Rihanna Speaking Out In ‘Glamour’ And With Diane Sawyer
Posted on 03. Nov, 2009 by CSS.

Rihanna is speaking out for the first time since being assaulted by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in a Grammy night attack last February. In a poignant interview with Glamour’s December issue, Rihanna, a Glamour 2009 Woman of the Year recipitent, talks about how she coped after the brawl with Brown that garnered international headlines.
“I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears,” the “Russian Roulette” singer recalls in the interview, on newsstands Nov. 10. “That was the level of media chaos that happened the next day. The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn’t heard.”
Rihanna will be honored — alongside literary legend Maya Angelou and comedian Amy Poehler — at the annual Glamour Women of the Year event in New York City on Monday, Nov. 9.
In an interview with Diane Sawyer due to be aired on ABC’s Good Morning America this Thursday and Friday, the Barbadian-born singer says Chris Brown was “definitely my first big love.”
“This happened to me … it can happen to anyone,” she told Sawyer according to a statement from ABC.
Chris and Rihanna were among the fastest rising R&B artists in the country before the assault, which led to Chris losing several commercial sponsorships and being slapped with five years of probation.

Will Ferrell Hosted Season Finale Of SNL Last Night With A Little Help From Some Stars
Posted on 17. May, 2009 by CSS.
Saturday Night Live opening Sketch was Will Ferrell repriving his role as former President George Bush:
Check out Will Ferrell’s opening monologue:
One of my favorite sketches of the evening was the Lawrence Welk bit, Kristen Wiig plays that character perfectly:
The Funeral sketch had some good laughs with Will Ferrell playing Graham the stand-up comedian crashing the service:
I was so glad they revived the Jeopardy sketch- however the Sean Connery jokes fell a little flat and I would have rathered Burt Reynolds been in the whole sketch instead of Kathie Lee- that Kathie character is too hard to watch:
Will Ferrell also brought back classic character Harey Carey:

Amy Poehler 'GQ' Magazine Spread As Well As 'Parks & Recreation' Interview
Posted on 26. Mar, 2009 by CSS.

Amy Poehler’s new NBC comedy series, Parks And Recreation has been shrouded in secrecy for months, but with the series premiere only weeks away, the former Saturday Night Live vet has decided that the time is right to drop a few tidbits on the mockumentary style comedy.
Did you know President Obama provided some of the inspiration for the show?
“I play Leslie Knope, the head of the parks department in a small town—and her dream is to build a new park. When Obama says, ‘Okay America, let’s get to work!’ Leslie is the one who responds, ‘Great! I have all these big ideas!’” Amy says in the April 2009 of GQ.
“Government shows are usually about people making huge decisions super quickly—ya know, those big walk-and-talk shots down the halls of the White House. We wanted to explore the small ways in which people try to make a difference and fail—in a mockumentary style, like ‘The Office.’”
Parks And Recreation, from the writers and creators of The Office, premieres next month on NBC.
