Latest Update In The Death Of A.J. Jewell Ex-Fiance To Kandi Burruss, “The Real Housewives Of Atlanta”

The ex-fiance of “Housewives” star Kandi Burruss was walking and talking after the fight that led to his death.
Initial reports made it seem like Ashley “A.J.” Jewell was left for dead after the fight — which occurred outside of a strip club in Atlanta on Friday night — but law enforcement sources say that wasn’t the case.
Witnesses told authorities A.J. was walking and talking after the fight — and he didn’t even take an ambulance to the hospital, instead hitching a ride with one of his friends.
Suspect Fredrick Richardson is being held without bail and has been charged with voluntary manslaughter.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office says A.J.’s body showed evidence of a physical altercation — and they’re trying to determine the extent of those injuries while also looking to see if there “was another cause of death.”
The M.E.’s Office also says contrary to other reports, there were no stab wounds found on Jewell’s body.
Fredrick Richardson is being represented by Atlanta defense attorney Dennis Scheib.
Here’s what the AJC had to say about yesterday’s court appearance:
Richardson, his right fingers in a cast, said little during his first court appearance Tuesday morning.
Coming into the jail courtroom, Richardson waived to his 70-year-old mother and one of three children sitting in the rear, behind a glass partition. He spoke only to acknowledged to the judge that he understood the charges against him and that he had an attorney.
While waiting for the hearing to start, Scheib told reporters Jewell started the dispute with Richardson, the general manager at the club since May.
Scheib said Jewell was stretched out on Richardson’s sofa in his office “with a gun” beside him earlier in the day Friday.
Richardson said to Jewell “‘what are you doing?’ He [Jewell] said ‘I’ve got something for you,’” Scheib said.
According to Richardson, Scheib said, Jewell then pulled back the slide on the handgun.
Later in the parking lot, “A.J. comes out and says ‘I’ve got something for you.’ He takes off his shirt.. and hits Richardson twice,” Scheib said.
The two exchange blows and then Richardson leaves the parking lot. He went to the hospital to have his broken index finger treated. Scheib said. As Richardson was driving out of the parking lot, “A.J. was walking away. He wasn’t beaten to death,” Scheib said.
Jewell died later that night at Piedmont Hospital
“We don’t know what killed him,” Scheib said, complaining that a manslaughter charge is premature.
Scheib said Jewell may have had a health problem that caused his death.
Detectives said the deadly argument apparently came out of a slight and a disagreement over the club.
“They had some words about a business decision,” said Lt. Keith Meadows, head of the Atlanta Police Department’s homicide unit. “It seems like there was a struggle for power over the club.”
Fredrick is due back in court on October 20.
It is going to be very interesting to hear all the facts come out in this case. From the argument Fredrick’s attorney is making, it appears Jewell may have been the cause of his own fate.
On a sidenote: The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion show was set to tape today-no word on if that has been postponed or how involved Kandi will be.
**AJ’s funeral will be held Friday at the Ray of Hope Christian Church on Snapfinger Road in DeKalb County. The time has not yet been determined. A visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Donald Trimble Mortuary in Decatur.

‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Danielle Staub Criminal History

According to The Defamer, the 45-year-old reality star is a former drug-abusing exotic dancer, who went under different aliases, including Beverly Merrill. She was arrested once.
Cop Without A Badge, an out-of-print book about felon-turned-informant Kevin Maher, links Staub to crimes including kidnapping and extortion.
Danielle says that she is “baffled” by the criminal claims, but promos for this week’s show have alluded to the fact that she has an illicit past that dates back to the 1980s. A Bravo rep has declined to comment on the matter, simply saying, “Tune in next week and watch what happens.”

ShamWow Dude Gets Tongue Bitten By Prostitute, Then Gets Arrested!

ShamWow pitchman Vince Shlomi was arrested last month in Miami Beach for punching a hooker after she allegedly “bit his tongue and would not let go.”
The ShamWow guy just got a little more interesting…
The incident happened after Vince Shlomi allegedly hired a hooker and brought her back to his hotel. The Smoking Gun reports that the ShamWow guy started kissing her and that’s when she latched on to his tongue.
Vince then punched her several times to get her to let go. Both were arrested for felony aggravated battery.
Prosecutors didn’t file formal charges against the ShamWow guy or the prostitute.
I feel like after this ‘event’ Shamwow will become its own verb as in “You Just Got ShamWowed!!!!”
That hooker looks pretty darn pleased with herself… Meanwhile Schlomi looks like a methed out homeless dude that apparently has $1000 to blow on hookers(no pun intended.)

Howard K. Stern Arrested In Anna Nicole Drug Conspiracy

Anna Nicole Smith’s former companion Howard K. Stern and two doctors were charged Thursday with conspiracy to furnish Smith with drugs before she died in 2007 of an overdose.
The 40-year-old attorney was arrested in L.A. and booked. He was released on $20,000 bail.

Turns Out Terrence Howard Hits Woman Too… Disgraceful!

Terrence Howard probably wishes he would have kept his mouth shut about the Chris Brown-Rihanna assault scandal.
After Chris’ arrest for assaulting his girlfriend Rihanna last week, the actor rallied to the defense of the accused batterer, telling members of the paparazzi:
“It’s just life, man. Chris is a great guy. He’ll be alright. And Rihanna knows he loves her, you know? They’ll be alright.”
Terrence later apologized for his remarks, but not before The Smoking Gun unearthed documents revealing that the Oscar-nominated actor was once arrested for beating his estranged wife.
Terrence was arrested by Pennsylvania cops in September 2001 for assaulting his estranged wife.
While McCommas was speaking with a police dispatcher, Howard “showed up at the victim’s residence and began breaking the door down.” McCommas ran to the rear of the house and into the backyard. Howard then “broke the front door down and ran through the screen door in the kitchen. Howard then grabbed the victim’s left arm and punched her twice with a closed fist in the left side of the face.”
According to a Whitemarsh Police Department report, after Howard and Lori McCommas argued on the phone, the actor warned, “Don’t disrespect me by hanging up on me or I’ll come over and hurt you.” McCommas then “hung up and contacted 911 fearing Howard was serious.”
When a Whitemarsh cop responded to the scene, Howard admitted, “I broke the door down and hit my wife.”
I knew Terrence was a douche bag but I had no idea he was this kinda tool!! Unbelievable!

Trading Spaces Designer Doug Wilson Popped For DUI.

Tis the season… to get arrested.
Hot on the heels of the news that Matt Dillon and Charles Barkley have been arrested comes word that Trading Spaces‘ Doug Wilson has been popped for a DUI.
The designer spent a few hours in the clink after he was arrested early Tuesday morning for driving under the influence in Illinois.
Doug was pulled over at approximately 1 a.m. after failing to yield to a police vehicle, which had its lights and sirens wailing, a spokesperson for the Decatur County Jail said. He was taken into custody and charged with aggravated DUI, driving on a suspended license, failing to yield the right-of-way to an emergency vehicle and unlawful transportation of alcohol.
He was released on $1,000 bond.
What is it with these DUI’s people take cabs for goodness sake!!!

Charles Barkley DUI Arrest.

NBA legend Charles Barkley was arrested for suspicion of DUI in Arizona early Wednesday.
Police say they noticed the 45-year-old TV analyst running a stop sign in the Old Town section of Scottsdale around 1:30 a.m. He was pulled over by officers and later arrested.
Barkley was issued a citation for driving while impaired and released shortly thereafter pending the results of a blood test.
He went home in a taxi.
Rumor has it Barkley was out partying with friends which included Jaleel White better known to us all as Tv’s ‘Erkel’ from Family Matters.

Matt Dillon Arrested For Excessive Speeding.

Actor Matt Dillon was arrested for speeding in Bradford, Vt. late Tuesday.
Matt and his Chevy Impala were clocked by radar sprinting down Interstate 91, north of Newbury, at 106 mph in a 65 mph zone. Vermont State Police pulled him over and charged him with excessive speed.
The actor was released and has been ordered to appear in court on January 21.

Man Shot For Making Too Much Noise In Movie Theatre During 'The Curious Case Of Benjamin Buttons'

Next time your in a theatre and some one asks you to be quiet remember this:
A man enraged by a noisy family sitting near him in a movie theater on Christmas night shot the father of the family in the arm, police said.
James Joseph Cialella, 29, of Philadelphia, faces six charges that include attempted murder and aggravated assault. He remained in custody Saturday.
Police said Cialella told the man’s family to be quiet, then threw popcorn at the man’s son. The victim, whom television reports identified as Woffard Lomax, told police that Cialella was walking toward his family when he stood up and was shot.

Cisco Adler Gets In A Bar Fight Over Unpaid Bar Tab- Gets Arrested.

Cisco Adler’s looks could only take him so far. The unkempt Whitestarr frontman managed to find his way into the hearts of Hollywood hotties Mischa Barton, Kimberly Stewart and Paris Hilton, but now he’s made it into the clink.
Following a show with Schwayze Wednesday at the Hub in Fargo, N.D., Adler was arrested for simple assault after punching a man during an argument that began over an unpaid tab, Fargo Police Department spokesman Sgt. Jeff Skuza told E! News. “The band was playing and then they wouldn’t pay their tab,” Skuza said. “There was a disagreement about that and as [Adler] was being escorted out, he punched one of the security personnel,” said Skuza. “He was part of a large group that was fighting.”
According to dispatch logs, authorities were called around 12:30 a.m. with reports of a brawl involving up to 15 people, including venue security and management. Adler was taken into custody and released an hour later after posting $500 bail.
But although he might not be welcome at the Hub again anytime soon, his partner in rhyme, Shwayze, had his back. “A fight broke out between tour staff and 10 bouncers, Cisco appropriately defended himself, and will be performing in tonight’s soldout show,” Schwayze’s rep, David Patton, told E! News.
