Ricky Gervais Open Letter To President Obama: 'Get Paris Out Of The UK'

British comedian Ricky Gervais has a problem with Paris, Hilton that is, and he needs the President’s help in getting the hotel heiress out of the UK.
The heiress is currently in Britain filming a European version of her reality series Paris Hilton’s My New BFF, and let’s just say Ricky isn’t very happy about that, as demonstrated in this open letter to President Obama posted on Ricky’s official site on Monday.
Dear Mr. President,
Firstly, congratulations on your historic win. I have never been so behind a candidate for what must be considered the boss of the world. You seem to be a man of grace and integrity, who would never shirk responsibility in any way. I’ll get to the point.
As I’m sure you are aware, one of your flock has strayed. A Miss Paris Hilton, who is, I believe, a resident of Beverly Hills, is in England doing a reality game show for ITV2 called “Paris Hilton’s British Best Friend.” Fine. I have no problem with that. I don’t have to watch. But now it has come to my attention that she has bought a house in North London a few miles from me, and is out and about ingratiating herself with the Great British public.
Mr. President. We are not stupid. This is clearly a retaliatory strike for Posh Spice moving to LA. I know it, and you know it, so let’s cut the “it’s a free country” nonsense and come to some agreement.
I propose an exchange. This is how it would work….
We call them both and tell them that we’ve found a giant “paparazzi nest,” in New York say. (half way home for both of them already)
At first they may be confused that they’d never heard of such a thing before, but the thought of that many photographers in one place will be irresistible.
Once we get them there, while they are having their photos taken (we will have hire a few guys with cameras to make it look good) we will swap their limos around. It’s fool proof.
This is a covert operation of which Mr Gordon Brown knows nothing. (I’ve got him working on finding a synthetic fur for The Queen’s guards’ bearskin hats.)
Have your people call my people. They may have to call a few times as my people are useless to be honest.

Whitney Port Series 'The City' Recaps Premiere In Blog

Whitney Port, Lauren Conrad’s friend and former co-worker, premiered in her own new MTV reality show Monday night.
In an entry on her Celebuzz blog on Tuesday, Whitney Port, former star of The Hills, recapped Monday nights series premiere of her new MTV hit, The City.
Music Television’s latest supposedly “unscripted” series follows Whitney as she begins working for famed designer Diane von Furstenberg in the City That Never Sleeps.
“Me and my entire family gathered at my house in LA to watch it and I thought it would be fun to give you a little recap with my own take on the episode — and a little juicy behind the scenes stuff too!” Whitney wrote.
“The episode began with an introduction of my transition from LA life to city life and I can’t even tell you how sad I was to see the scene of me and Lauren saying goodbye. My eyes got really watery and I almost broke down, but within seconds excitement took over!”
“So the episode introduced you guys to a lot of new people! First came Olivia, who I met on my first day at Diane Von Furstenberg. I was already so nervous for my first day there, and it became even worse when I met her because she seemed so experienced! Olivia taught me what a socialite really is — I mean I sort of knew the parameters of what it takes to be a “social” considering I have grown up in Hollywood, but I found it so interesting that you can be completely self-made in the cutthroat environment that is New York Çity!”
The fashionista even blogged on her burgeoning romance with Australian rocker, Jay, writing: “And of course, you all already knew Jay from The Hills! It was so crazy/surreal for me to have one of my first dates with Jay filmed! First dates are awkward enough, let alone having four cameras in your face, but our connection was so real that it didn’t even phase us! I love the part where Jay does his American accent lol. I force him to do it ALL the time. It’s one of my favorite things he does! My attempt at an Australian accent is something he could do without, I’m sure.”
“After the date, I didn’t think the cameras had caught us kissing down the street, but sure enough they did!!!”

Kirk Douglas Oldest Myspace Celebrity Blogger.

At 92, legendary actor Kirk Douglas has become the oldest celebrity blogger on MySpace.
The Spartacus star began blogging in March 2007 to promote his memoir, Let’s Face It, but has continued his posts generated interest; now he has 4,414 online friends.
He’s become inundated with too many comments and messages to answer each one personally, which was his goal when he started his Myspace.
(Wonder if he’ll ever blog on that nasty report that he raped Natalie Wood when she was 15.)
“But I want you to know that I appreciate each comment that I receive – positive or negative. And I enjoy the opportunity to talk to so many people much younger than I am.”
He says he enjoys writing the blog because he gets “personal satisfaction” from writing, Britain’s Daily Mail writes.
“I express my opinion, and I tell them that they don’t have to agree with me because it’s a free country.”
“And their answers are very, very interesting.”
“I take it seriously,” Douglas says. “Otherwise I wouldn’t do it. I don’t have to do it, I don’t make money. It’s something that gives me personal satisfaction.”

Lindsay Lohan Continues To Annoy With Reports Her & Sam Have Broken Up.

For the second time this month, Lindsay Lohan took to her Celebrity MySpace blog early Monday to sound off about rumors that she has split from girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
“today i was out with my friend Jamie and paparazzi wouldn’t stop asking me where samantha was,” Lindsay wrote. “and i’m not writing this blog because i feel like i need to prove that i’m with my girl to anyone at all. but because it’s just annoying. and i want to vent.”
“and i love myspace because it allows me to vent without having to deal with the noise of the ‘tabloids’ and ‘stalkerazzi’s,’” she continued.
Lindsay said the social network site would be the first place she would announce a split from her celebrity DJ girlfriend.
“all in all-they should just stop asking altogether, once and for all if she and i are broken up because frankly, if we ever ever did…. i would say it before they could even think of asking. i’d say it here probably… i say everything here on myspace.”
Lindsay goes on to say that she hopes gossip blogs are reading her blog in order to get the story straight.
“okay. well, i hope that all the gossip magazines and sites, and lurkers read this cuz it’s not true,
“wow- the people that make s*** up must really feel silly, embarrassed, out of stories, s******, f*****, punk’d, and so much more. because, i can use myspace and just let everyone know what’s really going on,” Lindsay added. “which is so much more fun! cuz now, people can get to know the REAL me. yay!”
Geeezzzzzzzz…. Lindsay is starting to get super annoying with this- I am so far past caring about anything Lindsay does or says it’s not even funny- she is starting to get as annoying as Spencer & Heidi from ‘The Hills’…. and her latest myspace blogs have had this cheap underlying promotion of myspace….odd.

Samantha Blogs About Girlfriend Lindsay Lohan's Flour'ing!

Samantha Ronson doesn’t like when animal rights activists attack her girlfriend with bags of flour. The international mix maven is PO’d over the early morning attack in Paris that left GF Lindsay Lohan–and the actress’ fur stole–covered in flour at the hands of a deranged animal lover.
Samantha has lashed out about the incident and at PETA, the animal-loving organization who praised the flour beatdown, on her MySpace blog Saturday afternoon.
“I’m pissed at the bag of flour thrown on Lindsay last night. Not because I got powdered down, but because the girl who threw it acted like an animal herself.”
The angry DJ added that she’s met more well-mannered bulldogs, “I take that back, it’s an insult to animals to group her in with them, my dog is FAR more civilized than that person,” SamRo fumed.
“I think there are plenty of families that could have used that flour for a meal. Nice job, lady.”
Samantha makes a good point. You don’t have the right to go around assaulting people with baking ingredients just because you don’t agree with their taste in fashion. Although if you do decide to engage some unsuspecting fur wearer in a food fight, rotten eggs might be a better choice. Bigger mess and more of a stink. Just a suggestion.

Lindsey Lohan Disses Sarah Palin.

Lindsay Lohan has a weird way of trash talking people. Especially her latest enemy, Sarah Palin. Unfortunately for her, Lindsay has a MySpace blog. I’m not sure if Lohan is unable to think coherent thoughts or is just a shockingly poor writer. But today she went off on Sarah Palin again on her MySpace blog, in a random, nonsensical, discombobulated entry.
Not surprisingly, to Lohan the most shameful thing that can happen to a person is not to get let into a club. Ouch.

Washington, D.C.- you’re probably thinking that you are going to a monument of some sort… well, you’re highly wrong loves….
Washington, D.C.-you’re in a club, you are here for support for someone that you care for very much, VERY MUCH.. But, you’re here just to chill and support, not to be seen and heard… Not to be on display in the dj booth…or to feel as if you are in a cage at the Bronx Zoo…
Do you see what i am getting at???
Alright, so i am literally sitting in the dj booth at a club in Washington, D.C. where Samantha is djing and they have a computer at the back of the booth, which i am on right now..
aside from the fact that she is an amazing dj and i am having a nice time, the glass mirror placed to my left to hide me from photos (literally) is making it all a bit uncomfortable!!!This blog isn’t really intended to mean much, it’s just something to let people into my life-kind of a blog to let people know that i am working hard and i go out when samantha is working because she’s pretty great to hear and i love to be around her and her energy as much as possible.
Sitting here makes me think about the fact that if Sarah Palin was in office, and living in Washington.. On a “slow” night, she would probably be dressing as one of the gossip girls or tina fey to try and “be cool” enough to get into this club.
I guess me thinking, and blogging about her gives her more attention and credit than she actually deserves.. but as Madonna says. “Express Yourself”

Britney Spears is Vlogging..

You want More Britney?? Well now you have it! The popstar has launched the new BritneySpears.com website.
The top of the site features a personal announcement from Britney telling us that she’ll take us “where no paparazzi lens ever could,” presumably into the positive side of her life.
The accompanying blog features guest entries from bloggers like Celebuzz, Socialite Life, and Mark Steines of Entertainment Tonight, who includes a brief video of him looking over the site with Britney.
Should be interesting.. she definately is looking good! I guess I’m on Team Britney!
