Kanye West Calls Himself The Voice Of This Generation & Disses Justin Timberlake.
Posted on 14. Nov, 2008 by CSS.

Kanye West is the most influential musician of our generation, at least in his humble estimation.
The 31-year-old Grammy Award winner egomantic reminded fans that humility is not strong suit in an interview with the Associated Press on Wednesday.
“I realize that my place and position in history is that I will go down as the voice of this generation, of this decade, I will be the loudest voice,” Kanye insists. “It’s me settling into that position of just really accepting that it’s one thing to say you want to do it and it’s another thing to really end up being like Michael Jordan.”
Would someone please tell him that he is not the voice of anything and the only thing he’s running is his mouth!?
Kanye says he believes Justin Timberlake had a chance to be music’s new MVP, but charges that the former boy bander has not released enough material.
“There were people who had the potential to do it but they went on vacation, so when Justin went on vacation I made albums. And it just came out to be that.”

Angelina Jolie Announces She'll Fade Away, People Wonder When?
Posted on 14. Nov, 2008 by CSS.
Angelina Jolie says that she’s ready to quit working and “fade away.” She’s made frequent comments lately about how her kids are her first priority and she doesn’t feel as inclined to act as she used to. Now she’s made it perfectly clear that she has a few upcoming projects planned but after that she doesn’t want to work anymore.
Angelina Jolie says she plans to give up acting to be a full-time mother.
“I don’t plan to keep acting very long. I’m ready to do a few things now and fade away and get ready to be a grandma one day,” she tells BBC News in a new interview. “I’m not so worried that I want to keep this pace up and try to be something and be a celebrity.”
She says she’s lucky to take on great roles but “everything comes in seasons. I hopefully won’t be needing to do that later in my life anyway,” she adds.
The 33-year-old Changeling star — who says she won’t work for a year after she returns to work in February — stresses, “I don’t think I’ll ever say I’m never, ever gonna work because maybe there’s that interesting project where I feel creative.
“I like being home a lot,” the mother of six adds. “First and foremost, I have a lot of children, and I need to make sure they’re growing right and they’ve got us there for them.”
-From Us Weekly
She’s still giving a bit of a mixed message. You can’t “fade away” completely when you keep the door open to possibly working if the right project comes along. That just means people are constantly going to try to tempt her with the perfect film. And I don’t think it’s possible for her to live the low-key life she’s describing. The woman is the mother of Brad Pitt’s children. They travel with a cavalcade of staff wherever they go. Even if she and Brad were both to quit acting, I don’t think they’d be able to fade into oblivion. People are curious about Brangelina and the more they hide the more everyone else will seek.
If I were to bet on it, I’d say Angelina will slow down the frequency of her work but still maintain a Hollywood presence.

Mariah Carey Says Hubby Nick Cannon Has Stopped Her Diva Ways.
Posted on 14. Nov, 2008 by CSS.
In a recent U.K. television interview, singer Mariah Carey said that her new husband Nick Cannon has calmed her down and helped her curb her “diva” ways. What I want to know is: did the interviewer bust out laughing and ask her about the 21 suitcases she brought on her three-day U.K. excursion?
Mariah Carey has insisted her days of behaving like a diva are over – and credits hubby NICK CANNON with calming her down.
The couple – who tied the knot in April – worked together on Mariah’s video for her new single I Stay In Love, with Nick on directing duties.
And the sexy singer was amazed the shoot passed without incident and finished on schedule, thanks to Nick’s efficient approach.
In an interview with This Morning, Mariah said: “It’s the only video in the history of me making videos that I ended on time, actually early both days, and there was no drama, and everybody was saying what is this new thing?!
“So I guess this was definitely him. No more stories about divaness, divaland, divalicious.
“I enjoyed working with him, but I know it’s the first time so who knows.”
Mariah also divulged details of how the couple got together, revealing the spark between them was instantaneous.
She gushed: “We met each other in 2005 on a couple of award shows and we had that thing – you look at them and talk to them, and you are like what was that, that was interesting, but I liked it!”
And the star also said the pitter patter of tiny feet could soon be echoing around the couple’s vast LA abode.
When asked if babies are on the cards, Mariah coyly replied: “Maybe sometime soon. We will see.”

So, wait a minute- this is the first time in her entire career that a video shoot has gone without incident? Yikes! She sounds like a real treat to work with.

Paris Hilton Speaks Out About The "Ex's"
Posted on 03. Nov, 2008 by CSS.
But sexy Paris Hilton snuggled up to me and simpered that SHE’D been exploited by all the men in her life – hungry for fame and fortune.
Cooing that she has now found true love and Mr Right in rock star Benji Madden, the world’s most talked about blonde broke her silence to condemn that pesky string of exes.
Tearful multi-millionaire Paris fluttered her eyes and told the News of the World: “Every other guy I’ve been out with has used me for money or sex – but in most cases they just want fame. It made it hard to trust people.”
Top of Paris’s treachery hitlist is ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon, now 40. The small-time film producer made millions selling the infamous home-made sex tape of Paris, which was originally leaked on the internet.
In the UK to film her new reality ITV2 show, Paris Hilton’s British Best Friend, she told us: “I loved this guy for three years but he betrayed me. Rick’s a scumbag and I hate him.
“It was just the most horrible thing that’s ever happened to me. So humiliating and embarrassing. But at the end of the day, I didn’t do anything wrong.”
-From News of The World
My guess is that Paris is trying to rewrite a little history here, now that she has a steady boyfriend. Too bad there are way too many videos and photos that contradict her statements now. I’m not a “Paris Hater” I just think that instead of trying to act like it wasn’t her fault, it would probably be better if she just owned up to her antics, chalked them up to being young and stupid, and moved on.

New Bond Girl Gemma Arterton Has 6 Fingers Per Hand.
Posted on 02. Nov, 2008 by CSS.
The new Bond girl has a weird confession for her fans- she was born with 12 fingers!
Gemma Arterton revealed her unique condition in a recent interview with Esquire magazine:
“It’s my little oddity that I’m really proud of. People are really interested but repulsed at the same time. My dad had them, and my granddad. I feel like we’re one-step ahead- a sign of things to come. We could do more stuff if we had extra fingers- faster texting, emailing, better guitar-playing.”
And not only that, she was also born with a “crumpled ear” that had to be corrected with surgery. The 22-year-old beauty added, ” I was born with lots of deformities.”
Arterton still has small lumps on the side of her hands following the childhood procedures to have the extra digits removed. Her fingers were “tied” causing them to fall off naturally….That procedure, “tied” sounds so medieval!!
Personally I think its great she is talking about this, it helps put the spotlight on the fact that we are all human we can all have abnormalities.. even the famous!

'Alexander' Pained Collin Farrell.
Posted on 31. Oct, 2008 by CSS.
Colin Farrell has turned into a new man recently. Showing a much more vulnerable and mature side than in the past, Farrell has opened up about personal issues and become introspective. Colin recently spoke about his addictions and the pressures of fame, and now, he’s talking about the effect the bombing of his film Alexander, and his performance in it, had on him.
“Alexander hurt, you know — and again people are going to say ‘Get over it, you were well paid’ and all that. But Alexander hurt,” Farrell told reporters.
“The response that it got was really painful and all of us got a really hard time, and I didn’t come across too well either in the majority of reviews and even with the audiences — people did not respond to it.
“It was a film that was made to be seen by many people. Not many people saw it and they weren’t particularly fond of it, and that was s—-, it was really s—-,” he said.
“I took it to heart. I felt like I had let a lot of people down, I felt like I had disappointed a lot of people … And it took a while to get over that,” Farrell said.

Ricky Gervais: Not Sexy.
Posted on 14. Oct, 2008 by CSS.
There are alot of adjectives to describe Ricky Gervais, funny, clever, witty, just to name a few, but according to Gervais, himself, sexy isn’t one of them. The British comedian says he’s not sexy, but he’s ok with that.
The British comic star – who is in a long-term relationship with author Jane Fallon – has never thought of himself as an attractive man.
He said: “Looks are still the most important thing for women when it comes to meeting a partner. And that’s fair enough, but a sense of humour is really important too. For starters, it’s a great indicator of whether you are going to get on. If the first time you go on a date you don’t find each other funny, there’s a fundamental problem. Laughing at each other’s jokes is one of the keys to a good relationship.
“I don’t see myself as sexy but I am happy with that. I don’t think a comedian should even be concerned with being cool or sexy – as soon as you do, you aren’t a comedian any more.”

Christian Slater Interview With Parade.
Posted on 09. Oct, 2008 by CSS.
I liked reading this, i especially like the part where he references trying not to be a diva and acting entitled! For some reason it always warms me up to actors when i see or him them acknowledging what the celebrity status can do to you.. anyways check it out:
Q: Is it possible for you to look forward to a future without the bumps your past has been so full of?
A: Life doesn’t need to be necessarily the roller coaster that it was of my 20s and 30s, but it can be a smoother ride, certainly. It does all come down to personal choice, and listening to your friends and people who really have your back and who are really looking out for you.
This is a hilarious business, and you can get a lot of mixed messages, and ego and bad behavior can sometimes be applauded and rewarded, and you end up thinking, ‘Oh, is that how you’re supposed to be or how you’re supposed to behave?’
It’s unfortunate, because actors, myself included, we can all be divas, and make fools of ourselves, and think we’re entitled to this-and-that, and think we’re all of a sudden something special and unique. We can forget to say ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ and that the world revolves around us. That’s just not the reality.
Q: You began to take acting classes in your early 30s. What made you decide to do that?
A: When I started in the business, I was certainly very young, so I was learning sort of on-the-job how to do it, and what to do, and where to go. But I didn’t really get why I was doing it or what the purpose was. I just didn’t get it. At a certain point it stopped being fun, and it started to feel like a job, and I didn’t really understand what the job was or what was expected of me all of a sudden, and I was just changing from the kid who got into it to have fun to growing up and realizing I’ve never even worked with an acting teacher.
I thought, ‘What can I do about that?’ So through some friends and some research, I did find an acting coach to work with. I was just relying a lot on little lessons I’d learned, or things I’d picked up from directors here and there, and really didn’t know what the hell I was doing. So I ended up going to work with an acting instructor, and that was great. It was an interesting experience, just in confronting my ego and being in front of a class with other actors.

Posted on 09. Oct, 2008 by CSS.
Hey She said it not me!! Check out the interview below:
The Charlie’s Angels star has dated a string of Hollywood stars including Matt Dillon, Jared Leto and singer Justin Timberlake.
And the star – who is now dating Jennifer Aniston’s ex Paul Sculfor – claims her selfishness often hinders long-term romances.
She says, “It’s really hard for me to commit. It’s probably a lack of discipline on my part.
“Honestly, I’m just a spoiled brat who’s used to getting my own way all the time! I’m sure that’s what it is. I’m sure I’ll suffer for it later, but I’m happy with it right now.”
-From UK Yahoo
