Paul McCartney Says New Song Is Definitely Not About Ex-Heather Mills

A new song on Paul McCartney’s new album, Electric Arguments, with “side project” band The Fireman, is definitely not about Heather Mills, as has been speculated, according to the ex-Beatle. “Nothing Too Much, Just Out of Sight” was thought by many to have been written about McCartney’s ex-wife whom he divorced this year.
Lyrics in the track include: “I remember you well/ Oh woman betrayed you/ I couldn’t resist you/ When I made you.”
However, Paul insists people are reading too much into the song, which is actually a sister track to his former band The Beatles’ popular song ‘Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da’.
He explained: “I didn’t have anyone in mind. There was an African guy called Jimmy Scott who I used to meet in nightclubs in London during the 60s.
“He was the guy who said to me, ‘Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, life goes on’ and the other thing he used to say was, ‘Nothing too much man, just out of sight.’
“I always thought that it was a great thing to say, so it was really Jimmy. I just flew off that line and shouted out things around it.”

Tom Cruise On The Cover Of 'Details' Magazine. Says He Identifies With 'Valkyrie' Character.

Tom Cruise is doing a ton of promotion for his upcoming film “Valkyrie.” And surprisingly enough, he’s managed to stay out of trouble so far, which I find utterly perplexing. In an upcoming interview with Details, Tom says that he identifies with his character, Claus von Stauffenberg, who attempted to assassinate Hitler.
He won’t go into the other hardships; appearing to ask for sympathy would be … un-Cruise-worthy. But he clearly felt a connection to Stauffenberg, his crisis of conscience and his conflicting loyalties. “Certain decisions at points in my life … I absolutely related,” he says. “Stauffenberg went from saying, ‘Someone should shoot that bastard’ to realizing, I’m the only one who can do it. You can’t really know until you’re under that kind of pressure. I’m not saying this in some chest-pounding way, but I do feel I’d have that kind of courage.”

I tried to guess which decisions Tom could have been talking about, but he’s got such a grandiose opinion of himself that it’s hard to figure out when he thought he was doing something bold and courageous. Jumping on Oprah’s couch? I mean that thing’s held a lot of people; it could have broken. Telling off Matt Lauer? Waving the Scientology banner and never backing down? Certainly not impossible.
Tom says he’s learned to ignore the haters. Okay that’s not how he phrases it, but that’s the point.
Do you really doubt he can pull it off? To get Valkyrie made, he had to win over a country that was trying outlaw his religion—one German official called him “the Joseph Goebbels of Scientology”—and refused to let him shoot at the army’s historic Berlin headquarters, the Benderblock. The tabloids feasted and the nabobs of negativity nattered every time it seemed Cruise’s comeback vehicle had blown a tire, but the star prevailed. “That was always just a small group,” he says of his German critics. “When there was finally dialogue between us and they realized what it was we were doing with the story, they relented. This was a hard movie to make on many levels—but that was just one challenge.”

Tom gives the whole interview over the phone and mentions that Suri is there, falling asleep on his lap. He’s talked a lot about his wife and daughter in the last few days, which at first made it seem like he was back to the good ‘ol Tom who couldn’t think of anything more interesting to talk about than his personal life while promoting a movie.

Reese Witherspoon Loves '30 Rock'

Move over, Jen Aniston and Oprah Winfrey.
Reese Witherspoon says she’s wouldn’t mind being the next A-lister to appear on NBC’s 30 Rock.
“30 Rock is awesome,” she tells E! News in a new interview to promote her holiday comedy Four Christmases.
Asked if she could see herself popping up on the show, Witherspoon says, “Oh, sure. Yeah. I love Tina [Fey], and I think she does such a great job, and she really understands comedy for women.”
Witherspoon’s other comedy icons?
“Amy Poehler, Kristen Wiig — all those girls on Saturday Night Love,” [sic] she adds. “It’s been such a great year for women to come out.”

Lindsay Lohan: Not A Lesbian, Maybe Bi.

Lindsay Lohan has officially decreed that she is not a lesbian. But she might be a bisexual. Maybe. Lindsay is so weird about her relationship with Samantha Ronson. She’s unnecessarily coy and it just doesn’t work for her. She’ll say things like, “Everyone knows who I’m dating,” and then refuse to say it’s Samantha. What the hell is the point of that?
A coy Lindsay Lohan insists that she isn’t a lesbian and barely cops to being bisexual – but admits that she’s dating a “wonderful” woman with whom she’s madly in love, according to a new interview with the starlet. “I think it’s pretty obvious who I’m seeing,” Lohan told Harper’s Bazaar magazine. Nonetheless, she pointedly refused to name her lady love, LA DJ Samantha Ronson. When asked if she considered herself a bisexual, Lohan answered, “Maybe. Yeah.” But she was adamant that she wasn’t a lesbian, giving an emphatic, “No,” when asked.

Lindsay has been linked to so many guys that it’s hard to imagine her being totally faithful to Samantha. She seems really unsure about her sexual orientation. She’s not identifying herself as a lesbian and seems kind of reticent to even say she’s bisexual. The reporter suggests it and she responds with, “Maybe.” I wonder if she and Samantha have an open relationship or something, since Lindsay seems so unwilling to actually say or do anything that would rule out men. But it could just as easily be that labels don’t matter to LiLo, she figures she’s happy – so who cares? Something tells me it’s about attention and gossip more than anything though.

Are Orlando Bloom & Miranda Kerr Getting Engaged Soon?

Pretty couple Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr share more than photogenic cheekbones and an interest in Buddhism. They both enjoy jewelry, which may soon include an engagement ring for Kerr.
For years, Orlando has worn necklaces with a variety of baubles from all his travels, and in September, Miranda and Orlando spent more than $2,000 at a charity auction of Afghan jewelry.
Now Star reports Orlando is getting possessive about what jewelry Miranda wears.
Orlando Bloom wants supermodel girlfriend to wear his ring. And no one else’s! He’s made Miranda chuck all of the jewelry her exes had given her, a friend reveals. But he didn’t leave her dazzle-free. Miranda was blinging out in bracelets and other baubles from her beau at Primitivo Wine Bistro in Venice, Calif., on October 25. Says a witness, “She said she only wears stuff from Orlando now!”

The couple have been together over a year, and In Touch reports that they’re about to take it to the next level.
“They are talking about settling down and getting married in a year,” a friend of the Victoria’s Secret model tells In Touch. “They have had a bit of a crazy year, but they do love each other and she wants to be his wife.” Miranda, 25, and Orlando, 31, openly showed their affection during a romantic dinner at Primotivo in Venice Beach, Calif., on October 26. “They were holding hands and kissing throughout the meal,” says the friend.

In Touch obviously isn’t overly concerned about getting details like the date and spelling of the restaurant right. Pictures show the couple were at the restaurant on October 25, as Star reports, and the name of the restaurant is Primitivo, not Primotivo.
If they do wed, Miranda may be the breadwinner in the family. She is the face of David Jones Limited and will appear at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show in Miami in December.
Orlando has been rumored for several roles, but so far nothing seems to have panned out. Hopefully, Orlando will at least don the blonde wig and pointy ears as Legolas for The Lord of the Rings prequel.

Sienna Miller: Confirms She Is Single.

Enjoying the single life following her recent split from Balthazar Getty, Sienna Miller was spotted out partying it up at the London clubs over the weekend.
Following an appearance at the Hollywood Dominos VIP Launch held in Knightsbridge on Friday (November 7), Sienna ventured over to Automat club in Mayfair before making her way to Jalouse nightclub – where she partied with fellow clubgoers including Josh Hartnett until 4:30 in the morning.
Confirming rumors of a split from oil heir Getty, Sienna told press at the Hollywood Dominos event, “I’m single at the moment, and I’m completely happy with that.”
“It’s nice not to have a relationship that the press constantly want to scrutinize and discuss. I’m cool with being on my own,” Miller adds.

Based On Interview; Tabloids Assume Jennie Garth's Marriage Is On The Rocks.

Keeping her family together is the number one priority for 90210 star Jennie Garth. The actress, 36, who has been married to Twilight hottie Peter Facinelli for seven years, tells OK! that when it comes to making her marriage work, it’s about the little things.
“Today I went to Coffee Bean and got him a drink — just keeping your partner in mind,” Garth says. “In this industry, there’s always going to be someone more beautiful out there. It’s easy to be tempted. I’m not interested in taking the easy way out. Divorce is not an option for us. I want to be with my family.”
Speaking of family, Jennie and Peter have three adorable daughters, Luca Bella, 11, Lola Ray, 5, and Fiona Eve, 2. Three kids is a lot by anyone’s standards let alone two working Hollywood parents. But Jennie says she’d love more kids.
“Will you talk to my husband for me please?” she jokes. “I want to have a baby or adopt. My body keeps telling me to have babies.”

Jennie Garth recently gave the above interview to OK! Magazine – the interview has been on all the Gossip sites stating that Jennie is headed for divorce based on her talking openly about what it’s like to be married in Hollywood.
I for one am not buying into that side of it- I just see Jennie giving an honest interview on how hard it can be to hold it together- I don’t think that this is in any way an “alarm bell” that her marriage is in trouble- Just another example of tabloid sensationalism if you ask me!

Guy Ritchie Loves The Single Life!

I get the impression that Guy Ritchie’s extended family, and in particular his father, are not big Madonna fans. Not surprising really, considering a significant portion of Madge’s own family don’t like her. Guy Ritchie’s father John is again yapping to the press about how much his son is enjoying being separated.
“He’s been in a very good mood,” his dad, John, exclusively tells In Touch. “I wasn’t upset that they split. I am very pleased for Guy that it is over.”
“Guy is finally starting to socialize in a way that we haven’t seen from him in years,” explains another source, adding that Guy’s desire to see his friends was a big reason behind his divorce. “Madonna had heard that Guy attended a bachelor party, and she became really upset,” says the source. A heated phone argument between the couple prompted Guy to demand an immediate legal separation. “He said, ‘I need to get this divorce going so I can live again.’” Now the only trouble on the horizon is hammering out custody of Rocco, 8, and David, 3. Guy doesn’t want his kids to “live in America permanently,” his father tells In Touch. “He is such a good, positive father, he won’t let that happen.”

Christina Aguilera Denies Rivalry With Britney Spears.

Christina Aguilera is trying to play down her long rumored rivalry with Britney Spears. The singer says that she has never considered her former Mickey Mouse Club co-star a competitor.
“When we both started releasing records, it was a funny time for me,”
“It must have seemed as if we were competing with each other, but, in reality, Britney is someone that I used to hold hands with,” she added.
“We were silly little girls together on The Mickey Mouse Club. What a journey it has been for both of us!”
