The Teens Have Voted Miley Cyrus ‘Worst Celebrity Influence of 2009′

Apparently, pole-dancing and nude photo scandals don’t go over very well with America’s teens. Who knew?
Miley Cyrus’ once squeaky-clean image has taken another public beating; one of Disney’s hottest stars has been voted the worst celebrity influence of 2009 by the very people who made her a star, tweens and teens, according to an online poll on Wednesday.
The 16-year-old starlet took 42 percent of votes in the poll for AOL’s new JSYK.com (Just So You Know) website aimed at 9-15 year-olds. Miley’s crowning pushed Comeback Queen Britney Spears and controversial rapper Kanye West into second and third places, respectively, in a section on worst celebrity influences of the year.

‘Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson’ Light Outtage

Late Late Show host Craig Ferguson had to wrap up last night’s taping by flashlight after 70mph winds knocked out power at CBS Television City in central Los Angeles, says show publicist Katie Barker.
Scattered power outages were reported all over the Los Angeles region Tuesday night, and the blackout ultimately made its way to the Late Late Show as the lights suddenly went black at approximately 5:45PM, just as Ferguson was interviewing actress Alicia Silverstone.
Producers decided to keep the blackout as part of the show and handed Craig a flashlight.

‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Star Teresa Giudice Facing Forclosure

Heads will roll and tables will fly: Franklin Lakes socialite and Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is facing foreclosure. According to a report from RadarOnline, DLJ Mortgage Capital Inc filed papers in Superior Court of New Jersey this week to begin foreclosing on the swank dream home Teresa owns with her husband Joe and the couple’s four young daughters; Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana. What exactly Teresa’s husband does for a living remained a mystery for much of the show’s first season.
The spitfire Italian princess joins NeNe Leakes, Kim Wu-Hartwell and Lynne Curtin as star of Bravo’s smash Real Housewives franchise who have been sent packing after falling behind on the mortgage.
How much is Bravo paying these ladies? Nonetheless, this is a travesty! How can they dream of evicting the woman who coined the phrase “prostitution whore!”

Meet Al Pacino, Male Gigolo. The 69-year-old film legend has confessed that as a young struggling actor he once sold his body in exchange for food and shelter.
Pacino — who would go on to star in classic motion pictures like The Godfather Trilogy, Scarface, and Carlito’s Way — had been living in his family’s native Sicily after dropping out of school to pursue his dream of acting.
“At 20, I lived in Sicily by selling the only asset I had – my body,” Pacino told The New York Post Monday. “An older woman traded food and housing in return for sex. I woke mornings not really loving myself.”

Dina Lohan Now A Shoe Designer “Shoe-Han”

Heaven help us, Dina Lohan is a designer….
Looks like Lindsay isn’t the only Lohan earning her meal ticket on the runway these days. Just days after the 23-year-old actress introduced her inaugural collection as Ungaro’s artistic advisor, stage mom Dina Lohan has announced that she will be launching a collection of shoes — christened “Shoe-Han” — for Long Island based chain LoveMyShoes.com.
Dina will serve as national spokesmodel for the retailer in a series of television and radio promos, premiering next month. Dina’s “Shoe-Han” is due in stores just in time for Mother’s Day 2010.

Michael Lohan Confirms Lindsay Lohan’s Prescription Drug Problem

Lindsay Lohan’s outspoken father has accused the former child star of harboring a secret addiction to prescription drugs.
This should be good…
The former Disney Golden Girl already has two rehab stints to her name and Michael Lohan says he’s terrified LiLo will suffer the same fate as Michael Jackson and Heath Ledger, who died of drug overdoses.
In an interview with RadarOnline.com, the elder Lohan claims the star is a bonafide addict.
“I’m going to get her off the prescription drugs that she’s on. I hate it when people talk about illegal drug abuse… because it’s not just drinking and illegal drugs that kill you. Prescription drugs can destroy and kill a person and are sometimes harder to stop. Look at Heath Ledger and Michael Jackson,” Michael told Radar.
“You know why Lindsay’s not acting in feature films right now? Because she can’t. Because the girl with all the talent is hidden and buried deep inside this fungus that’s grown because of the prescription drugs. She can’t be herself. When you hug her she’s like, vacant inside. When she kisses or holds me I get chills, and not in a good way – in a bad way,” he adds.
“She’s a different person. I was out there for a week when she was living at the Sunset Marquis Hotel and I would sit there and cry. It was horrible. This was not the kid I raised.”
If Lindsay doesn’t get it together soon her father’s worst fear would likely come true… it’s obvious she needs major help!

Lindsay Lohan Looks Cracked Out At Paris Fashion Week 2009

YIKES!! I don’t think anything further is needed to be said, these photos definitely speak for themselves!
So was Lindsay Lohan’s debut as the creative director of French fashion line Ungaro a fashion hit or miss?
If the word of industry journalist is to be believed- the show was a royal flub!
The fashion gurus at Women’s Wear Daily panned the line’s Spring/Summer 2010 presentation at Paris Fashion Week on Sunday, blasting the new collection comprised largely of barely-there dresses, plunging necklines, and an obsession with all things pink.
“The collection displayed none of the promised younger side Lohan was supposed to deliver.” WWD speficially criticized Lindsay’s “nonskilled” influence on the collection designer, Estrella Archs, 35. “Being a young, pretty, controversial woman who looks good in clothes and photo ops just isn’t enough.”
The Guardian expressed a similar sentiment: “She may not have cut patterns or pinned toiles, but her influence could be seen throughout this collection. Whether this is a good thing is very much open to debate: there were dresses in the collection that one could all too easily believe to have been created by a designer with no experience or training.”
The Kansas City Star dubbed the fleeting line Pasties ‘R Us, writing: “Lohan and Archs held hands and hugged each other as they took to the podium for a post-show bow, drawing a mostly tepid round of applause from the skeptical crowd of fashion journalists and editors…”

“Real Housewives Of OC” Gretchen Rossi Video-The Gretchen Project: The Pursuit Of Everlasting Beauty

While I was working on the post directly below this one, on the new addition to the Housewives, Alexis Bellino, I came across some interesting updates on vixen Gretchen Rossi.
I’m not sure how I missed this one, but it appears Gretchen has launched a new website GretchenProject.com.
Her website is centered around the tag line “The Pursuit of Everlasting Beauty.” Gretchen is vlogging her quest for beauty! The video interview is a little hard to sit through- Dr. Goldberg does a fine job answering her questions-the uneasy part is watching Rossi clearly read off a script as well as stumble over her words. I can’t imagine what audience she is hoping to rope in with this new website! It looks like she just recently launched this site, so it will be interesting to see how she continues to update it as well as which ‘beauty’ topics she decides to go “in-depth” on.
I’m sure we will be hearing all about this on the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of OC... I bet Tamra will have some unflattering comment about Gretchen’s new venture!

Julia Roberts Reportedly Hires 350 Bodyguards For Trip To India

Julia Roberts has ticked off Hindu villagers after her diva decision to recruit 350 guards, bulletproof cars and a helicopter to accompany her on her trip to India.
The Oscar-winning actress, husband Danny Moder, and the couple’s three children, four-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and son Henry, two, are staying in the town of Pataudi, near the capital Delhi, while Julia shoots new film Eat, Pray, Love.
Julia and Danny are so worried about their family’s safety they’ve adopted an extreme security regime, employing hundreds of bodyguards, including police officers and snipers, to protect themselves, The Sun reported Wednesday.
“Nobody can breach the cover. We have strict instructions,” a police officer reportedly told the tabloid.
The family is transported everywhere in bulletproof cars and helicopters patrol the skies 24 hours a day, enraging local residents, who have been banned from attending a Hindu temple while Julia is in town.
The restrictions are particularly upsetting for locals as September is one of the holiest months in the Hindu calendar.
One worshipper said: “It’s the holiest time of the year and we must not be stopped from visiting our own temple.”

Serena Williams had a meltdown — that cost the tennis ace a match on a conduct violation — after an unusual call at the U.S. Open on Saturday, Yahoo! Sports reports.
Serena berated an official and lost a match to Kim Cjisters from Belgium during their Women’s Semi-Final US Open match at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York over the weekend — the judge claims the Grand Slam champ threatened to kill her following a dispute over a call.
