Talk about telling the naked truth! In an interview with the Nov. issue of Marie Claire, double Oscar winner Hilary Swank admits that she walks around in the buff in front of her boyfriend’s 6-year-old son.

Don’t worry, the kid barely notices!

“You wonder at what age you should stop walking around nude,”
says the Amelia actress, now 35. “But he doesn’t look twice. He doesn’t think about it yet.”(I think we all just cringed!)

Two Oscars Must Get You Any Role You Want? “So not true. I really chase the things that I want. I don’t audition anymore, but I do go after things that I believe in. Someone will say, ‘Oh, I don’t see Hilary in that role because she’s not really that funny to me.’ So I’ll say that I want to sit down with them so that they meet the real person behind the characters. I usually get roles that are not the conventional beauty.”

How Does Hilary Relax?
“My relaxation has always been my animals—going to the dog park with them, going to the beach. I always try to carve out time in my day to be with them. On the last set I was on, I would just get a bike and ride around the studio with my dogs chasing me. It just gets me out of my head, you know what I mean?”

Hilary On Divorce & Friendship: “For a long time, I was a loner because [my ex-husband Chad Lowe] was my best friend, and we were really happy just hanging out, he and I. I think it was maybe five years ago that I realized how important my friends were to me, and I realized they were a big part of my letting go. When I got divorced three years ago, I needed them more than ever. I have really good girlfriends. Mariska Hargitay is my best friend.”

This obviously doesn’t qualify as “celebrity gossip,” but when the lunar surface is being destroyed — all in the pursuit of water — I like to talk about it. United States space agency NASA is bombing the moon in order to see what lies beneath its rock and dust surface. Oh — and this little “mission” is only costing American taxpayers a measly $79 million smackers.

Nasa’s LCROSS project hunted water on the moon by bulldozing two spacecrafts into the crater early Friday. The impact kicked up a cloud of debris that will be analysed for traces of water. The above video shows a simulation of the bombing, but you can head here for a play-by-play of this morning’s mission.

Matt Damon: "The Academy Awards Get It Wrong"

When it comes to honoring films, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences has it all wrong, Oscar-winning actor Matt Damon said in an interview with Parade on Thursday.

“I think that the best way to judge movies is, like, 10 years after they’re released. I think they should actually do the awards that way. I think they should have done the Academy Awards this year for movies from 1998.”

So instead of Slumdog Millionaire, filmgoers should be raving about Good Will Hunting?

Matt went on to say, ”I think it’s better to look at a movie and then step back and look at it again. I don’t think that the awards necessarily get it right. I think they get it wrong more often than they get it right.”

I don’t necessarily agree with his first idea about awards ten years later- However, I definitely agree that the Academy doesn’t always get it right!

Rachel Ray Response To Haters… It's A Good One!

Rachael Ray was recently asked what she thinks about the multitude of people who dislike her chipmunk-like happy persona and make fun of her, and she responded surprisingly well. She said they’re right that she’s a goof ball, but it’s not like she can do anything about it so she chooses not to focus on it or let it get her down. Rachael Ray bugs me too, but she definitely earned a lot of points with this thoughtful response. She also said she’s not some svelte model or actress, and that she’s a cook who has gone up and down in body sizes over the years. It happens.

Rachael Ray tells In Touch that she has one thing to say to critics who run web sites like IHateRachaelRay: “You’re right!” In an exclusive interview, Rachael says she understands why some find her annoying. “Most of the people who criticize me are absolutely correct,” she says. “I’m loud. I’m goofy. I don’t make my own pierogies. But what am I going to do, call them up and fight with them? You don’t deal with the people who don’t like you. I don’t work for them.”

Rachael blames the backlash on the fact that she spends time in people’s homes every day through her show. “That’s an intimate connection,” she explains. “If you try to be something you’re not, people will see through it.” She isn’t concerned about how she looks, either. “I haven’t been on a scale since I was 12,” Rachael says. For exercise, she does “the bare minimum so I can feel good enough to work: sit-ups and push-ups. I’m not an actress, I’m a cook. I’m sure I have been five or six different sizes since I have been on television, but I don’t care.

-From In Touch

Compare Ray’s very diplomatic response to the haughty way that Gwyneth Paltrow addresses her critics – by saying they have sad lives or somehow don’t “get” her unique brand of snobbery. Ray is like “yeah, I’m me, and there’s not much I can do.” She is annoying, but she’s not full of sh*t and that’s incredibly refreshing to hear. You go, Rachael Ray.

Bristol Palin Talks To FOX News, "Abstinence Not Realistic"

Sarah Palin may preach abstinence, but the Alaska governor’s 18-year-old daughter says the idea isn’t realistic.

In an interview with Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren Monday night, Bristol Palin, who gave birth to a son in December, says that the abstinence her mom preaches is “not realistic at all.”

Despite acknowledging that it isn’t reasonable to expect most teenagers to wait until marriage to have sex, Bristol cautioned that teen parenthood comes with its share of challenges.

“Everyone should wait 10 years,” Bristol said. “I hope people learn from my story.

“It’s so much easier if you’re married, have a house and career. It’s not a situation you want to strive for.”

She denied that her mother’s anti-abortion views were the reason she went ahead with the pregnancy.

“It was my choice to have the baby. It doesn’t matter what my mom’s views are on it. It was my decision.”

Liv Tyler Gets Pretty Revealing In New Interview With 'Wonderland Magazine'

Posted on 07. Feb, 2009 by CSS.

Liv Tyler has a new interview with Wonderland Magazine that’s both unfiltered and endearing. You can tell that she had a good rapport with the interviewer almost from the start, and she let her guard down and shared some personal information about her relationship with her father, Steven Tyler, and how she’s dealing with the pain from her divorce with the help of good friends.

On her divorce
But the truth is that, it takes a long time, but you do kind of wake up one day and you just feel a little tiny bit better…

There’s nothing worse than heartache, being lovesick. It’s like there’s a physical sickness. You go through a couple of weeks where you think , ‘Oh, I’m okay, I feel better,’ and then suddenly, out of nowhere, it hits you again… You also realise who your friends are. When Roy and I broke up, Bobby literally moved in with me and helped me get through everything. And my other best friend, Victoria, she’s with me in L.A. right now. The hardest part is when they leave… It also brings up a lot of issues: you might feel like a failure, or like there is something wrong with you. I see a lot of people run away from it, or they act like they don’t care. But if you don’t let yourself mourn, it’s going to come back and bite you on the ass. You can’t run away from yourself: you kind of have to just deal with it.”

On the paparazzi
I have more privacy in L.A. because you can run around in your yard. But the paparazzi are very weird, because they actually stalk you. Like they have someone wait in the car all the time, so whenever you leave…

I’m really boring: I take my son to school; I go to the grocery store. So I don’t play their game. But it’s confusing because they kind of trick you. Some days they’re really obvious, and then some days you’re driving and you look back for them, and they’re not there, and you’ll feel like a weird narcissist. And then you’ll think: “Oh, I’m free.” So you’ll have two weeks where you can be in your sweats with no make-up on. And then, suddenly, you realize they have been there all the time, just hiding out.

On her relationship with biological dad Steven Tyler, who she first met when she was eight
You know that relationship is still sort of hard. He’s very busy, my dad. He’s not around very much; it’s sort of hard being the daughter of a rock star. There’s definitely, at times… it can be painful… especially for me, I can’t speak for all of his…[She trails off]…

In the past few years we haven’t been very close. He has been going through a lot of things on his own and he has not been the… he hasn’t been around that much for us. So that’s been hard. But I probably shouldn’t be talking about this… I wish, I wish, I really wish he was around more, to know Milo more, and… but he has to go through what he goes through.

There’s something vulnerable and completely genuine about Tyler and I’m rooting for her! Hit the link above to read the entire article, I found it very interesting!
