“There is only one way to stop Kanye West’s arrogance, and that’s with Stephen’s arrogance.”
Stephen Colbert, host of Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report, has launches “Operation Humble Kanye,” an attempt to take some air out of the inflated ego of rapper Kanye West.
“With all the auto-tuning on your records, you’re barely the voice of your own album. You want to be the voice of a generation? Get in line,” Stephen said, challenging Kanye’s recent proclamation, the he is the voice of this generation on Monday night’s Colbert Report.
In a bid to fight arrogance with arrogance, Stephen is asking for the public’s help in dethroning Kanye’s new LP, 808s & Heartbreak, from the #1 spot on iTunes by purchasing his album instead.
