John Mayer isn’t the only Hollywood hound Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson have in common.
Jessica and Gerard Butler had a date at NYC’s Soho House Tuesday night, with friends including her hair stylist pal, Ken Paves, as chaperon’s, celebrity spies told New York Post’s Page Six Column on Thursday.
“They were at a table with friends, but Jessica and Gerard, who sat next to each other, seemed to only be interested in each other and chatted for hours….They were laughing and flirting and eventually left together, along with Ken.”

Jessica Simpson Splurges On $100,000 Speed Boat For Boyfriend Tony Romo

Jessica Simpson surprised boyfriend Tony Romo with a custom speedboat appraised at $100,000 when the Dallas Cowboys quarterback turned 29 last month.
Spies with The National Enquirer claim Tony, who celebrated his b-day on April 21, was stunned to receive the pricey gift from his loving girlfriend, who had the boat shipped to the Dallas estate where the couple live.
“Tony loves speed, and with all of the horsepower in his new boat, he can go as fast as anyone on the lake,” says a pal, who adds, “Jessica knows that Tony has always wanted a boat.”
The boat is described as a 25-foot Malibu Wakesetter, with 450 horsepower motor and a stereo system.
Tabloid insiders say Jessica is hoping her act of gratitude will be followed up with an engagement ring one day soon.
“Jessica is hoping that a birthday gift to Tony will lead to marriage, and by this time next year that she’ll be walking down the aisle with him.”

Slim, sleek, and back in her Daisy Dukes, Jessica Simpson rocked the house in front of a live audience at SeaWorld over the weekend — much to the chagrin of the folks at PETA.
It’s just too bad none of the fab staffers at the San Diego tourist hotspot bothered to tell Jess that killer whales are actually just “really big dolphins” — not sharks. Hasn’t she ever seen Free Willy?!
Following her Saturday afternoon performance, Jessica uploaded this photo on her Twitter page, accompanied by the following headline:
“Just overcame my fear of sharks by kissing a killer whale….”

You Call This Fat?!, Vanity Fair Magazine asks in its June 2009 cover story with country-crooning blondie Jessica Simpson.
If there’s anything to be said about Jess, it’s that she loves “her Cowboy,” also known as Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo.
In the issue, which hits newsstands in New York and Los Angeles on Wednesday and nationwide, May 12, Jess talks about being a Cowboys fan: “In Texas, it’s a sin not to be. But I’ve never been as passionate as I am now. Before a game, I’m crazed, sending mass e-mails: ‘Please pray for Tony’s protection.’”

Jessica Simpson Swimwear Miss USA Pageant 2009

Jessica Simpson’s bikinis will appear in the 2009 Miss USA competition on Sunday night.
The Jessica Simpson Swimwear Collection, which debuted nearly two years ago during 2007 Fashion Week in Miami, managed to land a deal as the annual beauty pageant’s swimwear sponsor this year.
This year’s contestants will glam it up in identical $104 white ‘n’ gold string bikinis during the swimsuit competition and $88 bright green string bikinis during the pre-pageant photoshoot in Las Vegas, specially designed by Jessica for the occasion.
Suits featured in the pageant will go up for sale at JessicaSimpsonCollection.com after the show.

Columbia Records Drops Jessica Simpson!!

It’s a done deal for Jessica Simpson’s recording career.
After months of forgotten lyrics, weight gain scandals, and disappointing live performances, Jessica Simpson, the once promising pop tart turned country-western trainwreck, has reportedly been axed from her contract with Columbia Records.
The singer’s name and information no longer appears on either the Columbia Nashville or Sony Music Nashville websites. Even Jessica’s artist page, featuring her bio and her music, is gone from the site.
And late Wednesday morning, OK! Magazine obtained the apparent confirmation the music world has been waiting for.
…..A telephone operator told us that Jessica Simpson has now “come off the label.”

Jessica Simpson Considering 'Dancing With The Stars'

Jessica Simpson’s prank as a Apple Mac Genius on CBS’s April Fools’ Day Special, I Get That A Lot, was so well-received by audiences that the fleeting country crooner is considering lacing up her dancing shoes
for the next season of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars.
After all, Jess hasn’t been a small screen series regular since the conclusion of the MTV reality series Newlyweds.
“Jessica’s fame skyrocketed when she was on ‘Newlyweds,’ and no other project has been the same runaway hit,” a friend of the singer blabbed in a statement to MSNBC this week. “She wants to be involved with something she’s really good at, and people love Jess when she’s just being herself. She never would have considered ‘Dancing With the Stars’ before, but she’s not ruling it out now.”
The pal added, “When she saw Jewel was going to do it, it made her look at the show in a different light.”
I think at this point she has nothing to lose and it could recharge her career. I watched her Wednesday night on I Get That Alot & I sincerely thought she did a great job!

Ashton Kutcher & Demi Moore PETA "Worst Dressed Stars of 2009" Poll

Hollywood power couple Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are on course to become PETA’s “Worst -Dressed Stars of 2009.”
In a new poll conducted by PETA.com, Demi currently leads a poll of the worst dressed celebrities in Hollywood.
“She may be a cougar, but that’s not helping fur-loving Demi Moore in the eyes of animal lovers,” the animal activist organization said on Thursday.
Demi’s prankster spouse, Ashton Kutcher, comes in a close second “after skulking around Sundance last month wearing a gigantic coat made of coyote fur.”
Madonna, Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan, Kanye West, Mary J. Blige, and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are among the stars who “have a penchant for pelts” on this year’s list.
Voting for this year’s Worst-Dressed list runs on PETA.com through March 2.

On The Early Show Wednesday, CBS correspondent Maggie Rodriguez spoke with Jessica Simpson about her recent photo controversy and new single as the pop-turned-singer prepared to announced the 2009 Academy of Country Music Awards, live from Nashville.
Here’s what Jess had to say: “Honestly, I am right where I’m supposed to be. I am so happy. Right now I’m on tour with Rascal Flatts having a blast. We’re at Madison Square Garden tomorrow. Everybody’s just been so warm and welcoming. Lots of hugs, I like that.”
“You look beautiful. I always think I wear the high heels…” Maggie told her.
“I take the cake,” Jessica replied.
“You look absolutely beautiful. Everything going okay? I know you’ve been through a lot lately.”
“Everything’s really great. It’s all about keeping the faith,” Jessica smiled.
