Ever the BAFTA beauty, Emma Watson braved the rain as she attended the 2009 Orange British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Opera House in London on Sunday (February 8).
Wearing a lovely black Alice Temperley gown with intricate silver flower detail topped off with an embroidered black overcoat, the “Harry Potter” starlet happily posed for pictures and spoke with press on-hand.

Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Red Carpet Couple At The 2009 BAFTA Awards

Always the big draw wherever they go, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were arm-in-arm as they walked the red carpet at the 2009 Orange British Academy Film Awards on Sunday (February 8).
Held at the Royal Opera House in London, Brangelina smiled and waved to their adoring fans as they entered to find out if this is their year at the BAFTAs.
Both Pitt and Jolie are in the running, with Brad up for his role in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” while Angelina, clad in Armani Prive, is nominated for her performance in “Changeling”.
I must say it is really nice to see Angelina in some color! The Yellow looks great, hopefully she will continue this trend and starting adding some other hues to her otherwise dark wardrobe!
Aside from Brangelina’s BAFTA hopes, “Slumdog Millionaire” and “Frost/Nixon” are also among the expected big winners at the annual awards show.

Walking the red carpet in London, Penelope Cruz was on-hand for the 2009 Orange British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Opera House on Sunday (February 8).
During the BAFTA festivities, the Spanish beauty finds herself nominated for Best Supporting Actress as a result of her work in “Vicky Cristina Barcelona”.
I thought Penelope was great in that role she really made me laugh at her characters antics!

Jessica Biel Dazzles As Host Of The 81st Sci-Tech Oscars

Wearing an exquisite Oscar de la Renta gown, Jessica Biel played host at the 81st Academy Awards Scientific And Technical Awards Ceremony in Beverly Hills on Saturday night (February 7).
Held inside The Ballroom of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, Miss Biel honored numerous awards recipients including animation legend/Pixar co-founder Ed Catmull, who took home the first annual presentation of the year.
During the night’s festivities, Biel, 26, told the crowd that “she’s far from tech-savvy but has been steadily learning about equipment used behind the scenes on her films,” AP reports tell.
Talking about the animated movie genre, Jessica told the night’s guests, “They’re so emotional. And most of the Pixar films, I usually laugh, cry, am frightened. Those types of movies could and should — if they’re good enough — win an Oscar. Why not?”

Petersen, who was the 2,379th Star to be honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, had a distinguished career in film, theater, and television before landing the breakout role of “Gil Grissom,” the lead investigator on forensic drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2000.

Taylor Swift & Miley Cyrus Duet Grammy Night

Teen pals Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift will take the stage for a duet of Taylor’s single “Fifteen”at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards, airing live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles this Sunday, Feb. 8 on CBS.
“We were trying to figure out different things that would be cool,” Taylor confirmed to Ryan Seacrest this morning. “We all kind of agreed, ‘Wouldn’t it be cool if Miley was up there too and we’re singing together?’ And we’re excited about it.”
Hmm… my vote would have been for just Taylor to sing but that’s just me….
