Glamour Magazine hails triumphant pop tart Rihanna as one of their 2009 Women of the Year — more than eight months after the singer’s highly publicized domestic fallout with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

“My friends and family have been extremely supportive, and everyone has been there for me,” the Rated R star tells the mag, on newsstands Nov. 10. “But at some point you are there alone. It’s a lonely place to be—no one can understand.”

In the wake of the February assault, Rihanna said one of the toughest things to cope with was the leak of the shocking photo of her beaten and bruised being leaked to the public — the singer calls the leak of the pic “humiliating.”

“It was humiliating; that is not a photo you would show to anybody,” she tells Glamour. “I felt completely taken advantage of. I felt like people were making it into a fun topic on the Internet, and it’s my life. I was disappointed, especially when I found out the photo was [supposedly leaked by] two women.”

What Rihanna Has Learned After Her Brush With Domestic Violence? “I’m stronger, wiser and more aware. You don’t realize how much your decisions affect people you don’t even know, like fans,” Rihanna says.

Rihanna On Finding Love: “I hope I find love in the next 10 years – that will be pretty annoying if I am 31 and still have never been in love! But yeah, I’d like to be in a great place in both my personal life and my career. I still want to be doing what I love. Whatever that is in 10 years, I don’t know.”

Rihanna On Domestic Violence: “Domestic violence is a big secret. No kid goes around and lets people know their parents fight. Teenage girls can’t tell their parents that their boyfriend beat them up. You don’t dare let your neighbor know that you fight. It’s one of the things we [women] will hide, because it’s embarrassing,” Rihanna explains. “My story was broadcast all over the world for people to see, and they have followed every step of my recovery. The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn’t heard. Now I can help speak for those women.”

Rihanna is speaking out for the first time since being assaulted by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in a Grammy night attack last February. In a poignant interview with Glamour’s December issue, Rihanna, a Glamour 2009 Woman of the Year recipitent, talks about how she coped after the brawl with Brown that garnered international headlines.

“I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears,” the “Russian Roulette” singer recalls in the interview, on newsstands Nov. 10. “That was the level of media chaos that happened the next day. The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn’t heard.”

Rihanna will be honored — alongside literary legend Maya Angelou and comedian Amy Poehler — at the annual Glamour Women of the Year event in New York City on Monday, Nov. 9.

In an interview with Diane Sawyer due to be aired on ABC’s Good Morning America this Thursday and Friday, the Barbadian-born singer says Chris Brown was “definitely my first big love.”

“This happened to me … it can happen to anyone,” she told Sawyer according to a statement from ABC.

Chris and Rihanna were among the fastest rising R&B artists in the country before the assault, which led to Chris losing several commercial sponsorships and being slapped with five years of probation.

An all-star cast, featuring Akon, Angela Bassett, Mary J. Blige, Sister Sledge, Natalie Cole, and controversial crooner Chris Brown, will perform at a tribute concert to Michael Jackson in Vienna later this month, organizers said Tuesday.

Thirteen artists so far have been confirmed to perform at the concert, set in front of Vienna’s Schoenbrunn Castle on September 26, Michael’s brother Jermaine Jackson and producer Georg Kindel told reporters at a news conference in Vienna this morning.

All the artists will sing the King of Pop’s greatest hits — “Thriller,” “Billie Jean,” and “Black or White” — and will be supported by the band and dancers which were to accompany Jackson on his planned “This Is It” series of comeback concerts in London before the King of Pop died in June.

In a grand finale, all of them will sing “We Are The World” and “Heal The World” together, Kindel said. MJ’s two children and his mother Katherine will also be in attendance.

A total of 20 to 25 artists are expected for the concert, and fans can expect more names to be revealed at separate news conferences in London on Wednesday and in Berlin on Thursday.

Tickets range from $78-$702.

Rihanna has moved in with Chris Brown.

The “Umbrella” singer and the 19-year-old crooner are said to have salvaged their troubled relationship and cemented the deal by shacking up in Rihanna’s new home in the Hollywood Hills.

Chris is accused of hitting, biting, and choking Rihanna unconscious in his car on February 8. He has plead not guilty to charges of felony assault and making criminal threats, and faces more than four years in prison if convicted.

On Wednesday, a friend of Rihanna’s told The Chicago Sun-Times:

“They have spent quite a few nights together. Unfortunately, Rihanna still wants him and has said to us all, ‘Get over yourselves. I’m with him, so deal with it.’ She has told us she won’t be going public with the relationship for a while.”

wow… if this is true Rihanna really is unreachable to common sense of the situation! I feel for her friends who are helpless and must stand by and watch their friend make a terrible mistake!

Chris Brown, who has been slammed with two felony counts for allegedly attacking former lover Rihanna, doesn’t believe in wasting any time.

The crooner, who allegedly left the “Umbrella” star with a split lip, a bloody nose, and bite marks on her hands after a savage beating, is currently dating University of William and Mary student Erica Jackson, a “Plain Jane” young woman he once dated while growing up in Virginia.

“They dated back in the day and reconnected a few weeks ago when Chris was in town. They’ve been spending a lot of time together, but things only really heated up over the last two weeks,” the New York Daily News quoted a source as saying.

I’m sure Erica’s parents are thrilled she is now dating an abuser!

Chris Brown has turned into an alcoholic mess in the wake of his domestic violence scandal with Barbados-born singer Rihanna.

The 19-year-old entertainer, who has pleaded not guilty to felony assault and making criminal threats stemming from his alleged attack on Rihanna, is reportedly struggling to cope with the professional fallout from the scandal and has turned to booze in a bid to keep things in prospective.

A babbling spy tells snitch site X17Online: “Chris is a mess. He lost a lot of weight, about 15 lbs. I do know that Chris is also in a depression and is drinking a lot. He almost got his butt kicked about a week ago.”

Chris, a once respected R&B star, is accused of punching, biting, and choking Rihanna until she was nearly unconscious during an altercation in his rented silver Lamborghini in the early hours of February 8.

If convicted he faces over four years in prison.

I just want to add one thing to X17’s story.. I like everyone else saw Chris Brown in court this week and it he looked the exact same to me that he did February 7- He doesn’t look like he has shed one LB let alone 15! I am going to chalk this story up to someone trying to drumb up sympathy for this douche!

1in3 stop abuse www.hometownhollywood.comThe “alleged” beating of pop star Rihanna has inspired an new public service announcement about the dangers of dating violence.

The PSA was put together by teen interest organization DoSomething.org, it features actors re-enacting the “Umbrella” singer’s brutal confrontation with R&B hitmaker Chris Brown pieced together by statements made in the LAPD’s affidavit of the Feb. 8 incident, in which Chris reportedly punched, bit, and choked Rihanna.

Dating abuse is a serious issue. 1 in 3 teens is abused in a relationship. Let’s fight to stop youth dating abuse. Join DoSomething.org’s 1 in 3 Campaign to make a statement, stop the abuse and keep teenagers safe, the group says in a statement on YouTube.

“We didn’t want to be overdramatic,” says Nancy Lublin, CEO of DoSomething.org. “Our goal was not to shoot a Lifetime TV movie. … There was no need to sensationalize things. It was bad enough.”

“The public is very focused right now on Chris and Rihanna,” Nancy continued. “I think people need to realize that this is an issue that goes beyond those particular people, and it affects everybody of every race. And so we wanted this to not be an exact re-enactment. We wanted instead to say: Could this be you?”

The Grammy-winning star’s team of advisors have been alerted that Rihanna is at risk of losing lucrative endorsement deals with popular brands like Gillette, Cover Girl, and Gucci as a result of her controversial reunion with Brown.

“Rihanna’s Gucci campaign hasn’t be renewed, and now it might not be,” an In Touch Weekly insider said on Friday.
