheerleader Quinn Fabray on the series, told the Los Angeles Times that she will be singing one of Madge’s classic jams on an episode airing later this year.
“There’s a Madonna song coming up in episode 10…You get this news that you’re gonna sing all these songs that you grew up listening to and it’s amazing!”
Glee has already featured the hits of some of the biggest stars in music today, including Rihanna, Amy Winehouse, and Kanye West.

Kanye West Public Apology “The Jay Leno Show”
Posted on 15. Sep, 2009 by CSS.

Kanye West publicly apologized for his behavior at Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards during an interview with Jay Leno on Monday night’s premiere episode of The Jay Leno Show on NBC.
While he was originally set to serve as just a musical guest – performing with Jay-Z and Rihanna — Kanye spoke to Jay for several minutes before taking the stage to talk about storming the VMA stage and upstaging Best Female Music Video winner Taylor Swift during the 19-year-old’s acceptance speech.
“It’s been extremely difficult, just dealing with the fact that I hurt [someone] or took anything away… from a talented artist, or from anyone because I only wanted to help people,” Kanye told Jay. “My entire life I’ve only wanted to give and do something that I felt was right and I immediately knew in this situation that it was wrong and it wasn’t a spectacle, it’s actually someone’s emotions… that I stepped on… It was rude, period. I’d like to be able to apologize to her in person.”
When asked by Jay when he realized he was wrong, Kanye replied: “Like as soon as I gave the mic back to her and she didn’t keep going.”
Jay then went on to bring up Kanye’s late mother, Dr. Donda West, during the interview, mentioning that he met her and asking the rapper what his mother would have said about her son’s behavior. Kanye struggled to find the words to answer the question and appeared to choke up. He also vowed to “take some time off” after his most public meltdown, saying: “After this, I need to just take some time off and analyze how I’m going to make it through the rest of this life, how I’m going to improve, because I am a celebrity and that’s just something I’m going to have to deal with.”

Kanye West Steals Taylor Swift’s Acceptance, Beyonce Knowles Gives Taylor Her Moment Back
Posted on 14. Sep, 2009 by CSS.
In case you needed further confirmation that Kanye West is a total asshat, here goes: The outspoken rapper interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video at MTV’s 2009 Video Music Awards to declare that Beyonce’s popular “Single Ladies” music video should have received the award instead.
“Beyonce had the best video,” he said, snatching the microphone from Swift.
A speechless Taylor, visibly shaken, left the stage following the outburst.
During the night Kanye got boo’ed by the audience on three separate occasions- Most comical was the first one where it seemed like Diddy almost wanted to make it known that Kanye was who the ‘boo’s’ were intended for.
Towards the end of the night when Beyonce took the award for Best Video of the Year-Beyonce welcomed Taylor out on stage to ‘have her moment’ that she deserved.
