Disney Channel Bringing Back ‘Harriet The Spy’ TV Movie

A Harriet the Spy Disney Channel TV movie is in the works.
The updated script will see aspiring writer Harriet determined to be her high school’s class blogger as she clashes with her nemesis, popular student Marion Hawthorne, The Hollywood Reporter said Friday.
In 1996, the 1964 book by Louise Fitzhugh was turned into a feature film with a young Michelle Trachtenberg in the starring role.
