On The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Tuesday night, The Soloist star Jamie Foxx publicly apologized for controversial remarks he made about teen actress Miley Cyrus during his Foxxhole Radio Show this week.

“I so apologize to [Cyrus], and this is sincere,”
he began.
“I am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don’t mean any of it. [Big laugh from the audience]. And sometimes, as comedians, as we do, we go a little bit too far.”

“I have a radio show…We’re really the black Howard Stern. We go at everybody. There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologize for what I said. I didn’t mean it maliciously. You know I’m a comedian. You know my heart,” he added.

“Miley, I apologize, so I’ll call you. I got a daughter too, so I completely understand.”

“And I know what your next question is going to be — you’re going to ask me, ‘Why are you engaged if you’re not the marrying type?’”
Megan quipped.

shia-hand injury bad www.hometownhollywood.com

Shia LaBeouf still has not regained full use of his left hand nine months after the star was severely injured in a car accident in Hollywood.

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly Shia, who reunites with Megan Fox in the Transformers sequel Revenge of the Fallen June 24, says he has no bone left in one finger on his bandaged hand and has confirmed that he will likely never have full use of the limb again.

“I’ve had screws and plates put in,” he explains. “They put a screw in one of my knuckles. And they shaved a piece of bone off my hip and made a [bone for my] finger out of it.”

How is the hand now? “I’m on my third surgery. That’s coming up in a week or two [from April 2]. My middle finger is still crooked as a f***ing noodle, so they’ve gotta straighten it out and put a screw in it.”

How much usage will you get back of your left hand? “Probably about 80-something percent. I’ll be able to make a fist again. There’s a knuckle I’ll never be able to move again, but that’s probably the only permanent damage, other than the scarring.”
Check out the trailer for Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen:
How debilitating has it been to have no use of your left hand all these months? “It’s hard to do anything. It’s hard to button your pants or brush your teeth, let alone jump off a three-story building into a pad. This movie was the most physical thing I’ve ever had to do, and I had to do it with a broken hand.”

Nicollette Sheridan Speaks Out About Her Departure From 'Desperate Housewives'

nicolette sheridan speaks out www.hometownhollywood.com DH

Former Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan says that killing off her character, the vampy Edie Britt, could have “devastating ramifications” on the award-winning ABC dramedy.

“I think whoever Edie represented in Marc’s [show creator Marc Cherry] life was somebody he didn’t like. And he had a very difficult time distinguishing between fact and fiction,” the star says in a new interview with TVGuide

“[Killing off Edie] was a risky decision that could have devastating ramifications.”

Nicollette says her run on D.H. started out exciting, but the fun began to fizzle out several seasons ago: “When the show started it was such a different beast. It was exciting and dangerous and funny and edgy and bizarre. It started feeling a little complacent, and that was very frustrating.”

“I said, ‘OK, sayonara. It’s been a great ride. Thank you,” she says of her final hurrah on Desperate.

Series creator Marc Cherry says Nicollette’s exit is simply a money matter. Marc claims Desperate Housewives has been having financial troubles and cutting Nicollette from the cast will save the show $100-$200,000 an episode.

“There has been tremendous pressure put on me to cut costs…the network is saying to all the shows, ‘The company is really hurting financially. You must find a way to produce these shows more cheaply,’” he tells TVGuide

“Edie already slept with most of the guys on the street and has caused about as many problems as she could. … We will find a new kind of sexiness coming through Wisteria Lane,” he added. “What I won’t do is cast another fortysomething sexy blonde. … [Nicollette] performed the aging neighborhood tramp better than anyone has ever done before.”

Jennifer Garner Talks To 'In Touch' About Hubby Ben Affleck

jen-garner talks hubby ben affleck www.hometownhollywood.com

Here’s why I love Jennifer Garner: she’s beautiful, she’s talented, but she is also one of the most down to earth, real personalities in Hollywood. She seems like a great, hands-on mom, a devoted wife, and doesn’t let the Hollywood machine get to her. She goes out without makeup and wearing ratty underwear one day, then all made up and looking radiant on the red carpet the next. Jennifer says the reason why her marriage to Ben Affleck works is because she accepted him – faults and all – from day one, and never tried to “fix” him.

Second-time new mom Jennifer Garner returns to the big screen in the new romantic comedy Ghosts of Girlfriends Past with Matthew McConaughey. But in real life, her leading man is Ben Affleck, her husband of almost four years and dad to daughters Violet, 3, and Seraphina, 3 months.

“Ben is pretty ideal as far as I’m concerned,” says Jennifer. “I don’t think you could do any better. I don’t think there’s a lovelier person.”

And it’s a good thing Ben is so perfect to Jennifer, considering what she learned from her mother.

My mom’s solid piece of advice to my sisters was, ‘Never marry a guy thinking you can change him,’” says Jennifer, 37. “Don’t get in there and think you can start to tinker. So, I’m not a fixer.”

Q: How is it having two little girls in your household?

I’m certainly not sleeping. Violet was a good sleeper, typically. But now that there is a new baby, she wakes up when the baby wakes up. She wants me, too, so there are times when they are both up all the time.

Q: What do you do about it?

I go from one to the other all the time.

Q: What is the most appealing thing about the opposite sex?

As far as I’m concerned, the sexiest thing about a man is when he changes diapers. Maybe except for defusing a tantrum!
