Michael J. Fox Coming Back To TV!!!!

On May 7, Michael J. Fox will host Michael J. Fox: Adventures of an Incurable Optimist, a television special featuring the actor speaking to people worldwide about the enduring strength of hope in his quest to promote and learn more about optimism and the human spirit.

The former Spin City star put his acting career on hold in 2000 after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1998. The Michael J. Fox Foundation is now the world’s largest non-profit funder of Parkinson’s research.

“For everything this disease has taken, something with greater value has been given,” Fox says. “So, sure, it may be one step forward and two steps back, but after a time with Parkinson’s, I’ve learned that what is important is making that one step count.”

Michael J. Fox: Adventures of an Incurable Optimist airs Thursday, May 7 on ABC.
