Jenny McCarthy & Jim Carrey’s Charity Generation Rescue Reaches Out To Young Woman Left With Dystonia Following Flu Shot
Posted on 25. Oct, 2009 by CSS.
An organization founded by Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey has reached out to a Washington Redskins cheerleader left disabled by a seasonal flu shot.
Doctors say Desiree Jennings suffers from a rare neurological disorder as a result a flu shot
she received earlier this year. The condition is called dystonia, and affects nearly every aspect of her daily life by prompting frequent seizures.
McCarthy’s 7-year-old son Evan is autistic. She founded Generation Rescue along with BF Jim to educate people about ways to reverse autism, including raising awareness over the safety of vaccines including flu shots.
“They have been extremely helpful,” Desiree says of Generation Rescue. “They have a lot of doctors that deal with vaccine interactions, and they have sent us so many other stories similar to mine. Unfortunately a lot of theirs are with children, which is worse. I can understand it happening to an adult, but not a little child that hasn’t had a chance to live their life and can’t speak, so I want to speak. They can’t, and I want to help them, too.”

Jim Carrey And Jenny McCarthy Commitment Ceremony
Posted on 16. Sep, 2009 by CSS.

Actor Jim Carrey and his longtime companion, former Playboy Playmate Jenny McCarthy, exchanged vows in a commitment ceremony in front of family and friends earlier this month.
Jim, 47, has been legally married twice, while at 36, Jenny has one trip down the aisle under her belt. Both have long claimed marriage would spoil their relationship. Instead, the couple, who have been dating since 2005, held a special commitment ceremony, during which they promised to be together forever.
Jim and Jenny pledged their love for each other in the Malibu ceremony, before jet-setting to Las Vegas for a mock honeymoon.
“The vows basically said that they would ‘be forever in love’ with one another and that they would always be together. For the two of them, it was as good as a marriage ceremony,” a tattle reveals in the Sept. 28 issue of The National Enquirer.
“They stayed at the Fantasy Tower in a luxury Sky Villa suite. When they weren’t kissing and cuddling, the two of them played Texas hold ‘em,” the source added. “He insists that he and Jenny are incredibly happy together, and they don’t want to jinx things by tying the knot. Jim says he doesn’t need a legal ceremony or a piece of paper, and Jenny feels the same.”

Jenny McCarthy Inks Television Deal With Oprah
Posted on 05. May, 2009 by CSS.

Jenny McCarthy is on course to join celebrity chef Rachael Ray and small screen shrink Dr. Phil as the next star in Oprah Winfrey’s media empire.
Jenny has inked a multi-year deal with Winfrey’s Harpo Productions to develop projects on different platforms, including a syndicated talk show that the actress/author would host, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Jenny, a former Playboy Playmate, burst into the pop culture scene in 1997 as the host of MTV’s dating show Singled Out. In recent years, she has become an outspoken proponent against childhood vaccinations. Jenny has regularly chatted with the Queen of Talk about her struggles with her son’s autism — in fact, Jenny has published several best-selling books on the subject, including Louder Than Words: A Mother’s Journey in Healing Autism and Mother Warriors: A Nation of Parents Healing Autism Against All Odds.
I would tune into to anything Jenny put on TV- I think she is fabulous! Can’t wait to hear more about this!

In an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Tuesday, actress/model Jenny McCarthy confessed that her stunning bikini-clad cover shot on the May 2009 issue of Shape Magazine was altered.
The former Playboy centerfold, who dons a red two-piece on the current issue of the fitness guide says, “It’s eating healthy and also a crap load of airbrushing… I keep myself in very good shape… but it is definitely a little touched up.”
“I have freckles… and stretchmarks that you do not see here, and they add a little shadowing to make these muscle things happen that don’t exist on my body.”
I love her honesty!

Jenny McCarthy 'Shape' May 2009
Posted on 29. Mar, 2009 by CSS.
Jenny McCarthy shows off her curves in a So De Mel bikini as Shape’s May 2009 cover girl.
The former Playboy Playmate may boast washboard abs and toned arms now, but Jenny tipped the scales at more than 200 lbs after giving birth to son Evan in 2002.
“I thought I might be 170 when I left the hospital, but no, I was 200!” the 5?6? Jenny tells Shape. “When my son, Evan, was born, I dialed back that whole sex-kitten thing.” She joined Weight Watchers in her battle against the bulk, a program she credits with teaching her “portion control and to be conscious of what I put in my mouth.”
Above all, Jenny, now 36, attributes her bikini-worthy bod to yoga. She swears by it. In fact, she’s even gotten boyfriend Jim Carrey interested in adding the ancient art into his regular workout.
“I give it six months before I find him twisted into a preztel!”
Jenny McCarthy’s interview with Shape May 2009 arrives on newsstands this Monday, March 30.

Ah-honesty, it’s so refreshing. Jenny McCarthy has confessed to her love for Botox, but insists she does not go overboard.
In the new issue of Michigan Avenue Magazine, the former Playboy model admits she swears by the Botox needle and sometimes uses the neurotoxic protein to prevent lines and wrinkles
from taking up residence on her famous face.
“I love Botox, I absolutely love it. I get it minimally, so I can still move my face. But I really do think it’s a savior.”

Jenny McCarthy Checks Boyfriend Jim Carey Out On-Line
Posted on 14. Jan, 2009 by CSS.
All of us check out celebrities online, but I constantly wonder if celebrities check out themselves or their friends/partners/hook-ups online. As we saw with John Mayer’s rants and most recently with Tina Fey’s Golden Globe acceptance speech, some celebrities do check up on the blogs and gossip sites. Jenny McCarthy is adding her name to the list. She admits to OK! that she reads up on her life partner on the internet, and they even check in with each other via webcam.
In his latest comedy Yes Man, Jim Carrey must say “yes” to every opportunity that comes across his path. In real life, the comedian, 47, has already said yes to a lifetime of love with girlfriend Jenny McCarthy, 36. While these two are happily content to stay unmarried, McCarthy tells OK! that Jim is truly the love of her life and credits him with helping her son, Evan, (who was diagnosed with Austism at 2) get better.
“Jim is a natural therapist,” she explains. “Evan had a lot of anxiety issues, and Jim would soothe his fears by letting him know that it was safe to try something new.”
The party of three seem pretty tight. So what do they do when Jim is away making movies? According to Jenny, she and her funnyman pick up right where they left off at home!
“We text about four times a day. And we talk about three times,” she reveals to OK!. “I go online and check him out. I tell him his outfit looks cute!”
Jenny says she and Jim also use a web cam from time to time!
“I haven’t done any dancing, but I make him do that!” she says. “It’s nice! With the iChat, we’re always afraid that there’s a third party watching! We’re a little bit careful, but it’s a great way to have that face connection!”
You’d think with two comedians in the house, life would be non-stop laughter, but Jenny says she and Jim are much more serious than people think.
“It’s not that we are that funny — like ‘ha, ha, ha,’ when we are with each other” she explains. “I think that’s because we have to do that so often — Jim now more than me. I’m a little more serious now with my work. We talk about real issues.”

Jim Carrey Gives Girlfriend Jenny McCarthy $50 Million Trust.
Posted on 02. Jan, 2009 by CSS.
In Hollywood, it seems like the biggest, nastiest fights are over money. Many Celebs go to great lengths to hold on to their slice of the pie at all costs. But not Jim Carrey.
In December 2005, Carrey met Jenny McCarthy, Playboy bunny-turned-autism activist. They’ve been together ever since. McCarthy has given numerous interviews about how Carrey is wonderful with her autistic son, and both Carrey and McCarthy have been very open about their relationship, even appearing together on Oprah. They’ve also talked about how they don’t have any plans to marry, but it’s always seemed like Carrey wouldn’t be opposed to it. Now, there’s further proof that this relationship is in for the long haul. Carrey has made a $50 million trust for McCarthy and her son.
Jim Carey has vowed to give his longtime girlfriend Jenny McCarthy a financially secure future – after reportedly setting up a $50 million (GBP35 million) trust fund for the actress despite insisting they will never marry.
The actor, 46, has earned an estimated $200 million (GBP140 million) with his blockbuster comedies – and is desperate to make sure 36-year-old McCarthy is set for life.
A source tells Star magazine, “He adores her and credits her with his better health and happier outlook on life. (He) wants her to have all the perks in life should anything happen to him.”

I think thats pretty awesome- to make that kind of gesture with no obligation-makes you think that all the good things you hear about Jenny are true… just one question- How did this story get leaked to the press?

Jenny McCarthy: Announces Dennis Leary is "Stupid"
Posted on 19. Oct, 2008 by CSS.
All for good reason, trust me the comment didn’t come without warrant- check it out:
Outspoken actress Jenny McCarthy has plenty to say to Denis Leary, who makes jokes about autism in his new book Why We Suck: A Feel-Good Guide to Staying Fat, Loud, Lazy and Stupid.
“Whoo! First of all, let me tell you, the autism community has received probably 10,000 emails [saying] ‘Go kill him!’ ‘Go yell at him,’” McCarthy, 36, told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush.
“[But] it’s so hard to even get up enough juice in me or energy in me to even try to fight someone that is obviously stupid.”
Autism activist McCarthy is featured in the current issue of Us Weekly discussing how her son recovered from the brain-development disorder that impairs a person’s ability to communicate.
Leary, 51 — whose book was quoted in newspapers as saying people diagnosed with autism are “stupid. Or lazy. Or both” — issued a statement to Us October 16, saying his words were taken out of context.
“I thought I made my feelings about autism very clear: that I not only support the current rational approaches to the diagnoses and treatment of real autism but have witnessed it firsthand while watching very dear old friends raise a functioning autistic child,” he says.
Still, McCarthy is not moved by his explanation.
“This community has been through so much and to compare and use the word ‘dumb-ass lazy’ with autism, it’s just not fair. Mind you, I have not read his chapter that he has said he has been misunderstood,” she says. “So I can’t comment too much.”
McCarthy isn’t the first celebrity to respond to Leary’s words. Holly Robinson Peete, who has an autistic son, told Us, “Autism is not a good punchline.”
