Jordon and Jeff www.hometownhollywood.com 'bold and the beautiful'

Big Brother 11’s Jordon Lloyd and Jeff Schroeder will make their soap debut with a matching pair of cameo roles on CBS’s The Bold and the Beautiful this week.

The couple turned their showmance into the real deal after the camera’s stopped rolling.

“I liked her on the show, that was obvious,” Schroeder told People.

“But after the show ended I liked her even more. I get in trouble when I say that, because Jordon is like, ‘You didn’t like me on the show, and now you like me!?’ But what I mean is that I like her even more now that I see who she is outside of the Big Brother house.”

Schroeder added that dating outside the house wasn’t too big of a step since they already overcame one of the biggest obstacles facing their relationship.

“I thought that the biggest hurdle in a relationship was taking a dump in front of each other,”
he told People with a laugh. “We cleared that in the Big Brother house. As far as the relationship goes we have a leg up. We’ve fast forwarded a year!”

Lloyd also coyly answered when asked by People if she and Schroeder have consummated their new relationship.

“I think he’s waited long enough,”
she said.

In addition, Lloyd — who claimed the eleventh season’s $500,000 grand prize — said she has followed through on her plans to by her mother a new home, although it wasn’t as easy as she anticipated it would be.

“Right after the show, I got on the Internet, but I couldn’t find anything, and to make matters worse, my mom was being so picky,” she told People. “But I finally found something, and when my mom looked at it she fell in love with it!”

Lloyd said he celebrity status from the show also helped when she met with the house’s builders.

“I had put an offer on the house that was lower than what they were asking, and they took it because they were fans of the show, and they knew who I was. They just wanted an autograph, not even an autographed picture!”

Look for the couple who met and fell in love on the 11th series of CBS’ voyeuristic drama to appear in an ’80s flashback on B&B this Tuesday, Oct. 27.

Roxy Olin 'Brothers And Sisters' www.hometownhollywood.com awful

Last night, ‘The City’s’ newest bad girl Roxy Olin debuted her acting chops on ABC’s drama Brothers & Sisters. Had I not seen her true colors on The City, I would have probably been more receptive to her acting skills. Roxy appeared on the show backstabbing her supposed BFF Whitney Port in the very first episode of the season.

I’m sure a lot of actors I like are generally not ‘nice people’ but, they also don’t broadcast their personal lives on a reality series-so I never know about it. My advice to everyone would be if you plan on having a career in Hollywood and your not a very nice person-don’t go on a reality show showcases your dark side!

Roxy Olin landed the gig due to the fact that her father is the executive producer of the show, Ken Olin.

Ken also plays David Caplan boyfriend to Holly Harper(Patricia Wettig) and father to Rebecca Harper (Emily VanCamp).

Actress Patricia Wettig is married to Ken and their daughter is none other than Roxy Olin. So you can see how this is becoming a family affair!

Roxy Olin, Patricia Wettig www.hometownhollywood.comken olin www.hometownhollywood.com father to roxy olin the city

Roxy actually appeared on the show two years ago in 3 separate episodes.

Brothers & Sisters is a favorite show of mine, I tune in every Sunday night for a good cry-but I gotta say, I’m a little put off by Roxy’s injection into the show.

Maybe she will grow on me…

kenny ortega www.hometownhollywood.com leaves 'footloose'Kenny Ortega has dropped out as director of Paramount’s Footloose remake, starring Gossip Girl’s Crawford and country starlet Julianne Hough, according to Variety.

The High School Musical lensman reportedly left the project after clashing with the studio about budget and tone.

Kenny, who directed the soon-to-be-released Michael Jackson concert film This Is It, allegedly wanted to stage complex musical numbers — which would have cost the studio $30 million. Paramount production chief Adam Goodman, on the other hand, insisted he remake be more dramatic than musical.

The 1984 original starred Kevin Bacon as a city slicker who moves to a rural town where dance has been outlawed by a overzealous local minister. In the process of trying to change the town’s laws, the teen falls in love with the preacher’s daughter.

A new Footloose director is expected to step in promptly to keep the film on track for its June 18 theatrical release

paranormal activity movie soaring www.hometownhollywood.com

The low-budget chiller Paranormal Activity won a weekend battle of slashers flicks, overtaking part six of the Saw franchise and scooping up $22 million at the weekend box office.

Fueled by rave word-of-mouth reviews on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, Paranormal Activity has taken the box office by storm to become the year’s most unlikely number one hit. Following in the footsteps of 1999’s cult horror thriller The Blair Witch Project, director Oren Peli’s 2006 film was made for a microscopic $11,000 and has already earned $62 million in North America.

That means a $14.8 million debut for Saw VI, a franchise that has been an annual Halloween fixture at theaters since 2004. It was the worst opening ever for Lionsgate’s Saw series, whose previous low was $18.3 million for the original movie.

Chef Jean Christophe Novelli www.hometownhollywood.com

Meet Jean Christophe Novelli, world renowned Michelin and 5AA Rosette award-winning chef with restaurants in London, France and South Africa, and voted “World’s Sexiest Chef” by The New York Times. Bravo’s Chef Academy chronicles Novelli’s move to Los Angeles as he opens a test program for a top-notch culinary institute and trains and transforms those who aspire to cook like professionals. First order of business: selecting nine students to be his test subjects for his first Academy across the pond, but is America ready for this French culinary genius? Find out on Bravo’s newest docu-series Chef Academy, premiering Monday, November 16 at 11 p.m. ET/PT.

Lets meet the nine contestants:

Chef Kyle Daley www.hometownhollywood.com 'Chef Academy' Bravo

Kyle Daley, 29 – Salt Lake City, Utah and residing in San Diego, Calif.
Daley enrolled in the Novelli Academy as the only student with experience working in restaurants. He is currently the Chef de Cuisine at Island Prime Restaurant in San Diego, Calif. and has kitchen experience at the prestigious La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla, Calif. Daley loves creating flavors and learning something new everyday about his craft. He approaches all his dishes with the idea that he is an artist and the plate is his frame. His goal is to one day become the executive chef of his own restaurant. Currently, Kyle is cooking and tasting his way through Europe to further broaden his culinary skills and knowledge.

chef emmanuel www.hometownhollywood.com 'chef academy' bravo

Emmanuel DelCour – Bordeaux, France and residing in Venice, Calif.
Born and raised in the South of France, DelCour moved to California four years ago. In his time in Los Angeles, he has acted in commercials and television series, competed as a body builder and worked as a personal trainer. Full of eclectic talents and hobbies besides cooking, he enjoys swimming cage free with Great White Sharks, drawing and graphic design. As a child in France, intricate delicacies and traditional dishes inspired a love of food and cooking. DelCour hopes to share this love as the host of his own food oriented television show.

Chef Zoe www.hometownhollywood.com chef academy bravo tv

Zoe Feigenbaum – New York, N.Y.
Feigenbaum exhibits a contagious passion for food. She has lived in New York for 26 years and has attended college and culinary school in the city. Before heading west to the Novelli Academy, Feigenbaum worked as a freelancer with the French Culinary Institute as well as a part time caterer. When she isn’t cooking, she enjoys a number of hobbies including horseback riding, scuba diving and charity work. Feigenbaum is drawn to food because it is incredibly inventive in a multitude of ways and many aspects of life revolve around food. While Chef Novelli instilled a great deal of technique and knowledge, her biggest lesson from the Academy was learning the confidence that comes from within and the importance of trusting and relying on personal instinct.

Chef Leanard Goodloe www.hometownhollywood.com 'Chef Academy'

Leanard Goodloe, 28 – New York, N.Y.
For Goodloe, life is all about good food and good wine. Prior to attending the Novelli Academy, he attended to the Apicius School of Culinary Arts where he studied Italian cuisine. He also worked as a private chef in New York and for a sound design company before relocating to Venice Beach, Calif. to enroll in the Novelli Academy. Although he was born and raised in Texas, Goodloe considers New York home with Los Angeles holding a strong second place in his heart. Currently, he works as a private chef in Southern California and enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering and traveling.

Chef Sarah Jacobsen www.hometownhollywood.com 'Chef Academy'

Sarah Jacobsen, 29 – Chicago, Ill.
Born and raised in Chicago, Ill., Jacobsen has a passion for cooking, food and, most recently, tattoos. She is currently working on getting more tattoos and posing as a tattoo model. She also enjoys drawing and painting, and coins herself a modern day “renaissance chick.” In the culinary world, Jacobsen hopes to teach and show individuals that a formal culinary education is not necessary to be a good chef. She instills the idea of learning through practice and trial and error. Her key philosophy in the kitchen is “never stop trying, you can do anything if you try hard enough.” Prior to attending the academy, Jacobsen had vaguely heard of Chef Novelli, but after arriving she quickly realized his commitment towards his students on both a personal and culinary level.

Chef Kyle Kupiszewski www.hometownhollywood.com 'chef academy'

Kyle Kupiszewski – Virginia Beach, Va.
Kyle Kupiszewski, known as “Kup” to his buddies, is a young navy chef residing in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

A cook aboard nuclear powered submarines, Kup is used to serving 150 helpings of hash browns and bacon in one sitting, so he isn’t fazed by pressure. However, he arrived at the Academy with a limited range of dishes and techniques and was therefore nervous about learning how to cook under the renowned Chef Novelli. He may look like a muscular sailor with attitude and tattoos, but Kup may have been the student who most desperately wanted to impress Novelli.

Toughened by years of Navy experience (he once spent 91 days underwater) nothing much fazes Kup. During the series, he shows he has a short fuse and doesn’t take kindly to childish behavior. He forms a close friendship with Kyle, the other alpha male type in the group, but clashes with some of his female classmates. Kup is now back on active duty with the Navy.

chef carissa loughead www.hometownhollywood.com 'chef academy'

Carissa Loughead St. Aubin, 26 – Charlotte, N.C.
Recently married, Loughead St. Aubin and her husband live in Charlotte, North Carolina with their two dogs. Currently, her time is monopolized by her new business venture – opening an online vintage clothing boutique. While she loves cooking, for the time being she has decided to keep her hobby a hobby and pursue other dreams. Loughead St. Aubin loved learning under Chef Novelli because he provided a challenging learning environment, even though she found his tests to sometimes be stressful. Prior to attending the Academy, she worked as a special events planner in Charlotte.

Chef Tracie Norfleet www.hometownhollywood.com 'chef academy'

Tracie Norfleet, 46 – Honolulu, Hawaii and residing in Venice, Calif.
Norfleet grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii and has always had an overwhelming attraction to food. After moving to California for college, she landed in Venice Beach and currently works in advertising for RSA Films. Norfleet took a break from her hectic life as an ad executive to attend the Novelli Academy. She loves the idea that food is innate, so it might as well be enjoyable. She was inspired a great deal by Chef Novelli, and felt his incredible culinary passion to truly be contagious.

Chef Suzanne Winn www.hometownhollywood.com 'chef academy'

Suzanne Winn, 47 – Mission Viejo, Calif.
A self-proclaimed “jack of all trades,” Winn considers herself a designer, entertainer, and problem solver. Born in the San Francisco Bay Area, she moved to the Orange County town of Mission Viejo 15 years ago and now considers it home. Growing up, her dad was an amazing chef, which is what first drew her to the culinary world. She approaches cooking with an open mind and with the philosophy “if you always succeed, you will never grow.” While many of the students entered the Academy with the goal of becoming a professional chef or of opening a restaurant, Winn simply wanted to learn and enhance her skills as a personal chef. She feels honored to have learned under a culinary genius such as Chef Novelli, although she will be the first to admit to their love/hate relationship.

A tipster tattles: “Jen became fascinated with the format after spending time with Chelsea. When she saw Oprah she mentioned that it would be fun to do a chat show and Oprah seized the moment and suggested they front one together for her new network.”

Bob Griese www.hometownhollywood.com racial comment nascar

Bob Griese had something of a senior moment today during today’s Ohio State – Minnesota college football game that was broadcast on ESPN when he made a somewhat racist comment about NASCAR driver Juan Pablo Montoya (who isn’t even Mexican – he’s in fact Columbian):

Chris Spielman (during a promo for the Martinsville NASCAR event): “Where’s Montoya?”
Bob Griese: “He’s out having a taco.”

Griese apologized later in the game, saying “Juan Pablo Montoya is one of the best drivers in NASCAR. I just want to apologize for the comment I made earlier in the ballgame.”

He later apologized again for his out of bounds NASCAR comment during the Florida – Mississippi State game, saying “Earlier today on our game I made an offensive comment regarding Juan Pablo Montoya as part of a NASCAR promo. It was regrettable and I should not have said it. I really enjoy NASCAR and I follow it closely and would like to take this opportunity to apologize to Juan, NASCAR and everyone else who heard my comment.”

Do you think Griese should be reprimanded, or is this getting blown out of proportion?

How would you like to smell like the women who married Spencer Pratt?

So her Heidiwood clothing line didn’t exactly fly off the shelves, but that hasn’t stopped The Hill’s Heidi Montag from steam rolling ahead with plans to hawk her own signature fragrance in cooperation with the Home Shopping Network.

Heidi’s been in the lab diligently working with chemists on several feminine scents she plans to sell on the shop-at-home cable network, blabbing informants (Spencer) tell In Touch Weekly.

A pal says: “Heidi has always wanted to do her own fragrance. This is another one of her dreams come true. She lives a charmed life.”

I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say the first ‘informant’ is none other than hubby Spencer Pratt and the ‘pal’ is of course Spencer’s sis Stephanie Pratt.

On a more positive note, her perfume can’t possibly stink as much as her music…..

ryan seacrest hollywood actor www.hometownhollywood.com

We can totally see Ryan Seacrest hosting the Oscars, but how about winning one? Ry’s hilarious self-portrait in the 2007 flick Knocked Up was just the beginning of what the Idol host hopes will be the beginning of a long-career on the big screen, according to a new report.

The National Enquirer’s veteran snitch Mike Walker claims Hollywood’s Most Famous Metrosexual has landed his first real acting job in an upcoming feature film. While details about the film are still a bit hush-hush, Ryan was allegedly recently overheard telling a friend: “I play a dad who has to stand up for his young son. You won’t even recognize me in it!”

If it is true, it will be very interesting to see how well Ryan transitions from media host to hollywood actor.
