Jenny McCarthy Checks Boyfriend Jim Carey Out On-Line
Posted on 14. Jan, 2009 by CSS.
All of us check out celebrities online, but I constantly wonder if celebrities check out themselves or their friends/partners/hook-ups online. As we saw with John Mayer’s rants and most recently with Tina Fey’s Golden Globe acceptance speech, some celebrities do check up on the blogs and gossip sites. Jenny McCarthy is adding her name to the list. She admits to OK! that she reads up on her life partner on the internet, and they even check in with each other via webcam.
In his latest comedy Yes Man, Jim Carrey must say “yes” to every opportunity that comes across his path. In real life, the comedian, 47, has already said yes to a lifetime of love with girlfriend Jenny McCarthy, 36. While these two are happily content to stay unmarried, McCarthy tells OK! that Jim is truly the love of her life and credits him with helping her son, Evan, (who was diagnosed with Austism at 2) get better.
“Jim is a natural therapist,” she explains. “Evan had a lot of anxiety issues, and Jim would soothe his fears by letting him know that it was safe to try something new.”
The party of three seem pretty tight. So what do they do when Jim is away making movies? According to Jenny, she and her funnyman pick up right where they left off at home!
“We text about four times a day. And we talk about three times,” she reveals to OK!. “I go online and check him out. I tell him his outfit looks cute!”
Jenny says she and Jim also use a web cam from time to time!
“I haven’t done any dancing, but I make him do that!” she says. “It’s nice! With the iChat, we’re always afraid that there’s a third party watching! We’re a little bit careful, but it’s a great way to have that face connection!”
You’d think with two comedians in the house, life would be non-stop laughter, but Jenny says she and Jim are much more serious than people think.
“It’s not that we are that funny — like ‘ha, ha, ha,’ when we are with each other” she explains. “I think that’s because we have to do that so often — Jim now more than me. I’m a little more serious now with my work. We talk about real issues.”

Jim Carrey Gives Girlfriend Jenny McCarthy $50 Million Trust.
Posted on 02. Jan, 2009 by CSS.
In Hollywood, it seems like the biggest, nastiest fights are over money. Many Celebs go to great lengths to hold on to their slice of the pie at all costs. But not Jim Carrey.
In December 2005, Carrey met Jenny McCarthy, Playboy bunny-turned-autism activist. They’ve been together ever since. McCarthy has given numerous interviews about how Carrey is wonderful with her autistic son, and both Carrey and McCarthy have been very open about their relationship, even appearing together on Oprah. They’ve also talked about how they don’t have any plans to marry, but it’s always seemed like Carrey wouldn’t be opposed to it. Now, there’s further proof that this relationship is in for the long haul. Carrey has made a $50 million trust for McCarthy and her son.
Jim Carey has vowed to give his longtime girlfriend Jenny McCarthy a financially secure future - after reportedly setting up a $50 million (GBP35 million) trust fund for the actress despite insisting they will never marry.
The actor, 46, has earned an estimated $200 million (GBP140 million) with his blockbuster comedies - and is desperate to make sure 36-year-old McCarthy is set for life.
A source tells Star magazine, “He adores her and credits her with his better health and happier outlook on life. (He) wants her to have all the perks in life should anything happen to him.”

I think thats pretty awesome- to make that kind of gesture with no obligation-makes you think that all the good things you hear about Jenny are true… just one question- How did this story get leaked to the press?

‘Marley & Me’ Beats Out ‘The Curious Case Of Benjamin Buttons’ Christmas Day Box Office.
Posted on 28. Dec, 2008 by CSS.
Jennifer Aniston’s latest film, Marley & Me, beat out ex-husband Brad Pitt’s Oscar favorite, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, at the box office Thursday, scoring the all-time best Christmas Day opening, according to preliminary box office numbers.
The canine-centered romantic comedy, based on the bestselling novel about a loveable but incorrigible Lab Retriever, opened at all-time Christmas No. 1 with $14.75 million in ticket sales. The previous record was held by the 2002 film Ali, which earned $10.2 million.
Brad’s film The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button followed in second with $11.8 million. In at third was Adam Sandler’s new Disney comedy Bedtime Stories, which earned $10.4 million in sales, followed by Valkyrie starring Tom Cruise with $8.5 million. Jim Carrey’s Yes Man rounded out the top 5 with $5.9 million.
That’s pretty cool if you look at it- three movies broke a record Christmas Day! Even Though Jennifer & Owen Wilson came out on top, Brad and Adam should be happy with there box office earnings!

Jim Carey Talks Anti-Depressants On ‘Larry King Live’
Posted on 16. Dec, 2008 by CSS.

On Monday night’s Larry King Live, Jim Carrey pulled a Tom Cruise and went on the offensive against anti-depressants.
“You know at the risk of like opening up the whole Tom Cruise Prozac argument, you know, I don’t disagree in many ways,” the Entrevista star says. “I think Prozac and things like that are very valuable to people for short periods of time. But I believe if you’re on them for an extended period of time, you never get to the problem. You never get to see what the problem is, because everything is just kind of OK. And so, you don’t deal. And people deal when they get desperate.”
Jim treats his depression with “supplements.”
“Yes — well, it’s not — well, it is vitamins. But it’s also certain elements of the brain like Tyrosine and hydroxytryptophan that they’re treating depression with now. It is a natural substance that’s in your brain. Instead of being a Serotonin inhibitor, which just uses the serotonin you have and Prozac and things like that — it just uses the Serotonin you have and it doesn’t allow it go back into the receptor. It metabolizes your serotonin after a while and you have to keep taking more and more to feel good. This actually creates dopamine and creates serotonin. It’s a wonderful thing. It’s amazing. I’m going to talk a lot about it in the near future.”
I’d like to hear more of what Jim Carey has to say on this…I’m all for natural remedies but I need more info Mr. Carey.
