Billy Bob Thornton Interview Meltdown With Jian Ghomeshi CBC Video

Billy Bob Thornton released Holy Hell on Canadian Q TV/CBC interviewer Jian Ghomeshi on Wednesday after Jin had the unmitigated gaul to make reference to the Oscar-winner’s acting career in the introduction to a segment about his pop-country band, The Boxmasters.
You could cut the tension with a knife. How uncomfortable. Billy Bob should be thanking Jian for reminding us that he’s still alive!
The interview is awkward from the get go. I have to say watching the actual video in full I thought that Billy Bob was acting or joking around but the true lash out begins around the 7 minute mark.

What a TOTAL IDIOT!!!! YOU ARE AN ACTOR!!!! NOT TOM PETTY (how can he even place himself next to T.P.?!). What a TOTAL DOUCHE!!!! I thought at first I kind of understood where he is coming from being a musician, but then he just ends up looking like a little BRATTY, RICH, FAKE, WANNA BE MUSICIAN. ARGH!!!! THIS MADE ME SO DISGUSTED – “YOU WERE INSTRUCTED….” Instructed?!?! WTF do you think, Billy Dork Dorkton?! Everyone is just going to act like you are not an ACTOR because now billy baby thorton wants to play musician?!?! So you can feel like a REAL musician, rather than one of those lame, burned out actor “bands” that no one cares about except total obsessed – trying to get you their script or mug shot – people that show up to your show? Or entertainment people who have their nose up yer arss b/c you make them money via ratings, new products, etc. etc. etc. OKAY – END RANT – But man.. what a JERK. LAMMMMMEEEE!!!!!!

Could not agree more- how gross!! Billy Bob looks like a total tool- meanwhile props to the guy holding the interview for staying composed and rolling with the punches!

I thought for a minute, (okay ten minutes) that he (Billy Bob) was high. Turns out he has no excuse, and was an embarressment to the other guys in the band. Good luck trying to get another interview, maybe Howard Stern will tear him to shreds, Jian was just too nice. Last time I checked, it’s the hillbillies that think gravy is a food group, and not Canadians!

Mr. Billy Bob Thornton is now universally scorned in a country that has great music and a very long memory. So long, you scrawny bastard. Come to Newfoundland and shoot your mouth off and you’ll receive a quick education as to what we’re all about up here. You happened to be in a rather staid town where people turn the other cheek . . . by the way, ‘cosmic cowboy’ has been done, and done so, so much better than you and your pasty-faced, greasy haired hacks, who look so completely whipped by you and your handlers that they can’t even hold up their heads. Your music career is now in the toilet, at least north of the border.
