Mark Wahlberg's Second Office: His Church.
Posted on 19. Oct, 2008 by CSS.
If your trying to make in Hollywood and your one of those stalkerish types that tries to get in the face of anyone famous to put your work out there- then Marky Mark just opened the door for you to a whole new venue:
“I go to church and people ask me if they can be on Entourage, what’s gonna happen. I go to church to worship, I don’t go to church to talk about it. The stuff that I did with my entourage back in the day is stuff that I’m not proud of and I’m asking forgiveness for; I don’t want things brought up in church, but, if you go to church in Beverly Hills, those kind of things happen. I get scripts, resumes, books – people tried to come up to me with a children’s book before and I wouldn’t take it. They got upset with me. This is church.”
Unfortunately it’s painfully obvious to me that Mark is putting that out their so that he can hopefully be left alone- but I know all the crazies out there just heard an open invite every Sunday for the rest of his life….

Paris Hilton Knows She Is A Joke?!?
Posted on 18. Oct, 2008 by CSS.
It’s no secret that everyone loves to poke fun at Paris Hilton, including the heiress herself. In an interview with Nylon magazine she said: “I’m smart and I know what’s going on. I can laugh at myself; I’m in on the joke. I know what you guys think of me, and I’m going to play into it and make you laugh at the same time.” Do you agree with Paris that she is in on the joke about herself?

Ricky Gervais: Not Sexy.
Posted on 14. Oct, 2008 by CSS.
There are alot of adjectives to describe Ricky Gervais, funny, clever, witty, just to name a few, but according to Gervais, himself, sexy isn’t one of them. The British comedian says he’s not sexy, but he’s ok with that.
The British comic star – who is in a long-term relationship with author Jane Fallon – has never thought of himself as an attractive man.
He said: “Looks are still the most important thing for women when it comes to meeting a partner. And that’s fair enough, but a sense of humour is really important too. For starters, it’s a great indicator of whether you are going to get on. If the first time you go on a date you don’t find each other funny, there’s a fundamental problem. Laughing at each other’s jokes is one of the keys to a good relationship.
“I don’t see myself as sexy but I am happy with that. I don’t think a comedian should even be concerned with being cool or sexy – as soon as you do, you aren’t a comedian any more.”

Christian Slater Interview With Parade.
Posted on 09. Oct, 2008 by CSS.
I liked reading this, i especially like the part where he references trying not to be a diva and acting entitled! For some reason it always warms me up to actors when i see or him them acknowledging what the celebrity status can do to you.. anyways check it out:
Q: Is it possible for you to look forward to a future without the bumps your past has been so full of?
A: Life doesn’t need to be necessarily the roller coaster that it was of my 20s and 30s, but it can be a smoother ride, certainly. It does all come down to personal choice, and listening to your friends and people who really have your back and who are really looking out for you.
This is a hilarious business, and you can get a lot of mixed messages, and ego and bad behavior can sometimes be applauded and rewarded, and you end up thinking, ‘Oh, is that how you’re supposed to be or how you’re supposed to behave?’
It’s unfortunate, because actors, myself included, we can all be divas, and make fools of ourselves, and think we’re entitled to this-and-that, and think we’re all of a sudden something special and unique. We can forget to say ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ and that the world revolves around us. That’s just not the reality.
Q: You began to take acting classes in your early 30s. What made you decide to do that?
A: When I started in the business, I was certainly very young, so I was learning sort of on-the-job how to do it, and what to do, and where to go. But I didn’t really get why I was doing it or what the purpose was. I just didn’t get it. At a certain point it stopped being fun, and it started to feel like a job, and I didn’t really understand what the job was or what was expected of me all of a sudden, and I was just changing from the kid who got into it to have fun to growing up and realizing I’ve never even worked with an acting teacher.
I thought, ‘What can I do about that?’ So through some friends and some research, I did find an acting coach to work with. I was just relying a lot on little lessons I’d learned, or things I’d picked up from directors here and there, and really didn’t know what the hell I was doing. So I ended up going to work with an acting instructor, and that was great. It was an interesting experience, just in confronting my ego and being in front of a class with other actors.

Hulk Hogan Is Hoping For His Family Back…
Posted on 09. Oct, 2008 by CSS.
Dear delusional Hulk seems to have forgotten the way this generally goes and appears to hope his family will have some kind of quasi-reconciliation. Hey, you bring the girlfriend that looks exactly like your daughter, your wife can bring her boyfriend that’s the same age as her son in juvie, and I’m sure we’ll all have a grand old time with a cookout and some type of baked goods.
Hulk Hogan is eager for his son, Nick, to be released from jail on October 21 and hopes that his family — including daughter Brooke and estranged wife Linda — will unite in support. “I don’t think there’s any reason why we shouldn’t all be friends,” Hulk, whose marriage to Linda fell apart in 2007, tells In Touch. “But other people feel differently.”
Nick, 18, was locked up on May 9 for his involvement in a car accident that permanently injured his friend John Graziano. He’s getting out three months early, thanks to credits for good behavior. “
Nick is [holding himself] accountable … He has this whole new vibe about helping people,” his dad says. “He should be free to follow his heart.” As he awaits Nick’s homecoming, Hulk is keeping busy with his new show, Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling, which premieres on October 18 on CMT. “I know Nick wants something good to eat,” Hulk tells In Touch. “And he said he wants a really, really long shower.”

Anne Hathaway.
Posted on 08. Oct, 2008 by CSS.
Anne always comes across extremely polished sometimes almost rehearsed- Her answers in interviews are very PR by the book …. makes you really wonder what she must really be like because there is no way this pristine image is the real deal. I mean sure, i bet there are certain elements that are truly her I certainly dont think she is a bad person in any form, however i feel she lacks authenticity - i think alot of it is a front and image and she does it well.
Anne, you’ve achieved so much success in such a short time. How has it changed your life?
“It’s been a change for the good, and at times a change for the worse. Success at a young age can make you cautious. During a time most people are tying to find themselves, I was always hyper-aware of responsibilities. It’s nothing to really complain about; it’s just the reality.”
You are famous for trying to keep your private life private. Why is that?
“That’s definitely my choice. I don’t ever want to be described as a personality. There are people who enjoy the spotlight and having their picture taken, but I’m really not one of them. If I don’t have something to talk about that I’m proud of, it makes me uncomfortable to receive that kind of attention… I believe in privacy.”What do you do in your spare time between films?
“I love hiking – to escape into the open air gives me such a sense of freedom. I love nature and so it’s always relaxing to disconnect in the middle of nowhere. Reading is something I enjoy very much as it also helps me relax and reading is a way of traveling in your mind. And listening to Amy Winehouse. Her voice is incredible and she had the wonderful ability to revisit classic blues with so much modernity.”I understand that sometimes you use scent as a way into a character
“Absolutely. For me, scent is very important for my characters. I don’t feel like I’ve found them unless a few elements are in place and one of them is their fragrance. I played one character and her scent was lavender for the entire film. I think everyone was happy when the movie wrapped!”

Drew Barrymore Gets Patriotic.
Posted on 05. Oct, 2008 by CSS.
On the cover of the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar, like many celebrities Drew wants to inspire and encourage young voters to vote, Drew also states her endorsement of Barrack Obama.
Drew’s magazine interview wasn’t only about the upcoming election, she lit a little light on where she is at these days in her own life:
“My priorities have changed so much. I’ve been single for months now, and I’ve turned my attention toward my passions, my friends, and the causes I believe in. I’ve learned to put myself second. I’ve had a couple fun, frolicky relationships, but really, I got out of a five-year relationship and I dated a few people here and there. Mostly it’s been about learning who I am, not through a man, but for myself. I’ve been spending time with my friends and doing more traveling with the UN and challenging myself at work. I’m so happy with where my priorities are right now.”
Ouch! She kinda skimmed right over the relationship she had with Justin Long-those two were together for months and were photographed everywhere, each time with Drew gushing this huge smile from ear to ear… I guess he was just a blimp on the Drew Barrymore radar…

A Few Words From Kirsten Dunst.
Posted on 05. Oct, 2008 by CSS.
She would like us all to know that fame can indeed be isolating….
Kirsten also admits that she can identify with Marie Antoinette’s troubles with celebrity after playing her onscreen.
“Being famous can be isolating,” she says. “I was 11 when I started acting, and I’ve always been surrounded by adults and people I’m trying to please. It can make you feel very lonely. You’re constantly wondering if people are using you.”
The Spiderman 3 star says she’s gotten some good advice, however, from others in the industry on how to deal with the ups and downs of fame and success.
“The one thing every actor has told me is, ‘Always keep your head on straight and never stop being the person you really are.’ As soon as you start getting wrapped up in the celebrity side of the business, which has nothing to do with acting, that’s when you can lose it,” she recalls. “I remember James Wood telling me, ‘Do small movies.’ But I took that with a grain of salt because he said it while he was in that Oliver Stone football epic Any Given Sunday.”
-Interview from OK! Magazine
Here’s the thing, most celebrities Know full well what they are getting themselves into- there are pitfalls to being rich and famous, I often think celebrities just wish they could have the riches without all the other stuff, but the other stuff is what makes them rich- if we weren’t interested in these actors we wouldn’t go see how they did in that new film of there’s- It’s a double edged sword- However, I do sympathise more with actors who were thrown into the spotlight as kids because when they are that young they don’t have the where with all to fully understand what they are taking on.
