Posted on 23. Sep, 2009 by CSS.

Renee Zellweger won’t be piling on the pounds to reprise her role as overweight diary-keeper Bridget Jones in the latest addition to the popular Bridget Jones’ Diary film franchise — she’ll don a fat suit instead.
The Oscar-winning star has signed on for a third film about the unlucky in love Brit and her quest to become a mother in her 40s. But instead of embarking on a high-fat diet as she did for the 2001 and 2004 films Renee will wear a costume to make her appear larger, according to Britains Reveal Magazine learned on Tuesday.
“Renee will be wearing a fat suit in the third film as it took her a while to lose the weight last time. She’s also thinking about the effect quickly putting on and then losing 30 pounds has on her body,” a production source reveals.

Drew Barrymore Upsets At Toronto Film Festival, No Show For “Whip It” Press Junket
Posted on 21. Sep, 2009 by CSS.

Drew Barrymore aggravated organizers at the Toronto International Film Festival after failing to show up at a press event for her directorial debut Whip It.
The star skipped the scheduled press junket for the upcoming roller derby movie, which stars Oscar-nominated actress Ellen Page and hip-hop star Eve, at the Canadian festival over the weekend. Barrymore blamed a sore throat for the absence, but sources tell The New York Post the actress was feeling ill after partying too hard at the star-studded festival earlier in the week.
“They had a press junket for Whip It at the Park Hyatt, and Drew completely bailed. The reason she cancelled is supposedly because she lost her voice.”

Michael Jackson’s Son Reportedly Going To Play Him In Biopic Film
Posted on 21. Sep, 2009 by CSS.

Michael Jackson’s alleged lovechild will reportedly play the King of Pop in proposed biopic inspired by his life.
Omer Bhatti, who Jackson Family patriarch Joe Jackson claims is the singer’s firstborn son, will recreate his father’s rise to fame on the big screen, if reports from British tabloid The Sun are to be believed.
“The family is close to Omer, as Michael was. He is a fantastic performer and they would like him to play the adult Michael,” The Sun quoted a family friend as saying. “Michael’s story from childhood to the height of success is nothing short of astounding. It needs to be told and that’s what his family want.”
Omer, who has worked as a Jackson impersonator and currently resides at the family’s multimillion compound in Encino, California, will reportedly star in the film that would focus on the Thriller legend during the height of his superstardom in his 20s — before the child abuse controversy that ruined his career in 1993.
“The family feel fans would love to see a dramatic retelling. They want to cover his childhood and family life but focus on when his career went into overdrive.”
