Both the men and women dropped the baton in the preliminary raises Thursday night for the 400 meter relay.
Men Darvis Patton and Tyson Gay disconnected first then USA Women Torri Edwards and Lauryn Williams disconnect on their hand offs!
This means that Lauryn Williams has now been involved in two faulty Olympic hand offs resulting in loosing a chance at a medal for her team!
They have got o be hurting tonight, can you imagine working all your life for that one moment an then just like that its over!
