Samantha Burke And Jude Law’s Baby, Sophia, Grace The Cover ‘Hello’ Magazine

Jude Law’s lovechild made her big debut on the cover of London’s Hello! Magazine on Monday.
Sophia, five weeks old, was the result of a short-lived fling between the star and aspiring actress Samantha Burke, who he met while filming Sherlock Holmes in New York City last Christmas. Jude has made no plans to visit his youngest daughter and hasn’t even sent a present, according to the baby’s mother.
Despite the actor’s seeming resistence to get involved in Sophia’s life, Samantha remains optimistic about their future relationship.
“I am very hopeful it will work out for Sophia’s sake. He’s a great father to his three kids. She’s his daughter and I believe he’ll come through,” Samantha explains in an interview that reportedly earned her $300,000. “It would be great if we can have a friendship and remain cordial. Hopefully, he’ll be a big part of her life and she’ll be proud to have him as her father.”
Samantha also slammed “hurtful” reports branding her a golddigger: “I have never dated a guy for money. All my ex-boyfriends were just normal guys.”
Samantha’s agent revealed that Britain’s Hello! Magazine bought the photos and interview with Samantha for $300,000.
“Samantha may have got pregnant by accident but she’s a smart businesswoman. The child has rarely left the house since her birth and when Samantha has had to take her out for some reason or the other, her face is carefully covered,” an insider divulged to London’s Daily Mail on Sunday.

Jude Law DNA Confirmed Father Of Model Samantha Burke’s Baby Sophia

DNA tests have confirmed that British film star Jude Law fathered a child after an affair with an American model. Samatha Burke, 24, hit headlines earlier this year when she became pregnant during a brief fling with the actor while he was filming Sherlock Holmes in New York City last winter.
Burke gave birth to daughter Sophia on Sept. 22 and went ahead with DNA testing to prove the child’s paternity. The model’s representative, Eileen Kock, has confirmed that Jude is Sophia’s father. “Samantha can confirm that DNA testing has conclusively established that Jude Law is Sophia’’s father,” Kock said in statement Sunday.
However, Jude’s publicist has refused to comment on the statement, adding, “We don’t discuss this. We consider it an entirely private matter.”

Britney Spears Is Going To Petition The Court For Full Custody Of Her Sons

Britney Spears is preparing to move for full custody of her two sons with former husband Kevin Federline, The National Enquirer claims in its Oct. 19 issue.
The “Toxic” star is considering filing a motion to restore her rights as primary guardian of sons Sean Preston, 4, and Jayden James, 3, once her conservatorship with father Jamie Spears ends in November.
“She is ready to fight to get her boys back. Britney feels that leaving Kevin in charge has turned her sons into cursing, ill-mannered little boys who don’t behave. Britney wants to be the one who chooses where the boys go to school and where they go to church,” a spy spilled to The Enquirer.
Tipsters say Britney is concerned about the way her sons are being raised by Federline — who was accused this week of property damage and failing to keep up with rent payments on his Tarzana home.
“She wants full custody and for Kevin to have visitation. Britney feels that Kevin is now the one with problems that the judge needs to hear about. She believes he’s become a poor role model for Sean and Jayden,” the insider added. “The boys are used to Kevin’s foul-mouthed, lazy, unemployed dancer friends, who either live at the house or hang out there. Britney doesn’t want the boys growing up thinking that kind of lifestyle is acceptable.”

Cameron Diaz Romancing Maroon 5 Lead Singer Adam Levine

Cameron Diaz has introduced rumored new BF Adam Levine to her mother.
The actress — whose new film My Sister’s Keeper opens in theaters this summer– and the Maroon 5 frontman first sparked romance rumors when they were spotted enjoying an intimate lunch together at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont Hotel on Saturday. The two met up with Cam’s mom Billie at the same restaurant on Sunday.
Cameron ended her one year relationship with British model Paul Sculfor earlier this month after the two disagreed over where they should set up permanent residence. Paul wanted to return to his native England, while Cameron wanted to remain here in the States.
A source told gossip website X17 Online: “Cameron arrived with her mom first and then Adam joined them at the table. It was total deja vu, except Cameron and Adam were even more comfortable with each other on Sunday, despite having the pressure of Adam meeting Cameron’s mom.”
“Her mom made things easy though – she laughed and joked around with them and it was clear that everyone had a blast. Cameron and Adam were super cute with each other and there was definitely a strong attraction.”

Jessica Alba And Cash Warren Working On Baby #2!

Jessica Alba loves motherhood so much, she and husband Cash Warren are already trying for second baby less than a year after the birth of their first child.
The couple welcomed daughter Honor Marie last June. Since then, Jessica has dutifully taken on the role of full-time mom and tabloid insiders claim the pillow-lipped hottie is prepared to put further career on hold to conceive again in 2009.
A source tells The National Enquirer, “Jessica and Cash are working overtime to get pregnant. She and Cash are boasting that they love being parents and are determined to expand their family as soon as possible.”

Rosario Dawson found herself on the receiving end of her a peculiar form of punishment from her mother whenever she acted up as a child.
“My mom licked me — that was her punishment,” says Rosario. “If I was a little uppity or if I didn’t listen or if she wanted to get my attention, she’d lick the side of my face or under my armpit. My mom’s a six-foot-tall amazon and she’d say, ‘You came out of my vagina and I own every part of you,’ and she’d lick me like I was her wee pup and she was a lioness. It was humiliating and really intense. Very primal. It’s not spanking, but it definitely works.”

Nadya Suleman Child Protective Services Complaint: Child Abuse Claim

An Los Angeles-area psychiatrist has filed a complaint with the Department of Children and Family Services/Child Protective Services accusing controversial octomom Nadya Suleman of child abuse and urging CPS to step in and remove the serial mommy’s newborn octuplets due to Suleman’s “inability to properly care for her 14 children.”
In the five-page complaint dated last Thursday, Dr. Carole Lieberman uses Nadya’s background to bolster the case that she is a “psychological and physical danger” to her family.
According to the Beverly Hills psychiatrist, Nadya is “severely narcissistic personality, with grandiosity, unrealistic fantasies, a belief that she is special, a need for excessive admiration, a disturbing sense of entitlement, a willingness to exploit other people, a lack of empathy and arrogance.”
Dr. Lieberman believes the 33-year-old lacks empathy for her children, her sperm-donor friend, and her mother, who the doctor believes Nadya has forced into “indentured servitude” by depending on the older woman to help care for her children.
“I would urge you to begin a formal investigation immediately and to take the appropriate steps to remove at least some of them from her care,” Lieberman writes in conclusion.

Jolie-Pitt Kids Disrupt Guests At The Dorchester Hotel London

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were reportedly forced to leave the BAFTAs early this weekend after their children began ‘running amok’ in a London Hotel.
The couple returned to the $8,000 a-night Dorchester Hotel to find their four oldest children; Maddox, 7, Pax, 5, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2, running wild and disturbing other guests after a nanny allowed them to play outside of their suite.
Patrons complained about to management about the noise.
“They were running up and down the hallway for over an hour,” one guest complained to The British Sun. “Their nanny tried to quiet them down and move them out the way when people came through. But she had her hands full with the four of them.”
I have a sneaking suspicion it wont be the children getting reprimanded, but rather the nanny on duty with her hands full..

Nadya Suleman, the 33-year-old single mom who added octuplets to her brood of six kids last week, is wasting no time using her newborn babies as one-way tickets to Beverly Hills.
The mother of fourteen has reportedly offered Oprah Winfrey and ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer exclusive interviews on her now infamous fertility for an asking price of $2 million.
Nadya, who family members in Southern California believe is obsessed with children, has also sparked speculation that she is interested in a career in reality TV
, following in the footsteps of TLC stars Jon and Kate Gosselin and The Duggars.
It would be really sad if that is truly the case. My heart goes out to her kids.

Liev Schreiber Had A Really Disfunctional Childhood!

His acting, he says, has complicated roots and comes from a childhood that is infamously dysfunctional. A simple précis couldn’t possibly capture the texture of it (the essayist and writer John Lahr tried to do just this in a lengthy New Yorker magazine profile of Schreiber in 1999). The key points include an early divorce between Schreiber’s blueblood father Tell and his Jewish former communist mother Heather; some time in an upstate New York commune with Heather; Tell kidnapping Schreiber back from Heather; a custody battle won by Heather, followed by a childhood for Schreiber dominated by his mother’s penury (they frequently had no electricity, hot water, or even beds).
He endured her mood swings and bohemian proclivities (she made him take Hindu names, wear yoga shirts, and he was forced, briefly, to go to an Ashram school in Connecticut when he was 12). It culminated in a fractured ankle during football practice at Brooklyn Tech in 1984, when the 17-year-old Schreiber was forced to turn away from sports and eventually towards the stage.
Acting, says Schreiber, is therapy. “I may have been working out my relationship with my mother and my father all along, and I probably will be for the rest of my life. But then that’s one of the luxuries of being an actor — it’s about self-exploration.”
He is now based in Manhattan and in a long-term relationship with fellow actor Naomi Watts, and his life at the moment is defined by the couple’s two infant children, Sasha, 17 months, and four-week-old Samuel Kai. “Remember that voyage of self-exploration I was talking so fondly about just then?” he says, chuckling to himself. “Well it just ends. You go, ‘Awhh sh-t! No more me time!’” He then sighs and quietly confesses: “I am struggling, though. It’s f***ing hard. So little sleep. It’s 23 hours and 59 minutes of exhaustion. But then they do one little thing in that last minute that is just so compelling and fascinating that it makes the other 23 hours and 59 minutes worthwhile.”

Do they work extra hard to give their own kids the “normal” childhood they never had? Or do they screw up their own kids in the same old ways? In the interview, Liev also takes more about X-Men Origins, and his future theatre and film roles.
Schreiber’s next role is even more action-packed — he stars as the mutant supervillain Sabretooth opposite Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine in the comic blockbuster X-Men Origins this summer. The role, which required four months of bulking up and working out (transforming his already imposing 6ft 3in frame into a thing of hulking beauty), is the final step in Schreiber’s transformation from a man who’s all brains into one with muscles too.
“I like to think I’m part of the new Obama transition,” he says, tongue deeply in cheek. “Obama is hermetically intelligent, he knows what he wants and he never screws up. So maybe now there’s room for intelligent action heroes too.”
The real kick here is the sheer breadth of Schreiber’s professional evolution. A Tony award-winning stage dynamo, he has repeatedly wowed New York critics and crowds alike with his headlining Shakespearean roles (from Cymbeline to Hamlet to Henry V and beyond) since graduating from Yale School of Drama in 1992. “I do think there is some truth to the notion that you have little to fear from any role if you can comfortably break down a Shakespearean soliloquy,” he says, without false modesty.
Furthermore, he adds, children give you some much needed perspective on your work. Because despite the fact that he has a summer blockbuster on the way, and a romantic comedy with Helen Hunt called Every Day, plus a Jude Law sci-fi film, Repossession Mambo, he is still wildly unsure of his career prospects. “You can never be comfortable as an actor,” he says. “It’s like Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle. The minute you name an event it ceases to exist. It’s like that with acting. The minute you say you’re happy with your career, it’s gone. Over.”
