Hilary Duff Talks Faye Dunaway Feud:
Posted on 10. Feb, 2009 by CSS.

On The Bonnie Hunt Show Tuesday, actress Hilary Duff says she doesn’t regret publicly dissing Hollywood screen legend Faye Dunaway.
The drama started when Faye, 68, pooh-poohed Hilary’s acting skills after learning that the 21-year-old would reprise her role as “Bonnie Parker” in an upcoming remake of the 1967 film Bonnie and Clyde.
Hilary shot back, saying “None of my fans even knew who she is.”
“I’d be mad, too, if I looked like that now!” she added.
In her chat with Bonnie, Hilary admits her remark was mean, but says, “It’s not OK for people to take stabs at you and to say mean things for no reason.”
“She started acting way later than I did so I think I have time to grow and grow with each project,” she says. “I am learning and work hard at my craft.”
I for one was really glad to see her snap back at Faye Dunaway- I thought Faye’s insults were unwarranted and just plain ugly!

Sandra Bullock 'InStyle' March 2009 Cover Photo
Posted on 10. Feb, 2009 by CSS.
Sandra looks amazing on the cover of Instyle March 2009 Edition!
In her interview with Instyle Sandra opens up about being a mom and the future possibility of bioligical kids or adoption.
On her marriage with Jesse James: “Thankfully I married someone who loves me just the way I am – and all the nuttiness that goes into me.”
On being a step-mom & future kids: “I have family in spades,” Sandra, 44, says in the March 2009 issue of InStyle. The actress’s husband has three children from two marriages, son Jesse Jr., 11, and daughters Chandler, 14, and Sunny, 5.
“Everything we do is about the kids,” she says. I haven’t had children biologically. I had shut that off; then I met Jesse, and it turned on again. I was like, ‘Oh, that’s that feeling.’ ”
“We realized we had to take care of some other things on this planet first. I hope to God when we get to a place where all is safe, calm, happy and healthy, it’s not too late,” she says.
“If I waited too long, it’s because we were supposed to do other things. If it is just too late? There are millions of children on this planet that I would be honored to call my own.”
Bullock has a new film coming out All About Steve. The comedy revolves around a brilliant crossword puzzler (Bullock) who, after one short date, decides that a cable news cameraman (Bradley Cooper) is her true love. Because the cameraman’s job takes him hither and yon, she crisscrosses the country, turning up at media events as she tries to convince him they are perfect for each other. Thomas Haden Church also stars.
This film is being produced by Bullock’s very own production company, Fortis Films.
All About Steve hits theatres March 6, 2009

Oh My! Nadya Suleman Food Stamps: Public Assistance For Octuplets Mom
Posted on 10. Feb, 2009 by CSS.
I’ve got good news for taxpayers in the Great State of California. You get to help support our country’s first surviving set of octuplets!!
Nadya Suleman, the 33-year-old mother of six who gave birth to eight babies two weeks ago, has been receiving public assistance benefits, Los Angeles Times has learned.
Nadya, of Whittier, California, will receive $490 a month in food stamps, in addition the so-called octomom receives SSI benefits for three of her children, who are disabled, according to The Times.
As you may recall, in a recent interview with The Today Show’s Ann Curry, Nadya said that she was not on welfare.
“I’m not receiving help from the government. I’m not trying to expect anything from anybody. [I] just wanted to do it on my own. Any resources that someone would really, really want to help us, I will accept, I would embrace.”
Well, she has an interesting reason for saying that.
“In Nadya’s view, the money that she gets from the food stamp program … and the resources disabilities payments she gets for her three children are not welfare,” says Nadya’s publicist Michael Furtney . “They are part of programs designed to help people with need, and she does not see that as welfare.”
Oh, so we are splitting hairs now?? Come on Nadya, what do you think welfare is? Nadya, you may want to go and hire yourself a new publicist- one who wont make you sound like the total idiot that you truly are!!

Clive Owen Interview In 'Us Weekly'
Posted on 07. Feb, 2009 by CSS.
US Weekly has a little interview with Clive Owen to promote his new film The International.
Clive talks about his wife and his daughters in the interview as well as up coming co-star Julia Roberts:
I think it’s safe to say I would buy a magazine with only pictures of Clive Owen in various red carpet poses.
Hollywood luckiest leading man? This year Clive Owen is starring with two of the town’s hottest actresses. First, the British actor, 44, portrays an Interpol agent taking down a corrupt world bank in The International (out February 13), alongside Naomi Watts. Next, the father of two (he’s been married to Sarah-Jane Fenton for 13 years) reunites with Julia Roberts in the thriller Duplicity (out March 20). He opens up to US about his star stints.
US: The International is action-packed. Did you do many of your own stunts?
Clive: I always do as much as I can, but I’m perfectly willing for somebody else to step in. If it’s getting to a dangerous level, I will go, “That’s what this man is getting paid for.”US: What was is like to film in so many locations, including Turkey and Italy?
Clive: Amazing. The end of the movie was filmed on the roof of the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. We filmed me tearing through it all with a gun and real people were everywhere. It was shocking.US: How do you balance work and being a father?
Clive: I’ve been lucky. Last year, I got to spend the summer home with the girls [Hannah, age 11 and Eve, age 9] before they went back to school, and then I did a film. We had proper family time together.US: How was it working with Julia again?
Clive: It was such a treat. We had such a good time on Closer. It might not look that way, but we actually did.
-From US Weekly
Here’s some additional Clive Owen news: he will be appearing on The View this coming Friday (the 13th). Those ladies are going to have heart attacks, I promise. He’ll probably be all over American television, promoting his film, but I just wanted to make special mention of The View, because it really will be funny seeing those women get all hot and bothered in the presence of Clive. I predict Sherri Shepherd will make some flub….

Liv Tyler Gets Pretty Revealing In New Interview With 'Wonderland Magazine'
Posted on 07. Feb, 2009 by CSS.
Liv Tyler has a new interview with Wonderland Magazine that’s both unfiltered and endearing. You can tell that she had a good rapport with the interviewer almost from the start, and she let her guard down and shared some personal information about her relationship with her father, Steven Tyler, and how she’s dealing with the pain from her divorce with the help of good friends.
On her divorce
But the truth is that, it takes a long time, but you do kind of wake up one day and you just feel a little tiny bit better…There’s nothing worse than heartache, being lovesick. It’s like there’s a physical sickness. You go through a couple of weeks where you think , ‘Oh, I’m okay, I feel better,’ and then suddenly, out of nowhere, it hits you again… You also realise who your friends are. When Roy and I broke up, Bobby literally moved in with me and helped me get through everything. And my other best friend, Victoria, she’s with me in L.A. right now. The hardest part is when they leave… It also brings up a lot of issues: you might feel like a failure, or like there is something wrong with you. I see a lot of people run away from it, or they act like they don’t care. But if you don’t let yourself mourn, it’s going to come back and bite you on the ass. You can’t run away from yourself: you kind of have to just deal with it.”
On the paparazzi
I have more privacy in L.A. because you can run around in your yard. But the paparazzi are very weird, because they actually stalk you. Like they have someone wait in the car all the time, so whenever you leave…I’m really boring: I take my son to school; I go to the grocery store. So I don’t play their game. But it’s confusing because they kind of trick you. Some days they’re really obvious, and then some days you’re driving and you look back for them, and they’re not there, and you’ll feel like a weird narcissist. And then you’ll think: “Oh, I’m free.” So you’ll have two weeks where you can be in your sweats with no make-up on. And then, suddenly, you realize they have been there all the time, just hiding out.
On her relationship with biological dad Steven Tyler, who she first met when she was eight
You know that relationship is still sort of hard. He’s very busy, my dad. He’s not around very much; it’s sort of hard being the daughter of a rock star. There’s definitely, at times… it can be painful… especially for me, I can’t speak for all of his…[She trails off]…In the past few years we haven’t been very close. He has been going through a lot of things on his own and he has not been the… he hasn’t been around that much for us. So that’s been hard. But I probably shouldn’t be talking about this… I wish, I wish, I really wish he was around more, to know Milo more, and… but he has to go through what he goes through.

There’s something vulnerable and completely genuine about Tyler and I’m rooting for her! Hit the link above to read the entire article, I found it very interesting!

Nadya Suleman Photo With Ann Curry
Posted on 06. Feb, 2009 by CSS.
We’re getting our first look at the woman who gave birth to the world’s first surviving set of octuplets in a California hospital last week.
In an interview with NBC’s Ann Curry on Thursday, Nadya Suleman, 33, says she tried for seven years to get pregnant before she successfully conceived with in-vitro fertilization at a local facility – “and then I just kept going in.”
“That was always a dream of mine, to have a large family, a huge family, and — I just longed for certain connections and attachments with another person that I really lacked, I believe, growing up,” she explains.
Before the arrival of her six new sons and two daughters, Nadya was already the mother of six.
She blames her frequently-occupied uterus on a dysfunctional childhood.
“I just longed for certain connections and attachments with another person that I really lacked, I believe, growing up,” Nadya tells Ann. “I didn’t feel as though, when I was a child, I had much control of my environment,” she told Curry. “I felt powerless. And that gave me a sense of predictability. Reflecting back on my childhood, I know it wasn’t functional. It was pretty dysfunctional, and whose isn’t?”
I cant wait to hear the entire interview and not just excerpts! I hope Ann asks her straight up if she is hoping to get a tv deal out of this!

Watch the full interview on Today this Monday and on Dateline Tuesday, airing @ 10 p.m. EST on NBC.

Jennifer Aniston Celebrates 40th Birthday On 'ELLEN' Friday Feb. 6th
Posted on 06. Feb, 2009 by CSS.
Don’t forget to tune into The Ellen DeGeneres Show this Friday when the Emmy-winning chat queen tosses an informal 40th birthday party–complete with red velvet cake–for actress Jennifer Aniston.
The former Friends star stopped by Ellen’s reconstructed “Central Perk” set to promote her new chick flick He’s Just Not That Into You.
“I have to say really, I feel better than I ever felt in my life,” Jen tells El. “I did have a moment, though, over the weekend. My first like, ‘Huh … I don’t want to (turn 40)’. I found a really long gray hair and it kind of flipped me out. It’s not my first but it’s the fact that it was so long. I was like, ‘Oh, how many others are there and what does that mean?’ It actually brought me to tears slightly.”
Jennifer also revealed that she will be hosting a small party on Saturday in celebration of her birthday.
