Mena Suvari's Hair- Hit or Miss??

I love Mena Suvari so it pains me to see such a severe bob on her- maybe if she had gone brown or a different shade of blonde it would have come off better? What do you think?

Traci Lords Almost Didn't Take Role In Zack & Miri Make A Porno.
Posted on 01. Nov, 2008 by CSS.
Traci Lords is trying her best to leave her porn past behind. One wouldn’t think the best way to do that would be to take a role in a movie called Zack & Miri Make a Porno, but it could prove to be an excellent segue. In the movie, she plays a porn star, she just doesn’t have to do her own stunts. But because Lords really wants to make the transition from notorious teen porn star to legitimate adult actress, she was hesitant to take a role that was so familiar to her former reality.
“I’m a huge fan of Kevin Smith, so I said,’Yay!’ but when my manager told me the title I went, ‘What?’ Does he know I’m a mom now?”
Traci ultimately decided to take the role but says her infamous life as a teen porn star is no longer a part of who she is.
“I have a different life now, a great husband and a great baby. My old life no longer defines me.”

John McCain Will Be On SNL Tonight.
Posted on 01. Nov, 2008 by CSS.
John McCain will be returning to Saturday Night Live, the McCain campaign has confirmed. McCain was the featured host in 2002, and this will be the Senator’s second cameo appearance this year. It couldn’t come at a better time, for him, either. The November 1st show is airing just three days before election day and SNL has been a great way to get a little push in popularity this election.
Aides to the Republican presidential candidate said Friday that McCain will make a detour from battleground states to appear on “Saturday Night Live,” the late-night show that has been a must-watch for many during the political season.
McCain last appeared on “Saturday Night Live” in May, after clinching the nomination and while the Democratic primary continued. The 72-year-old Arizona senator joked about his age, saying: “I ask you, what should we be looking for in our next president? Certainly, someone who is very, very, very old.”
When McCain hosted “SNL” in 2002, he mocked singer Barbra Streisand’s political advocacy by performing a medley of her songs.

I cant decide if it’s going to be really awkward to watch or if he will do an alright job… guess i’ll have to wait and see- thats the good thing about tivo if it gets to uncomfortable to watch i can always fast forward!
I wonder how Ben Affleck feels about sharing the spotlight with the Republican Presidential hopeful- Affleck is a strong Obama supporter and has even hinted around to the fact that some day he might throw his hat in the political arena…. should be interesting.

CMT Viewers Elect George Strait as President, Reba McEntire A Close Second.
Posted on 01. Nov, 2008 by CSS.
If Country Music Television viewers had their way, we wouldn’t be looking at an Obama v. McCain race, we’d be watching a Strait v. McEntire election. When asked which country music star they’d vote for from a list of George Strait, Reba McEntire and other 2008 CMA nominees, George Strait, with 23% of the vote, narrowly squeaked out a win over Reba McEntire with 22% of the vote. The glass ceiling is still intact.
Americans revealed they think George Strait and Reba McEntire are the most favored Presidential picks among top country artists. In a race close enough to demand a recount, “King” George was voted as best-suited to become commander-in-chief with 23% of the overall vote, while the fiery redhead came in a close second with 22% of the overall vote.
Although the race was tight across the board, Strait beat out McEntire among red states* (30% vs. 19%), McCain supporters (26% vs. 20%) and Gen Xers (23% vs. 17%). McEntire narrowly beat out Strait among women (23% vs. 22%, respectively). Her margin of victory was better among Generation Y adults 18-29 (23% vs. 17%), Obama supporters (24% vs. 19%) and blue states* (23% vs. 20%).
“George and Reba are always huge fan favorites on CMT, so it makes sense they would go head-to-head for the Oval Office,” said Jay Frank, SVP of music strategy, CMT. “I think George’s 50-plus #1 hits may have given him an edge in what is clearly the most important decision the country music fan had to make this season.”
-From Breitbart
Trace Adkins and Alan Jackson tied for third place, with 14%, followed by Brad Paisley and Kenny Chesney with 6%. In more questionable decisions, Carrie Underwood received 4% and Keith Urban 3%. Alison Krauss, Gary LeVox, Martina McBride and Jennifer Nettles had the fewest votes with 2% each. I would have voted for any one of them over Urban or Underwood.

Jessica Simpson "Major Movie Star" "Private Valentine: Blonde & Dangerous"= Straight to DVD.
Posted on 31. Oct, 2008 by CSS.
Jessica Simpson’s Major Movie Star will finally see the light of day in a nation where English is the primary language, well sorta.
The Private Benjamin-inspired monstrosity, panned as “possibly one of the worst movies ever made” by the talking heads at Rotten Tomatoes, will be renamed Private Valentine: Blonde & Dangerous and released straight-to-DVD in America later this year.
Despite its bad press, the film managed to open No. 1 in Russia earlier this month. Go figure.
