Lauren Conrad Pulls Plug On Her Own Clothing Line

Lauren Conrad’s clothing line has been placed on hiatus until further notice.
The MTV reality starlet, who’s wrapping up her final season on MTV’s The Hills, is pulling the plug on her Lauren Conrad Collection–at least for now–The New York Post has learned.
“In light of the economic climate, Lauren has decided to completely rethink her line,” read a statement sent to department store showrooms last week. Shipments on the line’s Spring/Summer 2009 collection have been cancelled and all production halted.
“With everything going on in the economy and in her life, she wants to rework her line and offerings. She will make announcements soon,” LC’s rep said in statement to the publication on Monday.
