Miley Cyrus has joined the lineup of all-star entertainers scheduled to take the stage at NBC’s 11th annual “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” next week.
The Hannah Montana star joins Beyoncé, Solange Knowles, Tony Bennett, The Jonas Brothers, and Rosie O’Donnell as one of the celebrities set to perform as the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center is lit on Wednesday.
“Christmas in Rockefeller Center,” hosted by actress Jane Krakowski and Today’s Al Roker, airs
December 3 at 8 p.m.

'Oprah's Favorite Things' Holiday 2008 Scaled Back Due To Recession.

There’ll be no free Pontiacs for O fans this holiday season.
Oprah is hosting a special bad economy edition of her annual “Favorite Things” show.
At a time when Americans need new, shiny items more than ever, the Queen of Talk has announced that she is scaling back her annual list of Christmas gift recommendations is response the tough global economy.
Show producers explained the new concept in a statement released on Friday:
“They’re some of Oprah’s favorite things, but this time there’s a twist…they cost next to nothing! On [Wednesday's] show, viewers reveal their creative ways to spend less over the holiday season. You’ll meet a mom who shows us how to create a one-of-a-kind treasure that comes straight from the heart Then, one family talks about their very own tradition that doesn’t cost a cent. You’ll also hear some great ideas to make your holiday party memorable and affordable. And, Oprah unveils a special gift that won’t cost you a thing! Find out how to have the thriftiest holidays ever.”
You Know that these tickets are the most sought after each year- I’m surprised people haven’t started killing themselves to get one! How disappointing for those audience members who think they are going to walk away with a ton of really expensive free stuff!

Miley Cyrus To Headline Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Miley Cyrus has been tapped to headline a star-studded set of performers at the 82nd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City later this month.
Hosted by The Today Show’s Matt Lauer, Meredith Vieira, and Al Roker, this year’s parade will also feature performances by American Idol 7’s David Archuleta, The Cheetah Girls, Trace Adkins, and Kristen Chenoweth.
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air November 27 at 9 AM on NBC.

Bette Midler’s New York Restoration Project threw their 13th annual Halloween party last night, and there were some amazing celeb costumes. The fancy soiree took place at the Waldorf Astoria and brought in some good B-list celebs last night.
It took me a few takes to realize that that was Michael Kors I was looking at- I kept thinking it was Delta Burke!
