Audrina Patridge Slaps Stalker Zachary Loring With Restraining Order

A judge has granted MTV reality star Audrina Patridge a temporary restraining order against a man recently arrested outside her Los Angeles home.
“I can confirm that Audrina Patridge filed a restraining order against an overzealous fan,” her rep confirmed in a statement to E! News. “Audrina and her family have no relationship with this person.”
According to a petition filed in Los Angeles Superior Court Friday, Zachary Loring, 24, first appeared outside Audrina’s home on Aug. 26 and returned several days later. He was arrested on Aug. 30 and released a day later.
During his visits, Loring presented the star, who is also 24, with a packet of letters and drawings, including one that showed a woman being strangled when he first went to her home, the filing reveals.
“Ms. Patridge is in great fear of returning to her home and is currently staying outside of Los Angeles County due to her fear for her personal and physical safety,” her attorney wrote in the restraining order petition.
The order requires Loring to remain 100 yards away from Audrina and her younger brother, Mark, and to not try to contact either of them.
Audrina, a star of the MTV series The Hills, is featured alongside Rumer Willis in the new slasher flick Sorority Row, now in theaters.

Courtney Love Threatening Legal Action Over Kurt Cobain Guitar Hero 5 Game

Eccentric singer Courtney Love is threatening legal action against game giant Activision — who brought her late husband, rocker Kurt Cobain, back to life for the latest edition of Guitar Hero.
The firm created a Cobain character for Guitar Hero 5, which arrived in stores September 1. In the game, the late Nirvana star appears alongside fellow legend’s Jimi Hendrix and Johnny Cash.
Activision claims it received the green light from the rocker’s bandmates and widow Love, who is one of the shareholders in Cobain’s estate, before featuring him in the game. However, Courtney insists she didn’t approve the use of Cobain’s image — and has taken to her Twitter page to warn Activision of a pending lawsuit.
“For the record this Guitar Hero s*** is breach of contract on a Bullys (sic) part and there will be a proper addressing of this and retraction,” a furious Courtney wrote. “We are going to sue the s*** out of Activision we being the Trust the Estate the LLC the various LLCs Cobain Enterprises.”

Shawne Merriman Arrested After Allegedly Assaulting Tila Tequila

Authorities in San Diego say San Diego Chargers star linebacker Shawne Merriman has been arrested on suspicion of choking and restraining MySpace vixen turned TV reality star Tila Tequila, as she tried to leave his Southern California home.
San Diego County Sheriff’s Lt. Gary Steadman says Tila Tequila, 27, placed a distress call from a home in Poway, north of San Diego, early Sunday. Her boyfriend, Merriman, was later charged with battery and false imprisonment.
A lawyer for Merriman has denied all charges against his sport-star client, insisting he was simply trying to prevent an “extremely inebriated” Tequila from traveling home when he didn’t deem it safe for her to do so alone.
“During the evening, Ms. Tequila was extremely intoxicated, inebriated and Mr. Merriman did everything he could to assist her in arranging for transportation to leave his home,” Todd Macaluso, Merriman’s attorney, said in a statement Sunday. “At no time did Mr. Merriman assault her; at no time did Mr. Merriman keep her against her will. His intentions were nothing but good.”
Tila was taken to a hospital following the incident. She began dating Merriman in July, sparking a bitter feud with his former flame, hip-hop video vixen Gloria Velez. The petite minx, whose real name is Tila Nguyen, is best known for her MTV dating reality show, ‘A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila.’
Shawne Merriman has since released this statement to FoxSports.com:
“On September 6, 2009 the San Diego Sheriff’s Department responded to a citizen’s complaint that was initiated by Tila Nguyen (aka Tila Tequila). I was taken into custody based upon that complaint. At the time, I was concerned about her welfare given the intoxicated state she appeared to be in and I encouraged her to stay until safe transportation could be provided.
“We would all do our best to help a friend if we considered their actions to be detrimental to their personal safety. I in no way caused any harm to Ms. Nguyen, however, paramedics were called and she was examined but no injuries were reported. She was released and has since returned to Los Angeles, California.
“There have been no charges filed against me. I want to thank the San Diego Sheriff’s Department for their professionalism. I will continue to cooperate fully with the Department, and I look forward to clearing my name regarding these false allegations. I want to put this behind me so I can continue to focus on a successful season for the San Diego Chargers.”
Tila took to her Twitter Account to rebut the linebacker’s statement by typing:
“I am allergic to alcohol. It has been publicly known for years. That is how I got the name Tila “Tequila” cuz the irony. I cant drink”

‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Danielle Staub’s Sordid Past Unearthed Via ‘The Smoking Gun’

Danielle Staub, the cougar ex-con featured prominently on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey, has a much more sordid past than she’s admitted to on the hit reality show.
During last week’s season finale, Danielle only admitted to being arrested once and changing her name after she was exposed in Cop Without a Badge, an out-of-print 1995 book about her ex-husband.
But according to explosive federal court records unearthed on The Smoking Gun Tuesday, Danielle a paid escort that she was arrested by the FBI in Miami in 1986 for her part in a violent kidnapping plot, masterminded by her then-boyfriend, a cocaine dealer with ties to dangerous Colombian drug cartels.
It’s times like this that you gotta love The Smoking Gun- they always uncover the legal truth! Danielle should have known this wouldn’t stay hidden…

Brooke Sheilds Releases Statement On Kiefer Sutherland-Jack Mccollough Fight

On Monday, lawyers for actress Brooke Shields released a statement in response to reports that she witnessed the alleged argument — and subsequent headbutting –between Kiefer Sutherland and fashion designer Jack McCollough that lead to the 24 star’s collar on third degree assault charges last Friday.
Kiefer allegedly headbutted the Proenza Schouler designer during a MET Costume Gala after party last week.
“A number of statements have been attributed to Ms. Shields in the media that are neither true nor authorized. These statements were obviously made by those who were not in attendance at the party and constitute their version of events,” her lawyers told Entertainment Tonight.
“While at the party she [Shields] was bumped into by Jack McCollough and Kiefer Sutherland became concerned. Kiefer has always been a gentleman in her company. Both Jack and Kiefer are friends of Ms. Shields and she regrets this unfortunate situation,” the statment continued.

Rev Run's Son JoJo Arrested On Drug Charges

According to the NYDN, JoJo Simmons, oldest son of legendary rapper, Joseph “Run” Simmons of RUN-DMC was arrested on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, Friday night for purchasing an unconfirmed amount of Marijuana.
Jojo was behind the wheel of his BMW, which has “JoJo” embroidered on the head rests, rolling a joint when the narcotics officers came up and knocked on his window.
At that point sources claim he attempted to put the vehicle in reverse and escape from the scene almost strking a NYPD vehicle.
Simmons was charged with criminal use of drug paraphernalia, possession of Marijuana, resisting arrest and attempted reckless endangerment. The attempted reckless endangerment charge was dropped by a judge yesterday-the charge would carry a felony sentence.
Though a statement has yet to be released from the Simmons Family, Rev Run issued a short message regarding the matter via his Twitter pager, “You can learn many things from your Children.. (Patience for instance! 
”.
JoJo’s older sister Vanessa also made a statement via her Twitter page playing down the charges “As humans, we all make mistakes … they make up your life lessons and experiences … Jojo is ok, he just made a oops …”
I’ve made my fair share of ‘Oops’ in my life- but thankfully none of those included me running from the police!

Comedian Robert Schimmel Arrested For Beating His Wife

Comedian and Howard Stern show regular Robert Schimmel was arrested early Saturday for alleged spousal abuse of his young wife Melissa Schimmel.
Robert Schimmel is best known for x-rated blue humor, as well as his survival of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. He apparently went through a mid life crisis after surviving the disease, as he divorced his first wife Vicki (for the third time) and married Melissa who is half his age.
Schimmel is the author of “Cancer on $5 a Day” and frequently appears on Stern and the Conan O’Brien show.

Lindsay Lohan Possibly Seeking Palimony From Ex Samantha Ronson

If Samantha Ronson thought dumping Lindsay Lohan was going to get the fallen child star out of her hair once and for all, she’s in for a rude awakening.
Just two weeks after the former couple’s often volatile romance came crashing to a halt, Lindsay Lohan has threatened to file a palimony suit against her one-time live-in lover.
Lindsay –who has not enjoyed a serious acting gig since the 2007 stinker I Know Who Killed Me– paid for everything during her nearly two year relationship with Samantha.

Star Magazine claims: “Before Lindsay, Sam was making $10,000 a DJ gig. Now she makes $100,000. Lindsay wants a cut, like 10 percent of her future earnings for the next five years.”

Bruce Springsteen Responds To Cheating Allegations:

Bruce Springsteen has spoken out about being named the other man in a New Jersey man’s divorce filing this week.The rock legend vehemently denies that he has been anything other than faithful to his wife of more than 20 years, backup singer Patti Scialfa.
A rep for The Boss told the New Jersey Star-Ledger Thursday that the singer stands by a statement he issued on his website after being named in another affair in August 2006.
“Patti and I have been together for 18 years—the best 18 years of my life,” he wrote then—and reiterates now. “We have built a beautiful family we love and want to protect and our commitment to one another remains as strong as the day we were married.”
Court papers filed in the divorce between Arthur Kelly and Ann C. Kelly New Jersey this week read: She “has committed adultery with one Bruce Springsteen, who resides in Rumson, N.J., and Colts Neck, N.J., at various times and places too numerous to mention.”
