Ellen & Portia de Rossi To Conceive Baby With Help From In-Vitro Fertilization

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi are planning to have a baby of their own with the help of in-vitro fertilization.
The couple are said to be undergoing IVF treatment in a bid to have a biological child together, Star Magazine reports.
“They would love a boy. But would truly be happy with any healthy baby,” a tabloid insider has revealed. “[De Rossi] is prepared to go through [IVF] ten times if she has to. Whatever it takes to get pregnant, she’ll do it.”
The source adds, “Ellen and Portia are mad about each other and having a child together will only strengthen their bond.”
Maybe they should try the octuplets’ fertility specialist. He seems to have an outstanding success rate.
The Emmy-winning talk show host and Portia, star of television’s Arrested Development, wed in a lavish wedding ceremony in Los Angeles last summer.

On Tuesday, Afrikan Boy, an associate of the Sri Lankan hip-hop artist, posted the first public picture of Baby M.I.A, who was born in Los Angeles last Wednesday.
I just woke up when I recieved this baby picture from Maya of her newborn son… He is handsoommmeee!! I need to teach him how to make pounded yam and get straight As in school like me!!! Love from Maya Ben and I Y H K D! Welcome to the world!

WOW! This Little Boy Is Now A Dad!

I picked this story up from The Sun U.K. and had to post it as I am just shocked by it:
Baby-faced Alfie, who is 13 but looks more like eight, became a father four days ago when his girlfriend Chantelle Steadman gave birth to 7lb 3oz Maisie Roxanne.
He told how he and Chantelle, 15, decided against an abortion after discovering she was pregnant.
The shy lad, whose voice has not yet broken, said: “I thought it would be good to have a baby.
“I didn’t think about how we would afford it. I don’t really get pocket money. My dad sometimes gives me £10.”
Alfie’s dad Dennis yesterday told how the lad does not really understand the enormity of his situation — but seemed desperate to be a devoted and responsible father.
He wanted to be the first to hold Maisie after the hospital birth. He tenderly kisses the baby and gives her a bottle.
And Dennis, 45, said: “He could have shrugged his shoulders and sat at home on his Playstation. But he has been at the hospital every day.”
Maisie was conceived after Chantelle and Alfie — just 12 at the time — had a single night of unprotected sex.
They found out about the baby when Chantelle was 12 weeks pregnant.
But they kept it a secret until six weeks later when Chantelle’s mum Penny, 38, became suspicious about her weight gain and confronted her.

M.I.A. Delivers Healthy Baby Boy!

Hey guys, hope all the lovers in the house had a great Valentine’s Day filled with chocolates, teddy bears, and if you’re lucky, maybe even a few diamonds.
Now getting on to the gossip…..
M.I.A.’s bun has finally come out of the oven. After going into the early stages of labor following her hot performance at last weekend’s 2009 Grammy Awards, the Oscar-nominated star gave birth to a baby boy in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
On her MySpace Celebrity Blog, the 31-year-old Sri Lankan singer, writes: MY BABY WAS BORN WEDNESDAY, HE IS HEALTHY, FINE, BEAUTIFUL AND THE MOST AMZING THING EVER ON THIS PLANET, OF COURSE IM HIS MUM!!!”
This is the first child for M.I.A. and her fiancé, Benjamin Brewer, lead singer and guitarist of The Exit.

Oh dear… Nadya Suleman's Gone & Gotten Herself A Website To Better Help You Donate!

Nadya Suleman, the 33-year-old single mother who made international headlines when she gave birth to the world’s first surviving set of octuplets nearly three weeks ago, has launched a web-site where the public can leave messages of support and donate money and baby items.
Nadya has become the object of harsh public criticism for undergoing in vitro fertilization when she already had six children.
Did we forget to mention that Mommie Dearest is unemployed, living with her parents, and depending on SSI and food stamp benefits for survival?
The web site, which features a baby theme, displays a photo of Nadya with the caption: “Proud Mother of 14,” as well as the pictures and names of all eight newborns.
“We thank you for the love and good wishes sent to us from around the world. The octuplets arrived on 1-26-09. They are all healthy and growing stronger by the day,” the web site reads.
I love how you can leave a comment on her site- but you cant see what everyone else wrote! I’m pretty sure she is getting a lot of hate mail!
Citizens interested in helping the Suleman Family can visit TheNadyaSulemanFamily.com although i’m pretty sure making a call to Child Protective Services is the best thing anyone could do for these children!

Nadya Suleman gave America its first glimpse at her 2-week-ol octuplets– and revealed their names — in a new interview with NBC’s Ann Curry on Monday.
“They’re doing, like, really, really great,” says the mother of 14.
“I feel torn because I have the other kids at the house, and I want to be here too,” continues Suleman, who has six other children. “I can’t wait until they’re all together, because it’s like we’re not a whole family yet.”

Octuplet Nadya Suleman Home 'Filthy'

WOW WOW WOW- as if we didn’t need more proof that this was a disaster in the making! A RADAROnline employee went and checked out the Suleman house and describes what they saw as ‘Filthy’ with food on the walls! Unbelievable- I have to believe that the state of California will step in and intervene for the sake of the children who truly are the victims in this!

TMZ posted this side by side comparison of Angelina Jolie and new mother of 14 Nadya Suleman- & I have to say the resemblance is uncanny! One of my commenter’s on an earlier post mentioned that Nadya looked like she had had some major plastic surgery done. I have to say I completely agree, now my question is did she have it done to look like Angelina on purpose?!?

The Today Show presented Part I of NBC correspondent Ann Curry’s interview with Nadya Suleman on Friday. The unemployed divorcee is now the mother of fourteen children after giving birth to the world’s first surviving set of octuplets in California last week.
“I’m providing myself to my children. I’m loving them unconditionally, accepting them unconditionally. Everything I do. I’ll stop my life for them and be present with them. And hold them. And be with them. And how many parents do that? I’m sure there are many that do, but many don’t. And that’s unfortunate. That is selfish.”

Nadya says he intends to return to college in the fall to complete a master’s degree in counseling She had worked in a state mental hospital from 1997-2006, but spent much of the past decade on disability after injuring her back in a riot at the facility in 1999.
Nadya has received disability payments from the State of California. She and her children live with her mother, Angela Suleman, in Whittier, California.
Oh man, this just makes me so sad for her children- they are the innocent parties here! Her statement that ’she will provide them with herself’ – the look on her face she looks completely unstable.
And then Ann discussing Nadya’s hope for the donor to be in the childrens lives- isn’t that the opposite point of ‘donation’???
Watching the interview with Nadya gave me chills- she has crazy eyes!

Nadya Suleman Photo With Ann Curry

We’re getting our first look at the woman who gave birth to the world’s first surviving set of octuplets in a California hospital last week.
In an interview with NBC’s Ann Curry on Thursday, Nadya Suleman, 33, says she tried for seven years to get pregnant before she successfully conceived with in-vitro fertilization at a local facility – “and then I just kept going in.”
“That was always a dream of mine, to have a large family, a huge family, and — I just longed for certain connections and attachments with another person that I really lacked, I believe, growing up,” she explains.
Before the arrival of her six new sons and two daughters, Nadya was already the mother of six.
She blames her frequently-occupied uterus on a dysfunctional childhood.
“I just longed for certain connections and attachments with another person that I really lacked, I believe, growing up,” Nadya tells Ann. “I didn’t feel as though, when I was a child, I had much control of my environment,” she told Curry. “I felt powerless. And that gave me a sense of predictability. Reflecting back on my childhood, I know it wasn’t functional. It was pretty dysfunctional, and whose isn’t?”
I cant wait to hear the entire interview and not just excerpts! I hope Ann asks her straight up if she is hoping to get a tv deal out of this!
