The Los Angeles Times is reporting that the pop music legend — a father of three — was rushed to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center by the Los Angeles Fire Department after suffering an apparent heart attack on Thursday afternoon. According to the publication, he was not breathing when paramedics arrived and never regained consciousness…

Farrah Fawcett Dies

Very sad news to report everyone….
Farrah Fawcett, the American sex symbol best known for her role on the ’70s series Charlie’s Angels, has died after a three year battle with anal cancer.
She was 62.
The lady with the iconic hair passed away at St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California at 9:28 AM on Thursday.
While her condition was deteriorating, those closest to Farrah wanted to take her home for her final days.
Her death comes just days after longtime companion Ryan O’Neal revealed that after 27 years of dating, he had recently asked Farrah to be his wife.
“She’s gone. She now belongs to the ages,” O’Neal said in a statement to PEOPLE on Thursday. “She’s now with her mother and sister and her God. I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her so very, very much. She was in and out of consciousness. I talked to her all through the night. I told her how very much I loved her. She’s in a better place now.”
He added: “She was with her team when she passed … Her eyes were open, but she didn’t say anything. But you could see in her eyes that she recognized us.”
O’Neal says Farrah’s family and friends plan to honor her with a funeral service at the downtown Catholic Cathedral in Los Angeles sometime in the next few days.

Former boy bander Nick Lachey and teen beauty queen turned MTV VJ Vanessa Minnillo have broken up after three years of dating.
“They have amicably split but remain good friends who still greatly care for one another,” a publicist for Vanessa, 28, tells PEOPLE.
Nick, 35, began dating Vanessa shortly of his divorce from singer Jessica Simpson in June 2006.

Danielle Staub, the cougar ex-con featured prominently on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey, has a much more sordid past than she’s admitted to on the hit reality show.
During last week’s season finale, Danielle only admitted to being arrested once and changing her name after she was exposed in Cop Without a Badge, an out-of-print 1995 book about her ex-husband.
But according to explosive federal court records unearthed on The Smoking Gun Tuesday, Danielle a paid escort that she was arrested by the FBI in Miami in 1986 for her part in a violent kidnapping plot, masterminded by her then-boyfriend, a cocaine dealer with ties to dangerous Colombian drug cartels.

Johnny Depp Tips Chicago Server $4,000

Johnny Depp is campaigning for the title of “Best Celebrity Tipper” after leaving a $4,000 tip after a late-night dinner at a Chicago restaurant.
The 46-year-old Oscar-nominated actor was in the Windy City celebrating a red carpet screening of his new movie crime drama Public Enemies with a group of friends - including his co-star Marion Cotillard and the film’s director Michael Mann - when he left the generous tip at Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse.
“Depp hosted a party of 15 people, including Mann and Cotillard, and the tip was split 12 ways. Depp is the finest of all the stars I have ever waited on. And he is a true icon, and his ability to respect others is phenomenal. He loves Chicago, and Chicago loves him. Depp is one cool and generous dude,” server Mohammed A. Sekhani told The Chicago Sun-Times this week.

Julianne Hough Allegedly Bombs ‘FootLoose’ Audition

She can dance and she can sing — but Julianne Hough’s acting is going to require some professional fine-tuning, if tattles for The New York Post are to be believed.
The Dancing With The Stars performer and rising country starlet is reportedly rearranging her work schedule to accomodate filming for next year’s remake of the 1984 film Footloose. However, word is Julianne has been ordered to take acting lessons after she tanked an audition for the role of preacher’s daughter Ariel Moore in the film, which will star Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford.
Julianne’s audition “was so bad, the producers sent her off to take acting classes,” The Post reports. “She’s scheduled for another screen test Aug. 1. They definitely like her, but the producers know they need a real actress for the movie to work — she’s a pretty girl who can sing and dance, but so was Mariah Carey, and we all know how ‘Glitter’ turned out.”
Footloose opens in theaters in July of 2010.

The German-born Victoria’s Secret supermodel - who is pregnant with her fourth child - will be immortalized in plastic as part of Barbie’s Blonde Ambition Collection — celebrating iconic blondes in fashion and entertainment — later this year.
Heidi was given the keys to Barbie’s Malibu Dream House and Car at the iconic doll’s 50th Anniversary celebration in New York last month.
“You guys just have to hold onto your horses a little while longer and then maybe then you’ll know and see,” Heidi replied when asked what her new doll looks like.

Conan O’Brien Tribute To Ed McMahon on ‘The Tonight Show’

Late night host Conan O’Brien shared some heartfelt words about the legacy of late TV icon Ed McMahon during his opening monologue on The Tonight Show Tuesday.
McMahon, who was The Tonight Show’s announcer for 30 years (1962-1992) during the Johnny Carson era of the late night program. Ed passed away at Ronald Regan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles on Monday.
He was 86.
“Ladies and gentlemen, before we go any further tonight we’re going to change gears here because there’s something very important I do need to talk about. As you’ve probably all heard, Ed McMahon passed away last night and this is obviously a very sad day,” Conan said. “It is impossible I think, for anyone to imagine the ‘Tonight Show With Johnny Carson’ without Ed McMahon. Ed’s laugh was really the soundtrack to that show.”
“For 30 years Ed played his part perfectly, he played it with effortless joy and sitting alongside Johnny, Ed was an indelible part of what I think is the most iconic two-shot in broadcasting history,” Conan said. “There will never be anything like that again. Now everybody here at the ‘Tonight Show’ mourns the loss of this warm and really truly funny man. Our thoughts go out to his family and to his fans everywhere… Ed, you will be missed.”
