Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have reportedly tied the knot, insiders spill to RadarOnline.com.
The couple – who celebrated the birth of their second child, son Sparrow James Midnight, last month – reportedly secretly wed in an intimate service on Wednesday, after obtaining a marriage license last week.
A spokesperson for the couple – who also have a 21-month-old daughter Harlow – has yet to comment on the reports.

It’s a boy for Joel and Nicole — and his name might remind you of a bird!
The socialite gave birth to Sparrow James Midnight Madden, early Wednesday, the couple announced in a statement on Nicole’s website this afternoon.
The healthy baby boy weighed in at 7lbs. 14oz.
“In the middle of night, the very early hours of September 9, 2009 Sparrow James Midnight Madden was born to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden,” a statement reads. “Nicole, Joel, Harlow and Sparrow are all doing well. Thank you for all of your good wishes.”
Sparrow joins big sis Harlow Winter Kate Madden, born in January 2008.

Joel Madden & Nicole Richie Created Eco-Friendly Nursery For Their Second Child

Eco-friendly couple Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have created a green haven for their unborn baby.
Joel and Nicole are building an environmentally-conscious nursery for their second baby in their new Los Angeles $2 million home.
“She fussed over every imaginable detail, right down to the type of cotton in the sheets and the linens to the type of paint used on the walls,” an informant close to the couple spilled to The National Enquirer this week.
“Every piece of furniture in the baby’s room is formaldehyde-free.”
The insider added: “She scoured stores and researched on the internet for weeks to find wood products that are made from reclaimed sustainable wood from the Brazilian rain forest.”
“Even the toys are an environmentalist’s dream. Nicole is a model mum and she’s determined to teach her kids to honor the earth.”
Joel and Nicole already have a 19-month-old daughter, Harlow Winter Kate. The new baby is due later this summer.

It’s hard to believe that Nicole Richie is the same girl who once struggled with a DUI arrest and an addiction to heroin.
These days, pals say Nic has completely turned her life around. Most recently, the expectant mama of two — who is expecting her second child this August — has “gone green,” adopting the environmental-friendly lifestyle that has become all the rage with health and nature-conscious fanatics around the Globe.
Nicole, 28, is insisting that her one-year-old daughter Harlow and BF Joel Madden consume only organic fruits and veggies. She’s even growing an organic vegetable garden in the expansive backyard of her Hollywood Hills home. Nicole also does all of the cooking for her family — which involves making lots of salads and veggie stir fry.
An expert on All Things Nicole tells the May 25 issue of The National Enquirer: “Now that she has another child on the way, Nicole is thinking more and more about the Earth and living a sustainable and clean lifestyle.”

It’s a boy for Joel Madden and Nicole Richie.
The couple, who are already the proud parents of the lovely Harlow Winter, are eagerly awaiting the arrival of a baby boy in August, a tipster reveals in the new issue of In Touch Weekly. Spywitnesses claim Nicole and Joel refer to the baby as “he” and have been stocking up on plushies and other pricey infant items adorned in blue.
“Joel bought water-based paint for the nursery and — surprise, surprise — it’s blue.”

British Airways Employee Disciplined After Joel Madden Tattoo Discrimination

A British Airways employee who forced Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden to cover up his numerous tattoos before boarding a plane has been disciplined by officials, who are livid about the international bad publicity the incident has caused.
Joel was outraged when the employee refused to allow him to board a flight from Chicago to London on Monday until he hid his ink from other passengers.
In a meesage on his Twitter.com page, the tatted-up Joel wrote: “Was just told by a british air (sic) person I can’t get on the plane till I cover my tatts.”
“I really actually am in shock.”
The rocker vowed to fight back: “yes i covered up to board the BA flight. I didn’t want to miss it. And honestly i was embarrrassed all the people were staring and laughing! its not in the rules that i can find.my tatts arent offensive.looking into it. i havent felt this small since the first time i asked nic out.”
“I still can’t believe Brit Air discriminated me for tatts. Unheard of. the guy was literally disgusted by me. I’m gonna write a letter!!”
British Airways bosses say they are just as baffled because there’s nothing in their rulebook about tattoos.
“British Airways does not have any policy against tattoos. We cannot comment on passenger details due to data protection,” a spokesman said.
A letter of apology to Joel would also be a good touch.

With the party season in full swing as Golden Globes weekend is upon us, the stars were out for The Art of Elysium’s 2nd Annual Heaven Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night (January 10).
Held at The Vibiana, the stylish black-tie affair saw Hollywood stars including Nicole Richie, Joel Madden, Kate Bosworth and Gerard Butler all take to the red carpet for the charitable cause.
The event was hosted by Rosetta Millington Getty and Ryan Kavanaugh, with other celebrities in attendance including Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Patricia Arquette, Sophia Bush, Kirsten Dunst, Melissa Joan Hart, Ali Larter, Jared Leto, Eva Mendes and many others.
Jennifer Howell, founder of the organization which seeks to enrich the lives of artists and critically ill children, told press, “The Art of Elysium exists because of the passion that artists hold in their hearts. By serving children in need, the artist is allowed to express this passion in ways that could never be revealed on stage, in a gallery or behind a camera.”

Rocker Joel Madden has hired legendary acting coach Howard Fine teach him everything there is to know about breaking into the film industry.
The Good Charlotte, 29, has set his sights on becoming a powerful source in the acting world, according to a new report Life & Style Magazine claims.
“Joel wanted to master the craft before attempting it professionally,” says an inside source. “He really wants his acting career to take off. He’s had small parts in a few films [including 2006’s "Material Girls"], but he has yet to be recognized as an actor.”
And at least one person is fiercely supportive of Joel’s acting asipirations.
“…Nicole [Richie] is really pushing Joel to pursue an acting career. She feels it will give him more time to spend with her and their daughter, Harlow, because he won’t have to tour all the time.”
