Jillian Michaels Reality Show, “Losing It With Jillian”

Jillian Michaels is taking a leave of absence from The Biggest Loser ranch and hitting the road to show overweight Americans how to lose that belly fat in her new upcoming reality spinoff, Losing It With Jillian.
Losing It With Jillian, an eight-episode series slated for premiere in 2010, features Jillian traveling the country, living with families for a whole week and thoroughly examining the fitness and nutritional choices they’ve made. In each episode, the no-nonsense trainer on NBC’s hit weight loss series will move into the family’s home and overhaul their lives with a full lifestyle makeover, Jillian, 35, tells The Hollywood Reporter.
“In a way, it’s a response to the comments we always get on Loser,” she explains. “We always hear, ‘It’s so easy to lose weight when you move into the camp and you’re living with trainers’ and ‘Would they really be able to lose the weight if there wasn’t money on the line?’”

EX- Ralph Lauren Model Fired For Being ‘Over-Weight’ Filippa Hamilton Speaks Out

Filippa Hamilton has allegedly been fired from Ralph Lauren for being too fat. Take a look at her pictures here and let us know if you think she should have been let go:
Hamilton went on the Today Show today to talk about being fired. Apparently she’s 5′10, 120 pounds, which shows just how distorted the modeling industry really is if that’s viewed as large. Filippa claimed to be a size four and says she was fired because she couldn’t fit into designer’s clothes anymore.
Ralph Lauren of course denies it all, saying “We consider her an important part of our imaging and branding,” the designer said in a statement to the media. “We regret that our relationship has ended as a result of her inability to meet the obligations under her contract with us.” Which kind of sounds like his way of confirming the story, since being too large would count as not being able to meet her obligations.

Renee Zellweger Reportedly Dressing In A Fat Suit For Third “Bridget Jones Diary” Film.

Renee Zellweger won’t be piling on the pounds to reprise her role as overweight diary-keeper Bridget Jones in the latest addition to the popular Bridget Jones’ Diary film franchise — she’ll don a fat suit instead.
The Oscar-winning star has signed on for a third film about the unlucky in love Brit and her quest to become a mother in her 40s. But instead of embarking on a high-fat diet as she did for the 2001 and 2004 films Renee will wear a costume to make her appear larger, according to Britains Reveal Magazine learned on Tuesday.
“Renee will be wearing a fat suit in the third film as it took her a while to lose the weight last time. She’s also thinking about the effect quickly putting on and then losing 30 pounds has on her body,” a production source reveals.

Matt Damon Talks About How Fun It Was To Put On 30LBS For “The Informant”

Matt Damon had fun while working on his new dark comedy because he could binge on junk food and skip his usual workout sessions.
The 38-year-old Oscar winner had to bulk up an additional 30 pounds to play bipolar whistle-blower Mark Whitacre in the upcoming film The Informant. He also dons a handlebar mustache, a wig, and thick ’80s glasses to add to his unflattering look.
Matt gorged on McDonald’s and Doritos to help him gain weight.
“It was very, very easy to gain weight. It was very, very fun, probably the best time I had working because I didn’t have to go to the gym after work and I just ate everything I could see.”

Lindsay Lohan Ordered To Gain Weight For Movie Role In, 'The Other Side'

Lindsay Lohan has been ordered to gain weight and undergo drug testing by the producers of her upcoming film, The Other Side.
Lindsay has such a poor reputation on the Hollywood scene for wild-child misbehavior and diva antics, the only way the former child star could be hired for the film was to agree to gain weight, attend weekly weigh-ins, adhere to a nightly curfew during filming, and undergo random drug and alcohol testing.
The makers of the upcoming motion picture thriller are familiar with Lindsay’s binge drinking and multiple trips to rehab, and insiders say they aren’t taking any chances that LiLo will suffer one of her famous relapses at their expense.
“Producers want Lindsay looking like a normal, healthy girl, not a skeleton,” a production insider tattles in the June 7 issue of Star, adding: “So they ordered her to rest up and eat more. They refuse to risk her dropping out of the movie because of her problems.”
It’s always refreshing to hear producers demanding their stars to gain weight instead of lose weight! And from the looks of things Lindsay could really benefit from this structured filming agreement!

Jenny Craig Endorsement Offer Hits Sour Note With Aretha Franklin

Aretha Franklin was left “highly insulted” earlier this month after she was asked to become the latest celebrity spokesperson for weight-loss giant Jenny Craig. The Queen of Soul — who tips the scales at nearly 300 pounds nowadays — turned them down flat.
This wouldn’t have been Ms. Aretha’s first soiree with Jenny. The 67-year-old singer signed up with the company two years ago and dropped 25 pounds on a 1,750 calorie-a-day diet. Aretha quit Jenny Craig a few months later, complaining that she was “always starving.”
In the June 2007 issue of Sister 2 Sister Magazine, Aretha said: “I lost 23 or 24 pounds to begin with, but it’s kind of a strain when you get to 23 or 24 pounds. That’s why I got off of it. It’s a strain because you’re eating the Jenny Craig-type meals, which are very good. But you can only eat them for so long before you want some barbecue ribs or some pigs feet. Once you get off that Jenny Craig thing and you start eating what you’ve been eating, it’s all over.”
The ‘pigs feet’ line made me nearly see my breakfast again… gross!!

A heavily-overweight Kevin Federline is going back to doing what he does best in hopes of shedding the fat. The former backup dancer — who is rumored to be in discussions for an endorsement deal with weight loss supplement NutriSystem — has been dancing every day for three hours in a desperate bid to rid himself of the flab he’s gained since splitting from Britney.
“He’s tried all sorts of diets, but nothing’s worked so far….Kevin never was a gym bunny, he stayed in shape by dancing,” says a friend. “He’s desperate to slim down now.”
Just curious.. but who refers to their male friend as “bunny” especially “gym bunny”… odd
