Marc Anthony Part-Owner Miami Dolphins

Jennifer Lopez and her salsa-singing hubby Marc Anthony held up Miami Dolphins jerseys with their names and birth dates inscripted during a news conference in New York City Tuesday, announcing his minority ownership in the team.
“I could quite possibly be staring at the first day of the rest of my life,” Anthony said in a news conference in New York. “That’s quite exciting at this stage of the game. I’m a little nervous. I’d rather sing. That’s much easier to me?..It’s a storied franchise, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I’m going to try to make it to my seat because my knees are a little weak.”
“I’m a huge sports fan,” the 40-year-old star remarked in an interview with PEOPLE this morning. “These opportunities don’t come around too often. It’s quite an honor and a privilege to be able to sit here today saying that I’m a part-owner of an NFL team.”
The Dolphins went from a dismal 1-15 record in 2007 to 11-5 and the 2008 AFC East Championship, before losing to the Baltimore Ravens in the playoffs.

Jennifer Hudson And Fiance David Otunga Expecting Baby!

Jennnifer Hudson is seven months pregnant with her first child, a longtime friend of the Grammy/Oscar-winning 27-year-old told The Chicago Tribune over the weekend.
The singer/actress has been laughing off rumors that she and fiance David Otunga are expecting since reports first surfaced in an April report from Essence Magazine.
But according to the star’s pal Felicia Fields, Jennifer celebrated the baby’s arrival at a relative’s home in her native Chicago, Illinois on Saturday, May 30.
“It was a baby shower, a quiet gathering of friends and mostly family. They’re really trying to keep it kind of quiet. It was a nice time that we had,” Felicia told The Tribune on Sunday.
Jennifer and David are determined to keep the sex of the baby a secret – with guests at the party lavishing her with neutral colored gifts.
“They don’t know (the gender).”
A giant heartfelt Congratulations for Jennifer!! What a blessing in what has been a year of intense emotional pain following the deaths of her Mother, Brother and nephew.

Sarah Michelle Gellar And Hubby Freddie Prinze Jr. Expecting A Girl!

Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar will be welcoming the arrival of a baby girl later this year. The couple recently announced that they are expecting their first child together after seven years of marriage.
According to Star, 32-year-old Sarah, who is five months pregnant, has been overheard excitedly talking about her unborn daughter on the New York City set of her new HBO pilot, The Wonderful Mondays.
“She’s been letting little details slip here and there,” says a set source. “She’s been spending her free time planning the nursery in their TriBeca apartment,” according to gossips. “Sarah wants the room to look sophisticated, so nothing too frilly or princessy. She’s been shopping for earth tones to mix with plum or magenta accents.”

Wanda Sykes & Wife Welcome Twins!

Wanda Sykes and her partner Alex have welcomed to twins.
PEOPLE.com reports that the comedienne’s wife gave birth to a boy and a girl on April 27. Olivia Lou weighed 6 lbs., 7 oz. at birth and son Lucas Claude weighed 7 lbs., 9 oz.
“All are happy and healthy and at home,” says a rep for the couple.
Wanda and Alex wed in California on October 25, 2008.

Nicole Richie & Joel Madden Expecting A Boy!

It’s a boy for Joel Madden and Nicole Richie.
The couple, who are already the proud parents of the lovely Harlow Winter, are eagerly awaiting the arrival of a baby boy in August, a tipster reveals in the new issue of In Touch Weekly. Spywitnesses claim Nicole and Joel refer to the baby as “he” and have been stocking up on plushies and other pricey infant items adorned in blue.
“Joel bought water-based paint for the nursery and — surprise, surprise — it’s blue.”

I’m a little late on this story- but better late than never! Congratulations to Julie Bowen who delivered twin boys Friday, May 8. Julie Bowen named the twins Gus and John – sweet pre-mother’s day presents!
Julie Bowen’s twin boys join 2-year-old brother Oliver. Julie Bowen is married to real estate investor Scott Phillips; they’ve been married since 2004.
Julie Bowen is probably best known for her roles on TV’s “Ed,” “Boston Legal,” “Lost” and “Weeds.”

Donald Trump Finally Fires Annie Duke & Hires Joan Rivers!

In the May 10 finale of “The Celebrity Apprentice” season two, Joan Rivers came out triumphant. The comedienne won over poker player Annie Duke who has been her nemesis throughout the competition, in the challenge to set up a pre-theatre VIP party experience sponsored by Kodak for patrons attending Cirque du Soleil’s hit show “Wintuk.”
It is truly great that so much money was achieved for all the different charities-but I was so freaking happy to see Annie Duke get canned! When Donald said Annie, You’re Fired- and for a split second you could see that she thought he had said hired- gave me quite a laugh!
I think Joan Rivers is absolutely terrific and the drive and determination she showed during this season gave me alot of respect for her. I appreciate her calling it as she sees it, and quite frankly her and her daughter Melissa had Annie Duke’s character nailed from the gate!
Joan Rivers is an extraordinary example of what hard work and determination can get you out of life- I have never witnessed a woman, let alone a women 75, doing the things Joan does. She is a true entrepreneur to the max!

Tobey Maguire And Jennifer Meyer: It's A Boy!

Welcoming their second child into the world, Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer are celebrating after becoming parents to a healthy baby boy!
The “Spiderman” stud and his jewelry designing wife welcomed the latest addition to their growing family on Friday (May 8), according to Life & Style magazine.
“I can confirm the Maguires had a baby boy today, and the family is healthy and happy,” rep Kelly Bush told press.
With no further details released at this point, Tobey’s son joins big sister Ruby, whom Meyer gave birth to in 2006.

Seal & Heidi Klum Expecting Baby Girl

Seal has spilled the beans yet again.
On The Oprah Winfrey Show on Friday, the star announced that he and his supermodel wife Heidi Klum are expecting a baby girl later this year.
Last month, the smooth-voiced crooner broke the news that his German supermodel wife, Heidi Klum, is pregnant with the family’s fourth child at his concert at Radio City Music Hall
in New York City.
The unborn girl will be the second daughter for Heidi and Seal, who have two sons, Henry, 3, and Johan, 2, and Heidi’s daughter from a previous relationship, Leni, 4, who Seal has adopted.

Jimmy Fallon Graduates!

Jimmy Fallon finally earned his Bachelor’s Degree this weekend — seventeen years after first giving it the old college try.
The host of NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon began working towards his degree at the College of St. Rose in Albany, N.Y. in 1992. Jimmy started as a computer science major but later switched to communications. He left in 1995 one semester and fifteen credits short of completing school to head out to L.A. to pursue his career.
Three years later, he was back in New York with a starring role on Saturday Night Live.
Jimmy picked up his Bachelor of Arts Degree In Communication — and spoke at the College of St. Rose Class of 2009 commencement ceremony — at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center yesterday(May 9.)
Jimmy Fallon also did a guest spot on SNL last night with Justin Timberlake- at the end of the show when Justin is thanking everybody you can clearly see Jimmy proudly showing off his degree!
