Looks like someone’s taken one too many hits from the peace pipe….Twilight actress Kristen Stewart dropped her Golden Popcorn trophy for Best Female Performance during an awkward acceptance at Sunday night’s MTV Movie Awards.
In fact, Twilight was the big winner of the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, with the cast and crew accepting popcorn prizes for all of the categories of which they were nominated.

Eminem Gets Pranked By Bruno (Sacha Baron Cohen) MTV Movie Awards 2009

Eminem stormed out of the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night after Bruno star Sacha Baron Cohen’s ass landed in his lap — literally!
The rapper had just finished performing a medley of tracks from his new album Relapse and was sitting in the audience when Cohen’s gay alter ego, Bruno, flew overhead in a dove outfit, chanting, “Ich bin Bruno. Ich bin dove of peace –” baring his naked backside, he landed upside down on rapper Eminem’s lap.
“Are you serious? Are you f***in’ serious?” Em screamed as his entourage violently tried to free him. “Yo, get this motherf***er off me, man!”
“Is the real Slim Shady about to stand up?” Sacha continued to joke as the audience laughed.
Eminem and his entourage left their seats and walked out of the show. Well…he has a reputation for being nasty and mean-spirited to others — if you’re going to dish it out, you have to know how to take it.

Neil Patrick Harris Hosting 2009 Tony Awards

Neil Patrick Harris has been tapped to host the 2009 Tony Awards, live from Radio City Music Hall. The show will air on CBS on Sunday, June 7.
This is Neil’s second hosting gig in recent weeks- he just hosted The TV Land Awards a couple weeks ago.

2009 Playboy Playmate Of The Year: Ida Ljungqvist

Ida Ljungqvist was named Playboy Playmate of the Year for 2009 in a ceremony held over the weekend in Las Vegas, the first time the ceremony was not held at the Playboy Mansion.
Ida Ljungqvist, with a name sure to frustrate many determined Googlers, is half Swedish and half Tazmanian. She’s the 50th ever Playmate of the Year and holds a degree in fashion design and marketing.
Ljungvist was briefly married to actor Joshua Lang, but the two divorced. It wasn’t an amicable split; the two squabbled particularly bitterly over a pet chihuahua. I’m sure Lang misses her from time to time, just from these photos.

Paris Hilton Gets Webby Award Nomination

Heiress Paris Hilton has been nominated for a 2009 Webby Award for her FunnyOrDie.com “Paris For President” parody, which hit out at Senator John McCain’s campaign for The White House for using her image in an Anti-Obama campaign ad without consent.
The 13th annual Webbys will recognize excellence in viral videos, podcasts, and everything else on the Internet.
The public can vote on each category until April 30, and the awards will be announced May 5.
Winners of 2009 Webby Awards will be honored at gala hosted by SNL’s Seth Myers in New York City June 8.

Eminem Set To Perform 2009 MTV Movie Awards

Slim Shady is set to take the stage at the 18th Annual MTV Movie Awards.
Rap star Eminem will make his long-awaited comeback with a live performance at this year’s ceremony, the network confirmed on Monday. Em is scheduled to release his new LP, Relapse, the first of two albums coming to fans in 2009, on May 19.
The 2009 MTV Movie Awards, hosted by SNL’s Andy Samberg, will air on Sunday, May 31 at 9 p.m. on MTV. Presenters and additional performers will be announced at a later date.

Michael Jackson "Thriller" Greatest Album Ever According To MTV Poll

Michael Jackson’s 1983 LP Thriller has been named the “Greatest Album Ever” in a new poll from MTV. The pop superstar’s Quincy Jones-produced album–which featured hits like “Billie Jean,” “Beat It,” “Thriller,” and “The Girl Is Mine”— is the world’s best-selling album and dominated a poll of MTV viewers.
“I don’t think there’ll ever be another album like it in the history of music,” says MTV Base presenter Trevor Nelson. “There will never be a marriage of producer and artist, or songwriting and pop sensibility like that again. Due to the way people buy records now, there’ll never be an album that sells as many copies.”
More than 40,000 votes were cast by fans asked to choose their favorite album since 1981 from a shortlist of 26 LPs. The final list was then compiled by music industry experts from MTV’s three UK channels – MTV2, VH1 and MTV Base.

Carrie Underwood Matthew McConaughey Apology 2009 ACM Awards

Carrie Underwood has apologized to actor Matthew McConaughey after making a sexual joke about the dashing star during her acceptance speech at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas last Sunday night.
McConaughey, who was handing over the prize for Entertainer of the Year, used his time in front of the audience to tell a story about how he and his brother used to pick up girls by telling them they made boots for country star George Strait.
“We’re like, ‘Oh yeah. Say, as a matter of fact, out in the parking lot, in the trunk of our white Corvette, we have the next year’s new edition white ostrich quill George Strait signed series that he’s gonna wear on tour next year,’” Matt told the audience on Sunday night. “And they got pretty excited about that and said, ‘Well, can we see? Can we see? Can we see?’ And we obliged … Point of the story is, we got lucky that night. Thank you, George.”
When Carrie joined the actor on the podium, she quipped, “I want to see those boots, Matthew.” The singer admits she now regrets her choice of words–particularly since Matthew is an attached man with an infant son.
“I’m so embarrassed, I totally embarrassed myself,” Carrie told FOX News’ PopTarts column just after the ceremony. “I just blanked. You want to say something eloquent in a moment like that and I embarrassed myself. I’m sorry Matthew, I’m sorry to my family. I’m totally embarrassed.”
I thought it was really funny- I think Carrie is adorable and i didn’t view it as something embarrassing… she was just joking and lets face it who wouldn’t want to see those boots?!
