Posted on 13. Apr, 2009 by CSS.

Fergie has just been announced as one of the guest performers at the 2009 White House Easter Egg Roll.
The theme for this year’s event is “Let’s Go Play,” and activities will be focused on teaching children the importance of exercise and exciting ways to stay active.
More than 30,000 guests have been invited to this year’s event which includes music performances, storytelling, and of course the Easter egg roll.
Click here to see the full schedule of Easter Monday events taking place at The White House.
I think it’s interesting that Fergie’s husband Josh Duhamel is also helping out today. He will be part of the Storytime Stage where he will be reading to the children. (By the way The White House spelled his last name incorrect!)

Hello New Yorkers Sean Combs Wants To Get You Home Safely Tonight!!
Posted on 31. Dec, 2008 by CSS.
Sean Combs has decided to do good this New Year’s Eve. He and his team have joined forces with New York’s Taxi and Limousine Commission to provide free cab rides home to New Yorkers who choose to celebrate the holiday with bottles of booze. $15 vouchers will be handed out at Times Square and in Chelsea from Wednesday at 11pm until early in the morning on Thursday. Combs says that even though New Years Eve should be fun, that doesn’t mean people should be taking risks:
New York is the world’s most iconic New Year’s Eve city, so let’s lead by example and show everyone that a sophisticated holiday celebration doesn’t just end when the ball drops, but when everyone gets home safely.
-From ContactMusic
This is sort of like a PSA in action. Instead of filming an ad, he’s actually taking it to the streets. That sounds pretty good to me. I actually Love this, there is nothing better to support than ringing in the new year safely!! Love, Love, Love This! And to everyone not in New York tonight- get your designated driver or put your taxi on speed dial because it is never ‘Ok’ to drive intoxicated! Way to go Combs!

Police Fearing Mob At The Jonas Brothers New Years Eve 2009 Performance
Posted on 31. Dec, 2008 by CSS.
At a recent meeting with producers of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, the New York Police Department expressed their apprehension over The Jonas Brothers’ scheduled New Years’ Eve performance in Times Square tonight.
The NYPD fears the eagerly-anticipated concert could result in a “mob scene,” with thousands of teenage girls expected to flood the streets of Manhattan for a glimpse of America’s most popular sibling singing trio.
“So they’re now planning on using extra [security] men for support,” a source tells People Magazine. “It’s going to be crazy because everyone will be in Times Square to watch them perform on the show.”
