“Charlotte has literally just this minute phoned us to let us know that she gave birth to a little boy today. He was born just after midnight at her and Gavin’s home with Gavin in attendance at the birth.

“They haven’t yet announced a name for their son, but we can confirm that he weighed in at 7lb 5oz and that mom and baby are both doing just fine. We will of course be the first place you can find out about the baby’s name and Charlotte has promised us this will be very soon. Taylor Swift made history this weekend when the 19-year-old country star became the youngest musical guest to ever perform on Saturday Night Live’s.

Here’s a video of Taylor singing her single “Forever & Always” on last night’s show.

I thought she did a great job in her cameo as ‘Annie’

Two main characters off one of my fave shows tied the knot over New Year’s.  Michael C. Hall who plays Dexter on the hit Showtime series ‘Dexter’ wed his onscreen sister, actress Jennifer Carpenter.  I couldn’t be happier for the two!!

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – “Dexter” star Michael C. Hall has married co-star Jennifer Carpenter, who plays his sister on the television show, the actor’s representative said on Friday.

They wed on New Year’s Eve in picturesque Big Sur, California, and she had a wedding ring linked to a bouquet, Hall’s representative Craig Bankey said in a statement.

The ring was passed down from Carpenter’s grandfather.

In “Dexter,” Hall plays Dexter Morgan, a Miami police analyst who moonlights as a serial killer targeting sociopaths. Carpenter plays Debra Morgan, Dexter’s adoptive sister, a tomboyish cop. “Dexter” is on U.S. cable channel Showtime.

Hall, 37, and Carpenter, 29, dated for a year and-a-half before being married, Bankey said.

This just adds to the list of my favorite shows where onscreen cast mates have married each other! The best example of this is the cast of ‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’ where actors Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenney who play ‘Mac’ & ‘Dee’ got hitched last October- And Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis married back in 2006- Charlie Day plays Charlie while Elizabeth plays ‘The Waitress’ he is obsessed with!

Fergie & Josh Duhamel Say 'I Do'

They’ve been dating since 2004, and Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson and Josh Duhamel finally took the walk down the aisle during a glitzy private wedding ceremony in Malibu on Saturday (January 10).

According to breaking reports, the Black Eyed Peas frontwoman and her “Transformers” beau tied the knot with over 300 guests in attendance for the special moment – set in a large tent area nearby the ocean.

Insiders tell Us magazine that both Fergie and Josh wore Dolce & Gabbana, with the beautiful bride donning “a fitted, white ruched, corseted wedding gown with a mesh tulle overlay, spaghetti straps and a long train complimented by a veil draped in millions of dollars worth of one-of-a-kind diamonds by H.Stern.”

And even though they’re just now husband and wife, Fergie doesn’t foresee many changes, saying, “We’re practically married, anyway. I’m madly in love with him. He understands how to treat a woman and give me respect.”

Congratulations to the happy couple- I cant wait to see her wedding gown photos!

Big Winners At 'Peoples Choice Awards'

Big winners Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are so cool they didn’t even show up for the People’s Choice Awards, which is a bit of an insult. No worries, because enough big stars stepped up and joined in the first major awards show of the season. The People’s Choice Awards are actually voted on by the people, and I’ve always wondered if winners are told in advance so they’ll actually show up. Other winners included Reese Witherspoon, Will Smith and Katherine “Biting the Hand that Feeds Her” Heigel. People magazine has the run down.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie clearly have the people’s vote. The two were among the big winners at the 35th Annual People’s Choice Awards Wednesday night at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Pitt was named favorite leading man at the ceremony, while Jolie was voted favorite female action star.

While neither accepted their honors in the flesh, plenty of stars – including Carrie Underwood, Katherine Heigl and the hosts of Dancing with the Stars (winners of the favorite competition/reality show) – collected their trophies in person during the two-hour ceremony which was hosted by Queen Latifah.

Ellen DeGeneres was a good sport as she presented the first award of the night, filling in for Kate Hudson whom, she said, was stuck in traffic and “40 minutes away.” Said DeGeneres with a laugh: “That’s no way to sell a movie.” The talk show host then gave Adam Sandler the favorite funny male star award, and later picked up favorite talk show host herself.

Hudson did arrive in time to collect her award for favorite leading lady – and she took the stage with a triumphant whoop. Hudson also dedicated her award to son Ryder, who was celebrating his fifth birthday that night.

Additionally, Will Smith was a double winner, nabbing favorite male movie star and favorite male action star, while Reese Witherspoon was named favorite female movie star. “This year I won an award for having a baby throw up on me,” the Four Christmases star said on stage.

The night’s definitive winner, though, was The Dark Knight: The latest in the Batman franchise won a total of five awards, including favorite movie and favorite action movie. The movie’s star, Christian Bale, was named favorite superhero and was also recognized, along with the late Heath Ledger, in the favorite on-screen match up category.

Among the other big movie winners: Katherine Heigel’s 27 Dresses won favorite movie comedy and WALL-E took home the award for favorite family movie.

I really like when Queen Latifah is the host of any awards show – she’s funny without trying too hard, and she doesn’t make mean-spirited jokes.

Jennifer Garner & Husband Ben Affleck Proud Parents New Baby Girl.

Jennifer Garner has finally given birth to her second child with Ben Affleck. The baby girl was born on Tuesday and both mother and baby are doing well. The baby’s name has not been released to the public yet, but we should be hearing soon.

With Violet Affleck, their three-year-old, voted the cutest celebrity baby several times, magazines are certainly going to be clamoring to get the first shots of her little sister. The Afflecks didn’t sell the first photographs of Violet to a celebrity magazine, so it’s doubtful they’ll be posing for photos with their second child. They didn’t even officially announce the pregancy until it was obvious.

Garner confirmed the pregnancy in August after joking, “Oh, I’m not pregnant. I just had a lot of carbs for breakfast. It’s just – what do they call it – a breakfast pouch.”

“It always makes me laugh when people say ‘Is she?’ ‘Isn’t she?’ It’s like eventually you will know, so just chill out for a minute,” she said in the interview with Access Hollywood, adding: “We’re so excited, obviously.”

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell have had twin girls. US Magazine reports that family friend Howard Stern made the announcement on his show this morning. There is not much more information about the girls and we’re not sure of their names yet or even exactly when they were born. (If you listened to this Stern this morning and have more details, please comment.)

Romijn said she tried Clomid a year before she got preganant, but said she was off the fertility drug for months before the twins were conceived naturally without in vitro fertilization:

Rebecca Romijn and husband Jerry O’Connell have welcomed twin girls, Howard Stern announced on his Sirius radio show Monday morning…

In November, Romijn, 36, told Page Six magazine she was ready to give birth. (She had to skip pal Stern’s October wedding because she was put on bed rest.)

“I can’t move anymore… I’m a beached whale!” she said. “I have not been without a bra this entire pregnancy. I refuse. I’m not taking any chances. I’m determined to keep the puppies up!”

See Us’ baby bump hall of fame.

She also revealed that the twins were conceived without the help of in vitro fertilization or the fertility drug Clomid.

“A year ago, we tried Clomid for a couple of months unsuccessfully,” Romijn said. “But by the second month, I was like, ‘Ahhh! I hate this!’ I think when you start messing with your own hormones, it’s crazy-making.”

Congrats to the happy new family!! Cant wait to hear the names- if you’ll remember Jerry talked about naming them Mary-Kate and Ashley
